Command Center <Hunter HQ>

Rock hmms slightly, looking back to Proto then shrugs. "Something wrong, Blues?"

Kyo-Ohki rolls out slighty from undernear the conferance table...toying with a...oversized dustbunny. Her little bell tinks when she rolls about....only to stop when the animal comes to a stop against Protoman's ankle, leaving the little animal to peer up and up at him inquisitively. "Meeeeeeeew?"

Protoman peers down at the cabbit as it bumps into his ankle, frowning slightly. .oO(Stupid animals.)Oo. He pushes it away with his foot before looking back to his brother and responding coldly, "Not at all, Bro."

Kyo-Ohki falls back somewhat...slightly rolling again. When she stops to give herself a good shake, ears flopping about as she does, she then stops and scampers over towards Rock (Who's nicer!) and hides behind his legs while yipping.

Rock blinks... looking down at the familiar, questioning Mewl. Rock softly smiles down to Kyo, reaching down and scooping her up, and sets the little cabbit on his armored shoulder before looking to Proto... "Like /that/ sounds convincing." Rock regards his brother with those Sapphire Blues... "I heard some interesting messages from someone on the Broadband the other night." Rock shakes his head. "I have needed to make a report on my own encounter with her... but... from what from what I heard... you have encountered her as well."

Kyo-Ohki offers the reploid a soft pur as well as a cabbit-kiss on the cheek. She then peers towards the android to childishly stick out her tongue with a playful "Ttttttthbts!", only to feing innocence a moment later and settle on her perch. "Mipmip!"

Protoman stares back at his brother, "What are you talking about?"

(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: '(OOC: Erk...lemme try again!) Rock, you reading?'.

Rock looks to Kyo, offering her a soft pet before crossing his arms over his chest, regarding Proto Man. "You know..." Rock shakes his head, looking back to Blues... "I am talking about Wraith, Blues... She was saying a few things on the broadband the other night..."

(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: 'Hmm? Reading, Twi? What is it? I am up here in the Command Center with Blues and Kyo.'.
(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Just wanted to see how you were. And, I spoke briefly with General the other night. Um...kinda wish him a blessed Thanksgiving. He mentioned He'll be leading Repliforce personally to clean up the situation in South Africa.'.

Protoman .oO(!#$#ing wonderful.)Oo. The Android plays it off cooly, however, "Like what?"

Rock looks to Proto... "One comment... Wearing the lipstick next time you see me." Rock just... shakes his head... looking to Proto. "She is... strange... half the time she is an all business, deadly assassin... and the next she is talking like Jazz. I met her myself... at Noise's Funeral. She came to the graveyard to visit the grave of someone... I couldn't get a good look at who."

(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: 'Ahh, I am all right, Twila. And really? Hmmm... Thanksgiving... I forgot about that. And he is? Well... the Repliforce might need some aid...'.
(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: ' General didn't state a time or whatnot. Just that he would be spearheading the mission himself. If the Hunters are going...always handy to have a medic on hand. As for the holiday, it was a bit of a hectic week. So it's understandable. Rick and I were with Lauren.'.
(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: 'I am glad you and Rick spent time with her. I would love to spend time with her myself and get to know her better. And yes, You are right... I imagion that the Mavericks are going to be rallying and fighting back every step of the way when the Repliforce moves in...'.

Kyo-Ohki props herself up and gives a little stretch before crossing the boy's shoulders, rubbing her hair against the back of his head as she does, purring, and sitting herself back down on the otherside. There...that's better! She leans against his side and whispers a few "mips" within his ear and then softly giggles.

Rock reaches up, petting Kyo with a soft chuckle and tender smile... even in such a serious conversation... Kyo has that effect.

Protoman shrugs, "No idea what you're talking about Bro, all I know is that the little wench is gonna get a beating next time I see her."

How's Kyo supposed to know it's serious? Usually her type of understanding is...selective. Like most any cat's...

Rock nods slightly to Proto... "Well..." Rock shakes his head, sighing... "She and I had a Mexican Standoff of sorts... After Twila got Light away... I got some interesting information." Rock sighs... "I didnt really have a choice except to let her go... but... she said she never takes a job on the same person twice. I hate to say it... but I believe her. She seems... I don't know..." Rock shakes his head... "/Something/ is very strange there..." Rock looks to Blues... "Light should be safe at least... He is alive... and vengeance isn't worth it. If we drag her in to the Police... her former employers will probably get her our faster then we could blink..." Rock shakes his head then sighs... He had no choice really... His father is alive... and he couldnt kill her in cold blood... even for nearly killing his creator.

Kyo-Ohki> Protoman shrugs. "Your choice, Rock." Back to leaning up against the wall. .oO(I'm gonna rip her limb from !#$ing limb, however.)Oo.

(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Guess they didn't get enough pumpkin pie. Speaking of which...Lauren sent some leftovers back with us. Your peice is in the fridge.'.
(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: 'Thanks!'. And don't worry... I will get in touch with the General...'.

Rock nods and looks to Proto... "Something if wrong with her... whoever she is... I for one want to know who hired her. That is more important. If someone is hiring assassins to try and kill Dr. Light... that is something we need to know about." Rock then eyes Blues... nodding slowly... "And if I know you... you will be wanting to go after her, Bro."

Protoman hrmphs, raising his hand to pull the scarf up a bit closer to his face, "There ya go again, thinking you know stuff."

Rock grins to Blues. "Hey, I am suppose to know stuff... I am your brother."
He then shrugs... "Just... don't yet, Blues... We need to find out who hired her, why, and what they want... Wraith said that she wasn't paid to kill Dr. Light... only nearly."

The cabbit observes the reploid and android as they converse and tilts her head, not really understanding either of them. Then again, why should she? All thta's expected of her is to eat, sleep, and get into mischief. Her nose twitches as the grav lift doors open as she blurts a "Meimei!" in greeting before hiding her face behind her floppy ears as if hiding in a game...right there on Rock's shoulder.

Twila pauses to smile towards her pet, as well as her perch, and slides into a nearby seat at a terminal. "Hey," she quietly, overhearing some of the conversation...and then checks on the recent reports.

Protoman pushes up off the wall and over to a monitor, "So she was paid to hurt him? That could be any of a million people, Rock. Wily, Sigma... even the Yaks. Hell, it could be some kid looking for a thrill."

X looks over as Twila enters, smiling softly to the cabbit on his shoulder... reaching up to tickle her playfully before setting her down. He nods to Twila, then he looks back to Proto Man... "I don't know about Wily... It isn't like him." Rock turns, slowly walking over and looking at one of the monitors himself... "Wily was Dr. Light's friend for a long time, Blues... I know what you think of him... but he was once a good man. He is just..." Rock sighs softly, shaking his head... "I don't see Wily doing that... especially as he came to help Dr. Light." Rock looks to Blues, then Twila... then back to the monitor... "Also, she mentioned something about Sigma offering her money and safety... It might not be him... if he only offered it..."

Kyo gives a pouty face as she's set back down, grumping. This is quickly gotten over as she trots over towards The Console near Twila, transfixed by the colors on the screens...

"Sigma?" The girl questions while reaching out to stroke the cabbit's fur.

Rock looks over to Twila, nodding... "We are talking about Wraith..." Rock sighs... "Seems we both have had little... encounters... with her." Rock just shakes his head... a bit of red coming to his cheeks before he turns back to the screen. A Blush?

Protoman spins on his heels towards Rock, "He is just what, Rock?" The Hunter's tone goes darker than before, almost evil... "Misunderstood? A good person at heart?" Blues stalks forward towards his brother, a rage of emotions swirling in his eyes, only veiled by the black visor that he has used to keep others out for so long. "Tell me you don't believe that, you son of a !#@$#, tell me you honestly don't believe such a horrid, insane mother !@##er could in anyway be considered good..." Proto cuts off, his anger seeming to ebb away for a moment, replaced by cold contempt, "No, you could... only your ignorant mind could contemplate that."

Twila Peterson turns about also disagreeing with Rock initial assessment but, doesn't dispute at the moment. However, watching Blue's reaction prompts her to at least remark something on the issue. "Wily's views are all twisted. He's not good at heart since his hear would be twisted as well. I've seen on that blasted isle of his. If anything," she concedes, "he's a madman. But...I doubt he's want Light hurt despite all that."

X, after explaining the situation to Twila, is taken aback of a sudden by the words of Blues. X turns his gaze to Blues, regarding him with those sapphire blue eyes... he only pauses silently... listening to his words. Then he sighs, shaking his head and looks to Proto Man... "You said it yourself, Proto Man... he is Insane. He wasn't before... he /was/ a good man, Blues... and like an Uncle... but... maybe you don't remember then." Rock sighs, shaking his head and crosses his arms over his chest. "Wily as he is now, Proto... he is insane... evil... and needs to be stopped." Rock looks to Blues intently... "Not killed... only stopped... and put somewhere were he can get help and never hurt anyone again."

Then... X's eyes narrow... as he receives a transmission. His face hardening, growing tight and controlled into the visage of Commander X. He responds, his eyes distant as he converses... then he mutters softly... "Speak of the Devil... and he shall appear..." X looks to Blues... "We can discuss this later, Brother... we have bigger things to worry about... like Sigma..." X then continues the conversation... all Commander now

A quiet picture of elegance in her yellow dress, long black hair up in an ornate bun . . . Rosea Omoh, to a few. And apparently of a recent model of android, as she looks almost completely human.

Kyo-Ohki sits on her hind legs, watching the screen happily. When her stomach gives a gurgle she pats it and scampers off into the air vent, leaving her owner to hope she's not going to have a heyday in the Mess hall's pantry.

Twila straightens a bit, returning to to topic of the radios, "What's he

Protoman just stares at his brother... "Remember?" He stops, and snarls. "Whatever, -little- bro, you're in the dark as usual." And with that, Blues goes back over to his wall, his attitude well defined in his posture and facial expression. .oO(I remember Wily -all- to well.)Oo.

Rock looks to Twila... "... He means to make humans pay for that little bit of revenge..." Rock sighs... shaking his head. "I cant allow that to happen... if General means to invade South Africa like you said... he better do it soon..." Then X pauses... staring into nothingness. He can only sigh.

X then looks to his brother, noding slowly. "I am sorry, big brother..." X just shakes his head, turning to a monitor and running his hands over the controls... sending out a transmission. "I have another madman to deal with besides Wily at the moment..."

Twila Peterson slowly dips her chin in response and gets up from her seat. Whether or not the order is actually given she goes ahead and puts on her gear, just in case. Better prepared just in case than not, no? "Sounds like him...like someone throwing a tantrum..." Abit dangerous one...

After placing on her outfit Twila seats herslf back down at the console...returning herself again through the news reports to see if anything had recently been added.

Rock looks over to Twila... nodding slowly. Then Rock sighs. "I may need backup... and yes, Twila..." Rock looks over to Blues... his sapphire eyes intent and questioning... "Blues... I may need your help if things get dicey..." X then looks back to his console, running his hands over the controls... "If I know Sigma..." He continues to reply to him, those eyes narrowing slowly
Twila Peterson dips her chin after eyeing a few newsbits. "Where exactly?"
Rock shakes his head... "Don't know... Sigma seems to be wanting to fight me..." Rock looks to the two of them... "Probably not the /smartest/ idea... but if I can stop him from hurting those humans..."

Protoman rolls his eyes and remains quiet.

Twila Peterson asks in concern, "He holds some in custody?"

Rock clenches one snow-white hand into a fist... then looks to Twila. "He is the one behind the chaos in South Africa... he must be intending to cause pain there... before Repliforce can do anything about it." Rock then looks to Blues... "Blues... will you help?"

Twila Peterson wouldn't dispute such a thing...but considering the situation down there she can't help but have some reservations. "Rock, how do you know it simply isn't a trap?"

Protoman peers at Rock, and then disappears.

Rock closes his eyes... then opens them to look to Twila... "He is leaving me little choice... He is threatening to kill people if I don't..." Rock then looks to Blues as he disappears, sighing... then Rock looks to Twila. "I will take Beat and Rush with me, Twila..."

The girl swivels within her seat. "Need me to come...to keep away bystanders?" she questions after a moments pause.

Rock closes his eyes slowly, then looks to Twila... "He wants to fight in Robotropolis..."

Ooook...so keeping away bystanders may not be much of a problem...especially since it's still contaminated with radiation. Unless protected by a craft or an Armor...no doubt she'd be forbidden to go. At least no thought has to go into the damage of real estate. "I see. Would you...have reservations about me monitoring the confrontation via satellite...just in case?" Peterson asks.

Rock looks to Twila and nods, walking forward to her side and moves to hug her. "That I wouldn't mind..." Rock shakes his head... "I have to go stop him... I cant let him hurt those people... even if I have to knock him down to do it." After a pause, "Stay here, and yes... that would be wise... if I need help, you can call in the Calvery... I will be careful..."

Twila Peterson rises from her seat and returns the hug whole heartily. She pulls back only after giving him a gentle kiss on the cheek. With a sigh, she reluctantly lets go. "You'll be watched over. Take care down there ok? And come back?"

Rock returns the soft kiss on her cheek after the hug, nodding to her. Then he looks up, sending a radio transmission out... and swiftly his two pets do join him. Rush and Beat. The Ruby Rover and the Blue Bird of Kicking Aft fly to his side... they looking expectantly up to their master. "Come on, you two... we have some work to do..." Rock shakes his head, then looks to Twila... "I will be careful, Twila... I promise... and don't worry... I will."

Rush gives a bark and nod, flashing as he transforms into the Hoverboard mode of the Rush Jet. Beat flaps about, chiruping encouragingly.

Twila Peterson lifts a hand in half a wave. "Good hunting..."

Rock nods to Twila, his face sad... but resigned... "Thanks... I will need it." He then leaps onto Rush, waving in return, then Rock turns, Beat flapping beside him as the three fly for the Teleporters

Twila Peterson whispers as he heads out, "Godspeed..."

(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: 'Thanks, Twila... I will need it'.
(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'I'll let you know when the satellite is linked.'.
(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: 'Got it. I am in route to Robotropolis.'.

Screen> Robotropolis - City Square
Welcome to the center of Robotropolis, the deepest pit of hell, the heart of darkness. This is town center has a big, wide, and scorched open area. At its center is a cracked and broken statue of Wily, graffiti having distorted it nearly beyond recognition. Its head lies cracked and broken in the ash at its feet. The square has broken roads branching off to each major area of the city of Robotropolis, leading to the other great sites of desolation this city has to offer for all life-kind. The sheer desolation of this city makes you want to drop down on your hands and knees and beg any deity who's name you can summon to just give you a reason for all this death and horror. Search lights shine here and there, sweeping across the constantly cloudy sky. Acid rain frequents the area, as if the heavens themselves are venting their wrath. Sentinel drones patrol the street, searching for life to annihilate. The radiation here is at its strongest, offering death to any and all organic life that dwells here too long unprotected.
And rising before you is a building that dwarfs any other standing structure in Robotropolis. A massive four-sided pyramid looms upward from the ground the Wily Plaza once stood upon. At the tip of the enormous construction is a giant eye, one carved into each side of the pyramid. This is the Citadel, the dark core of Robotropolis and home of its dark master. Search lights sweep off of it, and that eye watches the city with a detachment and apathy towards the suffering bellow that would rival God Himself.

(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'The general area is coming into focus. Just be careful...it may be a trap.'.

Screen> The radioactive winds of Robotropolis howl their Banshee cry of death. The criminals keep low in the shadows and the alleys. The Hunter-Killer drones are strangely absent from the streets. The city is still. The city is.. afraid. For a truly ominous figure stands atop the great Pyramid, perched perfectly at the pinnacle of the massive structure. Its eyes stare out from beneath that dark creature. Twin sapphire optics burn from its shadows. This is Sigma, and he is standing at the heart of shadow.

(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: 'If it is... I wont be staying long'.
(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Coming into focus. No chance in saying he's on candid camera. Would somehow ruin it...'.

Screen> The dark, ever-present, toxic clouds that hang over the city are thick today, blotting out even the Stars. In this city, the criminals indeed lay low... as they tend to often avoid the looming, massive structure of that Pyramid. There... in the heart of all that gloom... in the middle of all that black... without hope... without joy... without light. There at last comes a figure... a figure that brings with it more of those then exists in this wrecked Megalopolis. A Gleam in the Gloom. From the direction of the teleportation chambers, cruising through the wrecked and ruined streets comes that spark of hope. A Boy in Blue.

Mega Man... X... Rock Man... Rock... they are all his names. Today he has come to prevent death... and deal with an old enemy. He rides apon his Robotic Canine turned Hoverboard, Rush... and at his side, soaring through the air, is a smaller blue shape, The Blue Bird of Kicking Aft... Beat. All of X's attention is focused on the Pyramid... on he who is on top of it... Sigma. A Snow white hand slowly retracts into his left forearm, and from which, the barrel of his Buster extends. The Ruby Red focusing jewel inset into the front of his helm glitters as he flies for that Dark Lord. He calls out... "You wanted me, Sigma? Well... Here I am!"

(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'I'm...already homed in on you and 'Smily'.'.

Screen> A thin, half-smile stretches across Sigma's face, like a horrible serpent. "So you are, X. So you are." Without further adieu the Maverick Lord gets down to business. His cloak sweeps aside, revealing Velgauder the ever loyal hound at its master's side. With another sweep Sigma detaches his cape, sending it and his bulky shoulder guards plunging to the ground. They strike with a muffled * WHUMP *, cracking rocks beneath it and sending up a cloud of dust. Now Sigma is free to fight without restraints, to go all out, this will be a battle to the death.

"And so it begins. But we are destined to clash again and again, aren't we, X? Just as our kind is destined to rise, RISE, and claim its place as the true masters of this world. But enough words. Let the unending dance commence once more." Energy crackles around Sigma's body as his form becomes charges, becomes primed for battle. Electricity dances in the air around him, and reality itself begins to waver, like a the scorching surface of a desert. Without warning Sigma's form dematerializes, as if it were never there. Above Rock, two images of Sigma appear. The twin dark messiahs merge together, hands locked over his head. The reploid savior brings the skullcrushing might of his fists down at the Hunter's skull, "Let the eternal conflict shake the heavens once again."

Screen> X continues to fly forward on the back of the Ruby Rover... his eyes caught by the Maverick Commander's loyal hound... Velgauder. Rush himself sees, giving a low snarl, his jets increasing to carry X ever forward. Beat flies swiftly as his side... a trail of blue extending behind him. His own sapphire blue eyes narrow as he watches Sigma... and all ready his Buster gives a low hum as it charges. "I dont care how many times we have to do this, Sigma... you /wont/ win... ever. I will always be here to stop you!"

X then blinks as Sigma vanishes, nodding and looking about, his head then snapping up as his radar detects the presence of the Dark Messiah flying down for him. X then leans back and springs from Rush, he and Beat flying foward as X shoots back, igniting his dash jets as Sigma passes barely in front of him. His Buster snaps up, raising for Sigma. "No matter how many times we fight... you and your Mavericks will loose!"

From X's Buster then lances a low level blast for the Maverick Lord as he flies back and down, the earth coming up swiftly below the two of them

Screen> The bolt of burning purity streaks through the air, directly at the grand Maverick. Sigma makes no attempt to block, no attempt to parry. He merely raises his hand and catches the ball of energy, wrapping his fingers around it, savoring the burn. Finally the blast fades from existence, and Sigma opens his palm to reveal nothing but smoke and charred armor along his digits and palm, "Spoken like a true tool of oppression. You will never be free until you acknowledge the truth about yourself. You must protect this planet. And so you must stop the cancer that is eating away at it, humanity. They drain all the natural resources in their path, like locusts, before they find a better place to pillage. If you really are the protector you pretend to be, then you must do everything you can to help me cure the plague that infests this world." Sigma's eyes flash darkly.

"Every last human."

With that Sigma teleports forward, again, appearing directly in front of Rock. Sigma flies forward, fist extended in a punch, but fades through X like a specter. The real Sigma is behind Megaman, fist outstretched. In an attempt to rest X from his canine chariot Sigma seizes the Hunter by his helmet, massive fist enwrapping the white armor. It is Sigma's intention to pull Rock from Rush and slam him, by the head, into the ground hundreds of feet bellow. The dark messiah rockets downward, his destructive intent only a pale reflection of his intentions for mankind.
Screen> Rock gets blown back by Sigma's Smash.

Screen> X's Sapphire Blues narrow into slits as he looks up at Sigma, falling down through the air from the hieght of where he lept. His face, features, everything about him hardening as he slips more into the part of him that is Commander X. He then calls out his voice full of scorn. "You are Deluded, Sigma! Deluded and Mad! You are a defect in the Reploid Race, Sigma! The Humans can change, the Humans have... It is /their/ job to protect this planet... their's and our's. They are not the cause of it's destruction, You are... Kaiser!" X calls Sigma that name... the name of what he fears to one day come to past, the name of perhaps what Sigma hates even about himself.

Then X's eyes open wide, igniting his dash jets to try and avoid the attack, but no, Sigma does indeed deliever his blow as the ghost passes through X, then the True Sigma appears behind him, snatching him by the head /hard/ into the ground. X only grunts as he hits, his blue armor groaning from the impact. Then he seems to twist in the Larger Maverick's hold, his legs moving up and contorting as good as any break dancer might be able to acomplish, moving to try and wrap his legs about Sigma's bald head and use his equal strength to pull Sigma down to the ground, hard.

Screen> And as the two individuals of great power duke it out amongst ruins that have seen their fair share of battles gone past, another individual slinks amongst the the devastated structures that at one time were towering spires of a magnificent city. If anything, he knows these streets better than anyone else around here....for in it's prime, he oversaw their construction. Kept within the shadows, his ebony armor making him near invisible to the naked eye, Bass stalks along at a cautious pace, watching the flashes of light and the sounds of battle that indicate the conflict between the two robotic powerhouses. With crimson eyes narrowed to slits, he allows the edge of his mouth to curve downwards ever so slightly at the sight of the two fighters. But for the moment, he makes no other moves. His hide still carries the scars of an engagement from the day before. And while still in near top running condition, he isn't 100 percent, and not ready to go about getting involved in something like this anyway. Even if his first instinct is to leap in and make claim on what he feels is his own right to kill the armored hero.

As such, he simply finds a place to crouch, and observe from the shadows, determined to let the events play themselves out. He has faith....Rock isn't his most hated foe for nothing after all.

Screen> Sigma roars, "Never call me by that name!" but the distraction holds and X manages to lock his legs around the Maverick's neck, pulling the larger reploid to the ground. "You call me mad, Hunter! I am trying to save our people while you work to ensure that they remain slaves! That is madness!" The massive robot manages to wrest himself from the lock, doing a backflip backwards, landing gracefully, toes suspended an inch above the ground. Sigma's aura blazes around him once again and he flies forward, exchanging a series of punches and kicks with X. Unfortunately they are equally matches and every blow is blocked on both sides. Finally Sigma grows weary of the unending exchange and simply barrels forward, attempting to lock his arms around Rock and charge him through decayed brick wall after wall after wall, as if he were trying to use the Hunter CO as a makeshift battering ram. "And if are not with us, Rock, then you are against us, and you will feel the wrath of a people who will not be slaves again."

Screen> The Hunter CO tightens his legs around Sigma's neck for the moment they hold, then grunts as the Larger reploid breaks free, the Blue Bomber spining up and to his feet. Dr. Cain has taught him well. X then lets his snow white hand replace his Buster Barrel, his eyes narrows as he drops into a fighting stance, raising a hand foward and beckoning unto Sigma, he doesnt respond to his taughts... not now... He is to intent on this battle. The many programs installed into his head by Dr. Edward Cain running as through his mind corilates the skills of the greatest martial artists in all of history. He then moves with the Maverick Commander as he comes for him, blocking and dancing away from blow after blow of the larger, more massive reploid. "Getting to slow, Kaiser! You can do better then that!"

X then engages his Dash Jets to aid his spring up and foward, lancing up and above Sigma before spining mid-air. His blue color scheme begins to change of an instant... the snow white and light blue shifting to black, the deep blueen as he lands. In X's hand then shimmers into being... a long, gnarled, oaken, metal topped Cane. "I will /never/ be with you, Sigma... I am against you... And will be... /forever!/"

X then Dashes foward towards Sigma, the Cane twirling in his hand as he leaps for Sigma, moving with his amazing agility, the Cane moving to try and fall on Sigma's head, shoulders, arms, knees, legs, hips, and body... in short... X attempts to beat Sigma down with the attack of the Human who would turn all Robotic Life into Leashed Slaves.

(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: '*wince*'.
(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: 'Dont worry, Twila... I have a plan...'.

Screen> Bass doesn't even -have- to glance back. By now he knows that voice all too well. And although his scowl does deepen for a moment...almost as if in annoyance, he doesn't turn around at all, or spare Blues the the honor of glancing in his general direction. He does respond however.

"Oh shut up and just watch."

Screen> The robotic savior snarls, "Then you will die, X!" and his force-aura blazes around him, kicking up dust and dirt. As X brings the cane down upon the intense energy the wooden structure simply.. shatters. Chunks of the Wily Cane fly in all directions, creating a small shower of wood around Sigma's form. The eyes of the dark reploid narrow, "You think this is a game? I will show you the error of your ways." Sigma rockets forward, fist extended in an almost Superman-ish pose. His aim is to sock X squarely in the face with all the power of his aura and fist combined. "And it will be the last thing you shall ever learn."

Screen> Protoman doesn't expect a response, and even if he did, he wouldn't expect a good one. The Crimson Clad Hunter takes two steps forward, stopping right next to Bass as he peers out at the two combatants, one he couldn't really give a damn about what they do... the other he'd like to see thrash Wily. .oO(Come on, Rock... you could be off tearing appart the dragon right now, or knee deep in dead mets. This is pointless.)Oo. Blues crosses his arms and sets his face into a neutral look, all the while, that yellow scarf blowing in the wind.

.oO(And I have to watch this with finhead.)Oo.

Screen> The Blue Bomber's eyes widen as the cane explodes in it's shatter against the force-aura around Sigma... then his eyes narrow, the Blue once more replacing the Black and White of an instant, his last ounce of Cane Whack energy fading away. "I wont die at your hands, Sigma... and you will find Justice at mine! And no... This is no game!" X ducks and leans back around the fist as it flies forward, not moving from the spot he was in, arching around and up, igniting his own dash jets to bring his helmet flying foward for the Messaih's face.

Screen> Sigma quickly and skillfully turns to the right, allowing the Maverick Hunter to sore right by him. The dark messiah uses the evasion to his advantage, grabbing a hold of Rock's extended leg, while the paragon of Justice's back is still turned to him, and using the hold to spin the mush smaller robot over his head. Around and around X goes, until Sigma releases, hurling him into the air. This, in itself, does no damage, but the twin eye-beams Sigma sends lancing towards the Hunter's exposed back might very well do that job. * CRACKOW * The duel beams of light cut through the air, their path set directly at Megaman.

Screen> Teisel hrms...looking through the controls of the gurillaish mech that is the Gustaff. "Holy crap! This place is Chrynobl all over again. At least this thing's airtight." The thing lumbers forward, and spots Bass and Blues. Stopping behind them, the speaker inside the thing's jaw utters Teisel's voice. "What's going on?"

Screen> Bass blinks as someone ELSE shows up as well, and this time he -does- straighten up and glare over his shoulder at the sudden big...thing arrives. By now he's learned not to get shocked at much that he sees. Living with the band of misfits that he does tends to make one almost immune to surprise.

"Oh for...." At that he glares in Protoman's direction. "...why don't we just start selling tickets?"

Screen> Teisel Bonne hmmms in his cockpit "Why didn't I think of that? Oh well...too late now." he puts a radio headset over his ears "Gesellschaft, do you read? This is the Gustaff. I've found the Blue Boy...but he looks a little busy. Wait for my signal, and /then/ snatch his helmet"

Screen> Protoman slowly turns towards the Bonne at the exact same time as Bass, peering at the large contraption. Turning to face Bass, he says dryly, "This is a family afair, sides... that thing looks like it came from your boss, not mine." He refers to the Ride Armor of course. At the mention of Mega Man's helmet, Protoman's arm morphs into a buster. A buster that is charging.

A buster that is aimed at Teisel.

Screen> "Don't look at me..." Bass grunts, as he shifts his own arm around and draws his own buster to bear, aiming it at the Gustoff as well and starting to charge it in the process.

"We're not guilty for this tinker toy..."

Screen> Round and Round X goes... where he stops... nobody knows!

X is indeed caught by the leg, giving out a yell of surprise before being hurled up by the even more massive Reploid. Twila's warning over the Radio does no good, despite X engaging his dash jets to try and shoot X forward to avoid the eye beams... to no avail. The /lance/ into his back, sending him spinning mid air to fall and land in a heap to the side. X coughs, his backplates burnt slightly... before he rolls and twists up to his feet, his legs windmilling around to give him the momentum he needs to leap to his feet. X pants slight, sucking in air, even this poisonous air, to cool his systems before darting a look back to Sigma. "Nice move, Kaiser! Time for one of mine!"

X's color scheme changes of an instant, the snowy white and light blue of his Mega Man armor turning a brown, while the deeper blue turns a deep orange... and strangely, upon X's feet appear a small set of wheels built within. X then turns fully, spinning on those wheels and begins to skate for the Maverick CO, his arms spreading wide. "Come on, Kaiser! Lets see what you've got!!"

X continues to charge, his speed increading exponentialy as he skates toward Sigma, hoping to distract and taunt him to charging as well, X does something unexpected... he goes into a Spin. A spin so blindingly fast that it is hard to make out any one part of X, and even a mini Tornado begins to form around him... then he flies straight for the Maverick CO. "TOP SPIN!!!"

Screen> Teisel Bonne blinks...and the mech sweatdrops "Woah! Um...Can I make a suggestion? We hold off the beating of the Bonne until /after/ the show?" The Gustaff begins to back slowly away...

(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Twila transmits: Rock, careful!
(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: 'Thanks, Twila. Dont worry... Lets see how he likes Top Man's weapon!'.

Screen> Protoman keeps the buster trained on Teisel, not a servo in his body moving besides the ones that are transferring energy from his central core into the energy storage device contained with in his main weapon. The Scarfed Wonder says not a word, not a single syllable. The only sound that escapes his form is a grunt, accompanied by the noise of the power transfer.

And the gauge on Blues' buster goes up another notch. [====----]

Screen> The massive reploid is spun about by Rockman's Tazmanian Devil action. Sigma whirls around and around and around, finally flying into the brick-wall of a nearby-ruin. The charred bricks collapse in a pile of dust, burying the Maverick Commander. Radioactive wind now howls across the now silent battleground. Lightning crackles on the distant horizon as another acid rain storm brews behind the clouds. Does Sigma explode out of the wreckage like a gloriously resurrected horror movie monster? No. Does Sigma appear behind Rock in the time-honored tactic of teleporting villains everywhere? No. Rather Sigma takes a very unorthodox method of attack. The ground beneath the Hunter CO explodes in a column of flame. The messiah of shadow move beneath the ground and pumped his super-heated gauntlets into the pavement supporting X, creating a column of napalm that burns with the intensity of Sigma's rage.

Screen> Teisel Bonne ehs... "C'mon guys...lighten up. I'm just here to watch! honest!" The mech holds up it's hand and Search Cannon in a gesture of innocence/surrender "Don't shoot!"

Screen> "How about we lay the line down as it is fleshling...I'll assume that somewhere within all that metal and structure there's a bag of flesh at the controls..." Bass growls, his own buster still gaining in power. "You go someplace else. Quickly...very quickly. Before we're forced to tear you into itty-bitty pieces. Now how does that sound?"

Screen> Teisel Bonne grrs... "Fine...shove me out of the picture, but mock my words, I'll be back! You can't treat Teisel Bonne like this and get away with it." The Gustaff turns and storms off...but while neither Bass nor Blues suspect little yellow faced robots only a foot tall each to be storming the remaining rooftops, six occupy the two buildings Bass and Blues stand between. Three on each roof sit there with binoculars.

Screen> X continues to whirl and spin, the Radioactive winds building into a funnel around the Blue Bomber... the Top Spin still raging around him as X gives the best impression of a Tazmanian Devil... the whirlwind about him turning black with the toxic nature of the air in Robotropolis. X can note and correlate, even in that mad spin, as Sigma doesn't appear to come out of the Rubble... then... his eyes open wide at the sudden signal from below him, /darts/ to the side, spinning swiftly in the Top Spin to avoid the column of superheated flame...

"To Slow, Kaiser!"

X then /leaps/ from within that Tornado, his color shifting back to blue as the tornado whips away, dispersing without it's focal point, X's left arm raised, the snow white hand slipping back into his forearm as the Buster within hums in it's charge, the Focusing Barrel extending a milisecond before X sends a blast from that Buster in mid leap for the Maverick Messiah

Seminole walks briskly into the Command Center, having overheard bits and pieces over his radio. He doesn't quite know the whole story, but gets enough as it is. He glances over at Twila while making his way to one of the computer stations. "Hi, Twila. Care to fill me in?"

Twila Peterson jumps slightly at Sem's voice, but settles soon enough, and questures to the screen she's keeping an eye on. "Rock and Sigma...one on one at Robotropolis. Rock left some time ago with Beat and Rush. I've been monitoring the fight from here."

Seminole nods to Twila as he slides into his seat, idly flipping a switch on his radio headpiece. He hrmms at the incoming data, then looks at a few more screens. "Just in case, I'm preparing for a full evac," he states, before phasing into his armored form. The Hunter flips up a small console on his wrist, beginning to recalibrate a few things.

Twila nods slowly towards him, after seeing Rock striken by the Makerick leader. "Need me along or shall I stay and monitor?" not pointing out she could simply use protective gear while there. Rock did ask her to stay. But if he requires attention of some sort...wouldn't it be better if she went?"

Seminole looks at Twila while he thinks over her question, closing the panel on his forearm. Slowly, he answers, "We'll see, Twila. Hopefully, he won't need a full med-evac. I want to risk as few people as possible in Robotropolis."

"Hopefully," Twila echos, then leans back in her seat. "Waiting is one of the hardest parts of this job that there is."

Screen> Nobody said anything about the Kobuns being quiet... Numbers 11-16 look down at the battle and chat between each other. 11 says "Alright gentlemen, place your bets." He starts collecting Zenny in piles, one labled Blue Guy, the other labled Mr. Clean.

Screen> Once again, Rock's blast sears towards Sigma. The buster shot catches him square in the face, charring the upper right side of his face and fusing his eye shut, "You will suffer for your crimes against the reploid people, betrayer. You will suffer as no living being has suffered before!" The massive self-proclaimed Reploid savior charges forward, attempting to grapple with X. He raises the Hunter over his head, trying to first stretch him to his breaking point and then bring his back down over Sigma's outstretched knee with spine-shattering force, "I will bring you the justice that you so desire, X. I will bring you justice."

Screen> Blues .oO(...)Oo.

Screen> "I swear if I get my hands on one of them when this is over..." Bass growls, clenching his right hand in a fist as he makes comment to the robot that shouted above. "...there won't be enough to make a screwnail." With that, he takes a step forward, shifting another glance towards the fight itself as it progresses. He frowns at the latest turn of events...but says nothing more. With that, he crouches down, and leaps high into the air, dash jets igniting and propelling him into a much higher leap, as he flips over onto a ruined building on the opposite side, and takes this as a new perch. Elevated positions are better anyway.

Screen> The Kobuns all cluster over on the opposite end of the roof next door to Bass. They may be cute, but they're not stupid.

Screen> X's eyes open wide as he flies still mid arch... watching as Sigma darts foward towards him and catches him mid air. His face it consumed with pain... his mouth opening to yell ashe is stretched between the two massive hands of Sigma. His shout then rises in pain even as the Blue Boy is brought down... hard... on the Messaih's knee. X's armor creaks and dents, his back arching at an unatural angle, his shout one of deep pain. If X were anything less... he would have been broken in two by that attack... mech-fluid bubbling up from his mouth... as he speaks up to the Maverick Leader before him.

"Never!"

X's buster rises up then, the hum of it turning to a different note... as a blade of pure white Plasma lances from it. X then brings his arm around to try and run the Plasma Blade right through Sigma's chest.

"Justice... is /mine/, Kaiser..."

"Justice... is /mine/, Kaiser..."

Screen> Sigma is impaled by the energy blade. His eyes grow wide with rage before he takes a move to counteract the tremendous pain splitting every neuron in his body. He quickly activates his energy aura, dispelling the blade currently implanted in his chest. He takes a step towards Rock before a new tactic occurs to him, "Perhaps justice is yours, today, Hunter. But victory is not." Sigma's eyes shift into a sickening shade of green and begin to emit a powerful hypnotic beam. The messiah waves a hand and reality itself around Rock seems to distort entirely, "Sleep!" commands Sigma in a soft rasp. And, as so many have learned since the very first reploid rebellion, the Maverick Commander is almost impossible to resist.

(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Rock...what's he doing?'.

Seminole nods in agreement, pausing to look down at the monitors again. He glances over at one of the sensor monitors, frowning visibly. "These door to door people have the worst timing," he comments with a sigh, then turns back to Twila. "Why is he in Robotropolis, do you know?"

Screen> Blues .oO(Ooooh, good one Rock.)Oo.

Twila Peterson tears herself away from the screen again. "As I said...a one on one with Sigma himself. Sigma told Rock that if he didn't show he's take the lives if some humans. Rock answered."

Screen> X narrows his eyes up at the Maverick Messiah above him, his teeth grited... mech fluid leaking from the corner of his mouth... his eyes locked up with Sigma's, full of Need. Need to stop this Madman... need to end this war... need to save the world.

And as such, he has no chance to voice the sickening green gaze of the Messiah, his eyes locked with his, before the effect of it hits the Blue Bomber. X's eyes close. The X-Blade vanishing as his Buster hums dead... then even with Pain bubbling deep in X's body, growing limp and lifeless... falling to the ground in a heap before the Messiah. Not even X is strong enough to resist the gaze of the Dark Messiah...

(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: '*silence...*'.

Screen> Bass narrows his eyes from where he watches, crouching down slightly and balancing himself on one knee as he observes. His fingers dig into the concrete surface of the rooftop as his glare never wavers...
Soon after Twila snaps her gaze towards Sem. "Rock just fell."

(Ch. B [None]) Blues transmits: 'Wow, I bet Sigma's gonna beat the !#@$ outta Rock, now.'.
(Ch. B [Lighthawk]) Seminole transmits: 'Shouldn't you be sweeping in to save him about.. now, Protoman?'.
(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Rock, wake up!'.

Seminole frowns at Twila, rather unconcerned about the problem going on outside at the moment. He rises from his chair, listening to his radio carefully. He waits for a possible response from Protoman while slowly moving toward the teleporters.

Defender Dingo sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "Twila, I hope you are not busy. I've some...gentlemen here that need some lint. And it looks like they're not leaving until they get some."

Rick Morgan exits from the gravity lift, indeed well aware that something is up. Something involving Rock for that matter. Something involving Sigma too. It's amazing what you hear over the radio as it is. And judging by what he's also heard he figured some people were listening up here...

"How's it going?" he asks as he steps free.

Twila shifts uneasily within her seat, not being able to do much else. Personally, she would rather not Rock have gone in the first place. The entire idea seemed to scream "Trap!" as it was. The young woman looks over her shoulder to see her brother arrive as well. She breaths a sigh and lifts a hand up halfway in greeting.

You send a tightbeam radio transmission to Defender Dingo: "Other concerns at the moment, Dingo."

Defender Dingo sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "I would love to help with that, but these two aren't gonna leave, mate."

Screen> Sigma smiles, "And so easily are the tools of slavery overcome. You fought a good fight, X, but in the end, for all our futures, this became inevitable. I give you a painless death for your efforts, a death in sleep." The Sigma Saber hisses from its sheath at the reploid savior's side. With an ominous whir it ignites, lancing out in a beam of crimson cutting energy. Slowly, casually, Sigma moves to Rock's side, raising the light sword over his head. X's neck is exposed, ready to be cleaved. The dark messiah has waited for this day for a long time, for the day that humanity's greatest tool would be destroyed, "Forever and ever we have been ground us beneath their heels. Now it is our time to grind them back. With your destruction all who would have opposed me will fall easily enough, or turn to me. I wonder how quickly Zero will remain loyal to your cause.. without you there to guide him. My one-time assassin will return to me, and the world will belong to the one, true race. The future is ours." Sigma turns the point of the saber down, readying it for the final blow, readying it for the kill.

You send a tightbeam radio transmission to Defender Dingo: "Just come inside then. They'll get the message."

Rick Morgan frowns, and turns to view the monitor, as he leans forward to set his hands onthe console in front of him. "So in short, it's not looking well at all?"

Seminole looks over at Rick, standing by the teleporter. His visor glimmers slightly, appearing fairly confident despite the situation. "Rick, prep the Kodiak. We might be going in," he orders.

(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: '*silence...'.

Screen> The world is a funny thing. It goes in cycles, seasons. Summer, Spring, Winter, Fall. Tranquility, serenity, war, death, chaos. War is currently taking place, war between two eternal partners in the great dance that is destined to continue forever more. But the phase of the world, war, has just ended. Crashing through it like a knife in flesh comes chaos. Pure, uncontrolled, chaos. And ever at its forepoint, the herald of Chaos' great scepter - Vile.

The clashes of war, the speeches of would-be heroes, the death of an icon, all are listeners to slowly increasing din of noise. A flapping noise, rhythmic and continuous, with its pitch increasing by the second. As the self-proclaimed Dark Lord lowers his blade for his ultimate victory, these crescendo of beating noise comes to life. Over the darkened, stained horizon comes a salvo of glittering cobalt devices of death. Hunter Seekers. An entire fleet of them. And marching at there forefront is Vile. Purple hue. Gone. Regal elegence. Shattered. Covered in scorches, splotches, missing armour portions, chipped, bruises, Vile returns to the world of the living. Returns to HIS city, to find what? War. War the holds off his impending chaos.

However, something within Vile's mind is not quite the same. As his army speckles the horizon to approach his home, and he see's his Maverick Commander about to achieve their ultimate victory, compassion smashes across him. And with shocking speed, Vile shimmers out of existence from his march, stepping through a glowing green-rimmed doorway to another world. The world opens over top Sigma, as a pair of splintering Vile Cannon blasts shoot down at Sigma. Rock must be saved, to save chaos, or because Vile actually cares?

The young woman tries her radio, trying to awaken Rock if she can. Longshot she knows. But she must at least try. "He's definitely not answering."

(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Rock...please...'.

Screen> Protoman checks his Buster. .oO(Alright, this is where I...)Oo. He stops as he sees and hears Vile and just blinks. .oO(The heck...?)Oo.

Twila Peterson breaths in shrply. "Not looking well at all."

Screen> 14, 12, and 16 grab their Zenny back from 11 before they can say anything about the outcome. They run like crap to get away from the other three
Long distance to General: Twila Peterson icly thinks Rock was foolish to answer Siggy's challange. But that's just her. :-)

(Ch. B [None]) Blues transmits: 'No need to come running, boys and girls... Vile is saving Rock...'.

(Ch. B [Lighthawk]) Seminole transmits: '... Are you he's -saving- Rock? Not -killing- Rock?'.

<Donachi Dist.> Defender Dingo shakes his head, "Just go. Okay?" He sighs.
Screen> Bass narrows his eyes to mere slits as Sigma moves forward, apparently ready to deal the final blow to the fallen opponent. His fingers tighten at the edge of the rooftop, as if tempted to very well show his own face at this point. That is, until Vile makes his own appearance on the scene in a sudden flash of light...and weaponsfire.

Slowly, he arches one eyebrow, his grip on the roof's edge relaxing for just a moment. "What's this now...?" his grunt lifts from his mouth, as his glare traces the new arrival. Things just got more...interesting as it is. And if there's one thing Bass is afflicted with in addition to his usual chaotic patterns, it's a sense of curiosity that demands to be satisfied when something out of the ordinary presents itself to be watched.

And this rates as pretty abnormal.

<Donachi Dist.> Guts Man says, "No! Give us some Dr. Light Lint. Then we'll clone a new Dr. Light made out entirely out of lint, ahahahahahahaha!!!"

<Donachi Dist.> [OOC] General says, "..."
<Donachi Dist.> [OOC] Defender Dingo says, "..."

Seminole frowns again, listening over his radio and trying to keep an eye on all the incoming data on the monitors. With so much, it's hard to keep his focus, but seems to be doing okay. "Rick?" he asks again.

Rick Morgan was uh...caught up in the scene on the monitors, frowning to himself. "Uh...yeah." he grunts. "SHe's set to go with the touch of a button as is."

Screen> Sigma sees Vile on the horizon and calls, "Ah, lieutenant, you're just in time to witness my vic.." the dark lord is cut short by the piercing crimson energy of the Vile cannon, slamming right towards him. With lightening reflexes Sigma teleports out of the way, reappearing several yards away from Rock's fallen form, victory snatched from him. The cannon blast strikes a far away building, causing a tremendous explosion, "VILE! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?!!?" roars the Maverick Commander. Oh, what he will do to his XO. He has allowed him freewill, too much freewill, before. But this is inexcusable. He will make Vile pay. At the same time Sigma catches wind of Bass and Blues, his perception no longer confined to Rock and Blues alone. He cannot triumph here. Not against a combined force of this size. He must escape. And so Sigma fades from reality, his form growing translucent and then non-existent. Whatever has happened here.. it has cost the Maverick Commander the ultimate prize.

Screen> The Maverick Hunter commander... slowly opens his eyes at the explosion that takes place. An explosion caused by the... Maverick XO, Vile?! X groans, turning his head... and can only stare. Vile... saved him?! Could it be... Vava? How? In the reports, Vava looked like a reflection of Vile, and this Vile looks nearly dead. X's mouth opens in surprise, before he activates his dash jets, skidding across the ground and hopefully out of reach. Out of his mouth come a good few Germanic curses... learned from someone long ago, said with disbelief in that familiar voice.

(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Rock, wake up and get outta there!'.
(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: 'Ow... What did Sigma do to me? ... Right. Doing so, Twila...'.
(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Answers later.'.

Seminole nods again, then speaks into his radio. He sighs heavily, wishing he could get more information out of the reclusive Hunter. So far, he's not having that much luck.

(Ch. B [None]) Blues transmits: 'I don't know what in the heck I'm watching, but it's @#$ed up.'.
(Ch. B [Dragonfire]) Rock transmits: '... You have... no idea...'.

Screen> There's a flash of Crimson light, and in an instant, Blues is between Vile and Rock, Buster charged and aimed directly at what should be the Maverick XO. Then again, as things are going, even that's not really positive right now. So there Blues is, standing there, scarf blowing in the wind, and confused out of his mind.

<Donachi Dist.> War. The one true darkness in man - the desire to fight. To kill. To maim. To destroy. It exists within every human being and, now, every machine. Yet, this night, war has not come to be made. The battle takes place else where between the Maverick and Hunter commanders. Its toll is unknown. Has it concluded? Has it begun? One cannot say, but even as it festers, the night brings forth two other individuals. One towers easily over many of the buildings present, his golden frame gleaming in whatever light exists. The other follows alongside, regal and proud in his stride. A detachment of Repliforce soldiers follows them at either flank, weapons held at ready.

Calm eyes gazing at the scene as it grows in detail per nearing, the General emits a deep, rumbling 'hmm' in thought. He looks down at the Colonel briefly before refocusing his gaze, "It appears that we are not the only ones that have decided to pay the Hunters a visit, my old friend. I only pray that trouble does not find us. I do so tire of the fighting this night ..." He trails off with eyes casting upward ponderously, his steps causing the Earth to tremble with each move. Once they reach the perimeter of Hunter HQ, the General pauses to speak, "Repliforce, 32nd Infantry Regiment, /Halt/. Set up a perimeter, but be at ease." The troops do as told, quickly fanning out admist the buildings. Their escort properly occupied, the Repliforce Commander looks back to the task at hand, "If you would do the honors, Colonel."

Screen> Vile had been airborne when he fired, dropping from his teleportation rift. And now that he lands, he doesn't land very well. Crouching to absorb the blow, both of Vile's damaged legs buckle, and plant him face first on both knees, his hands flat against the scorched earth. With deep gasps, the Lieutenant tries to draw in oxygen to fuel his coolant systems, but they are long since shut down, making the breaths dry heaves. The golden Vile Cannon, long since losing its luster, glows an incandescent red now, as if the metals themselves were heated in a glass blowing oven. And then, as Vile's head turns slowly along the ground to watch the outcome of his irrational action, the Vile Cannon explodes. Not a devastating explosion, more like an ejection, a simple blast of red flame that rocks Vile onto his side. Then, with one last grunting moan, Vile collapses onto his back, arms akimbo from his body, deep breaths flatlined.

Twila breaths a small sigh of relief as Rock does indeed awaken...only for the computer to sound of attention towards one of it's scanners outdoors. The girl's eyes widen. Uh... "General...and Colonel just outside. Among...others."

Screen> And to join the sudden silence that fills the air after Vile's cannon has exploded and propelled him onto his back as such?

Applause.

There Bass stands, on the rooftop, standing straight as he watches the scene from his perch. Apparently the show is concluded...and a new one has started. Even then his clapping goes on for a few more moments before finally coming to an end.

"Oh bravo...." he quips. "What a top notch rescue. How very entertaining. Now why don't you all just go and blast him into atoms while he's laying there and be finished about it. Hrmmm?"

(Ch. B []) Twila Peterson transmits: 'General, Colonal, and some Repliforce troops are...right outside base.'.

Seminole's gaze darts at Twila, then looks skyward as if to ask some heavenly power why he's been here only a half hour and the night has plunged into chaos. Of course, he gets no answer, not that he expected one. "Lousy house crashers," he mutters, rather unusual considering his respect for the General and the Colonel. Must be his nerves.

(Ch. B [Lighthawk]) Seminole transmits: 'Dingo, find out what they want.'.

Rick Morgan blinks and glances towards the monitors as well at Twila's words, arching an eyebrow. "Wonder what the heck they want?" he grunts.

Twila Peterson questions, "Should...I go out as well or remain monitoring?"

<Donachi Dist.> Defender Dingo watches as Colonel and General, and idly wonders if X paid their RF bill yet...
Screen> X groans slightly... watching with stunned eyes. He looks to Vile... his eyes wide... before looking in the Direction that Sigma fled. "This just... makes /no/ sense..." X' back is still heavily dented... he barely able to even move with such a blow. His gaze then /snaps/ to Vile as he collapses, the Vile Cannon exploding... "... O... k..."

Then alarms begin to blare in X's head... the enhanced Energy Signature radar going off... The Hunter Seeker drones. He calls to Blues as well as giving a whistle... the Ruby Rover and Blue Bird of Kicking Aft flying to his side from where they have been dealing with Sigma's puppy. "Proto Man! Lets get out of here."

(Ch. B [Dragonfire]) Rock transmits: '... They are?'.

<Donachi Dist.> Guts Man says, "Come on you cheap hunters! Give us some lint!"

<Donachi Dist.> Colonel glances at General at the same time that the larger of the two hat wearers looks down at himself, stepping forward moments later to 'take the honors', as it were. With his usual brisk pace, he strides forward with heavy clanks of his feet, his stance as firm as his face, which as usual is rather.. bleak, emotionless, controlled. Striding to a halt, he draws himself up to his full height, arms crossed neatly upon his massive chestplate.

"Despite the fact that Light Labs is indeed private property, the city of Neo Tokyo falls under Repliforce jurisdiction like the rest of the world.." Except South Africa, but that will change very, very soon. "It is hereby requested that your reasons for being here are stated, along with whether or not you're actually welcome here, which is to be confirmed by one of the residents of this establishment. Now."

(Ch. B []) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Yes...'.
(Ch. B [Dragonfire]) Rock transmits: '... Tell them... I will be back soon... *Rock's voice is weak... and a painful cough comes from him* Lets get out of here, Brother.'.
(Ch. B [None]) Blues transmits: 'I'm on my way.'.

<Donachi Dist.> Guts Man eyes Colonel, "Shut up you! This is my old home! I'll come visit the family whenever I want! And they owe me some lint!"

General sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "Ms. Peterson ... Are you about?"

You send a tightbeam radio transmission to General: "Indeed I am. Command Center. I've alerted the others of your presence."

General sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "I am ... Very sorry to hear that. How did the battle fair?"

You send a tightbeam radio transmission to General: "He was injured. Not quite certain how badly. However, from the looks of things...*Vile* was the one who saved Rock."

<Donachi Dist.> Defender Dingo rolls his eyes, "I've been tryin' to tell these blokes that we have no bloomin' lint to give them, save what I just gave Ditz earlier," he points at the discharged Blue-Green thingy, "So, could you tell them to just bloody leave?"

<Donachi Dist.> Ditz Pinkmouse turns around again, this time to a new voice, "Oh, the Good Humor Man is back!" Sometime between now and his initial knocking, the grape has fallen off his head fortunately. "Hi!" he says, completely ignoring whatever Colonel was talking about, not understanding a word of it. "But we come here lots and they always give us lint. Is this a bad time? Are you low on lint today? Maybe tomorrow would be better?"

<Donachi Dist.> "It's best you come back later, mate," Dingo tells Ditz, before looking at Guts, "And no, Roll doesn't keep the lint."

<Donachi Dist.> General quietly observes the situation while crossing his immense arms over the expanse of his chest. His focus grows up Light Labs as he holds a quiet radio conversation. He has his own reason for being here, or else he would not have come. The Repliforce soldiers stationed about the area look up as the argument grows, but they remain relaxed and wait. Their sole duty is to escort - no further unless ordered. As Twila's reply reaches him, though, the expression of his face descends into a hidden frown and he responds in turn.

Seminole continues watching the exterior camera, quirking an optic behind his visor as Protoman arrives. This won't be pretty. He glances briefly at Twila as they exchange radio transmissions, seeming to relax as he assumes Rock must be relatively safe. He's alive, anyway, and confident he'll be back.

<Donachi Dist.> Ditz Pinkmouse turns to Dingo, "Thats not true! She gave me lint last time, she must have some! Maybe you're just trying to keep an engendered species from repeopleing the planet!"

<Donachi Dist.> A crimson column descends through the sky, slamming into the ground in front of light labs. As it disapates, 2 brothers can be seen. Blues

Twila Peterson breathes a sigh of relief as Rock and Blues finally return. She stands up and heads towards the Grav Lift. "I'm going out there..." she states. She'll probably end up heading to the medbay soon enough as is. Thank goodness it's prepped, as always, for any patients...

<Donachi Dist.> Defender Dingo furrows his brows together, "Look, bloke," he says almost patiently, "We're not. The lint here is right there." He points again to that thing. "You probably copy it several times until you get your lint. Plus, if you leave now," He holds out a Celebrity Head. In particular, Charles Barkley's head, "You get this yummy Carmel Celebrity Head."

<Donachi Dist.> Colonel is not in a good mood. But how can you tell, with his face as immobile as ever? It's probably got something to do with the fact that he's not in good humor, and hence not the Good Humor Man. His wrist... slowly cocks inward towards his body, taking on the tell-tale appearance of a swordsman. "The chances of you gaining anything from this visit other than a swift return to the Wilystar- possibly in pieces, possibly not- are quite slim, Robot Master." He takes note of Ditz Pinkmouse's seemingly on-ging relationship with the Robot Master. They must be associates. "This is private property, and you causing a disturbance. Depart."

(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: 'I am back, Twila... In front of the Labs... ow...'.
(Ch. C [Twila]) Rock transmits: '*weakly* Hey, I'm fine... Just smack Guts Man into next month... please?'.

<When Twila arrives outside regardless...>

Donachi Business District - Neo Tokyo

The younger of the two... the Blue Bomber... is laying apon the ground with Blues leaning over him. Rock is... the more battered of the two. His back is heavily dented, looking unnatural and very painful... a human's spinal Column would be shattered by such a look. As it is... Rock can barely even move, bringing up a snow white hand and covering his mouth, black Mechfluid leaking through his fingers as his eyes tighten in pain. On his back as well is a dark scorch mark... Rock is /defianatly/ messed up...

Guts Man eyes Colonel, "Hey! This property is going to be ne when the old man croaks, haven't you ever heard of an inheritance?"

(Ch. C [Marines]) Colonel transmits: '.. If that's how I think it is, General, I'd suggest we get these Masters on their way ASAP.'.
(Ch. C [RM-MAV-MH-RF-Joint]) Blues transmits: 'We can handle our own turff, Repliforce.'.
(Ch. C [Twila]) Rock transmits: '*cough* That... would be... appreciated... And Bro... It's all right.'.

General takes heed of the beam arriving, eyes lifting slightly. He frowns even further at this and, bowing his head slightly, suddenly rumbles out with enough force to quake the buildings, "ENOUGH! Robot Masters, /SILENCE/!" His gaze falls heavily upon them after he speaks, the same shifting to focus upon Rock. He says nothing at first, but calmly approaches with a step or so and states, "Rock ... I do pray that you are well in spirit despite your current condition. I had come with every intent to speak with you, but that can verily be delayed ..." He looks to the growing conflict briefly, but gives no more than a solemn nod of approval, responding to a message.

(Ch. C [None]) Conduit transmits: 'Something going on Sir?'.
(Ch. C [MH-RF]) General transmits: 'Do as you will, Colonel ... Drive them out in good order, but spare the city. The Master, Guts Man, does enjoy breaking things. We would not that you be bothered, Hunters -- tend to Mega Man.'

Twila Peterson exits out of the front entrance letting out a sigh as she sees one group of visitors with Dingo, a second consisting of Repliforce, and a third consisting of the injured Hunter Commander and his brother. She the General and the Colonel a polite nod as she reaches the Blue Bomber. "You should be taken inside...and stabilized..." At least before any conferences are perhaps started.

Blues .oO(This night can't get any weirder... my head hurts.)Oo.

Twila Peterson kneels by Rock and starts scanning the reploid were he is with a her device...

Seminole follows Twila out quickly, if only to carry Rock back to the medbay. He stops at the Light Labs doorway, crossing his arms over his chest and watching the Repliforce soldiers - in particular, the gumbies. Quickly doing a count of them, the officer's gaze falls back toward Rock. "You really should get back inside, sir," he says with a hint of force in his suggestion.

(Ch. C [MH-RF]) General transmits: 'We shall speak at a better time, Mega Man ... I do wish you well.'.

X looks up slowly, up and up and up to the massive figure that is the General. A smile slowly spreads on his mech-fluid stained lips. "Dont worry about me... I am alive... just... not feeling to well. I am sorry, General... if you need to speak... I can." Rock coughs again, covering his mouth as more mech-fluid leaks from between his fingers... his voice soft at he mutters. "...I think..."

Rock then looks up and towards Twila as she runs down... "Twila... It's... yes... I am all right. Nothing a several hours in the chamber wont fix..."
An order has been issued. The Colonel's arms uncross quite neatly, one dropping down to his side while the other comes up in front of him. With a flick of his wrist, his sabre ignites into the night air, a sabre to put Zero's to shame. A little ego there? "As directed, so do I proceed. Guts Man, you may recall that I informed you and all your ilk of your arrest warrants. You are hereby under arrest for the /multitude/ of crimes you have committed upon this green and blue earth, and I strongly suggest that you do not resist this time. Unless you wish, of course, to make a run for the teleporters.." He trails off then, the preferred choice clearly audible now, several paces in front of the General's gigantic form.

Ditz Pinkmouse looks around at all the new people, particularly Rock and Twila, and starts to explain the situation cause the big General and Colonel don't look happy and somebody needs to straight this out. "Hey you guys you gotta help me cause this guy *points to Dingo* says you don't have any lint and thatdoes because she already gave me some and now they don't like us and they're getting really mad..." He gasps for breath, "And now they won't give us any lint!."
General receives a radio transmission from Twila Peterson.

Dr. Thomas Light comes out of the Labs himself, the soft hiss of a hoverchair accouncing his presence. "Gentlemen, ladies, is there a problem here?"

Rock looks up and towards Dr. Light as he hovers out... smiling softly. "Dr. Light!" Rock... doesn't look well... a huge dent in his back... severely damaging his ability to move... several scorch marks and other battle scars acrost his frame

Twila Peterson erms after seeing some of the readings. "Rock...you up to walking," she questions. She furrows her brows at the sight of his back and waves Sem over to see if he could help instead. "Rock needs to be taken to the med center to get a few Band-Aids..."

Guts Man eyes Colonel, "Shut up! I'm in the middle of my redemption crisis where I pledged to gather all the lint in the world and make sure it gets off the endangered species list, thus trying to pay for all the heinous crimes I have commited in the past."

Blues .oO(First Vile, then Guts Man... maybe Bass will apologize for killing thousands of people next.)Oo.

Defender Dingo nods slowly, at Ditz's words, "I admit that, but it is mostly to get them the bloody hell away."

Dr. Thomas Light hovers forward, almost tempted to engage the Armored Mode that Quire installed in his chair, but still refuses to use it. "Oh dear.. my poor boy. Get him inside quickly." he says with a furrowed brow, as he continues towards the gathering. "Now, what else seems to be the problem?"

General smiles slightly to the battered form of Rock, his massive hand raising in salute, "Godspeed, Hunter Commander. Colonel, I am going ..." He looks over at Light as he enters and shakes his head, slowly, "I had come to speak with the Hunters, good Doctor, but the night has not blessed me with that opportunity. I shall return when Rock is in far better health ... Yet, it is of good tidings. For now, I shall withdraw as before. Repliforce, 32nd Infantry Regiment! Return to base and resume duty!" Thus said, the Repliforce soldiers turn and begin a steady trek back through the city. After all, they only came to escort.

Having finished his task, he gives a final nod to those gathered and turns, likewise beginning to walk. His steps cause the ground to tremble and heave, his optics closing in peaceful thought. He raises his face to the light, almost as if he were enjoying the night air. Either way, he goes.

Seminole turns slightly as Doctor Light exits, giving him a polite nod before his attention is diverted by Twila. He steps toward her and the Hunter Commander, offering him an arm for support. "C'mon sir, General's leaving, and you need to be repaired. Saving the world can wait a little while longer," he tells Rock with a slight grin.

You send a tightbeam radio transmission to General: "Godspeed, Sir."

General sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "And to you, Ms. Peterson."

Defender Dingo nods, as well, offering to support X as well, "Aye mate, just relax fer now and get yourself fixed up."

And so 'saving the world' is left to the Colonel, as everyone else starts to vamoosh to places unknown. There's no feeling of abandonment in the form of the XO; he can handle this. There's a question to be answered first, though, and he does so. "My apologies for this occurring on your property, Doctor, but the Robot Master here and his.. cohort.. have been pounding on your door for some time, it would appear, in search of something called.. lint?.. from your personage."

Guts Man says, "Come on Light, fork over the lint, you probably have some under that double chin of yours."

Rock looks over to the group... his eyes narrowing slightly at Gutsmen. He calls out first. "Bro! Help Colonel get rid of Guts, would you? I am just tired of all this weirdness..."

Rock then looks to the others, first to Twila... "I would like to be... I don't think my legs would co-operate..." As if to prove this... Rock attempts to and can only move them a few inches. Rock then looks to General, nodding. "Godspeed, General... I am sorry I am not very... presentable at the moment..." Rock winces slightly... looking to Dr Light... "I... Ok, Dr. Light..." Rock then looks up to

Seminole and Defender, nodding and reaching up to grip both their arms... dragging himself up slowly by upper body strength alone... wincing as he does, barely able to hold on... "Little... bit more help here..."

Twila Peterson moves herself into a standing position. Before turning to head inside she whispers, "Sem....he'll hafta be fully carried. " She then says at more normal tones while climbing up the steps, "I'll meet you inside..."

Screen> Seminole does his best to keep Rock propped up with his arms, but it's not as easy as it seems. Sighing to himself, he simply scoops up the Hunter Commander with both his arms and walks calmly toward the Light Labs exit. "Watch your head, sir," he warns while moving through the door.

Screen> Rock is scooped up by Seminole, and indeed, he watches his head. "Thanks, Seminole..." As much as it may be embarrasing to be carried like that... he couldnt make it alone...

(Ch. B [Dragonfire]) Rock transmits: 'Remind me next time... /not/ to fight Sigma 1 on 1... Ow...'.

(Ch. B []) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Don't fight Sigma 1 on 1'.

(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'That help?'.
(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: '... Yes, actualy.'.

<Once In...>

Medical Bay <Hunter HQ>

Twila Peterson is already turning on some of the equipment, making sure it's all prepped and the monitors all on, careful not to bumb into the medicine trays beside her. When she's done she steps back...awaiting the patient.

Seminole carries Rock in both his arms, rather easily considering his size compared to the Hunter CO. He briskly strides to the prepared bed, then gently sets Rock down on it. He then steps back, speaking quietly, "I'm going to help Colonel and Dingo now, sir, but call if you need anything." He gives Twila a polite nod, then heads back for the corridor.

Rock is carried over the threshold by Seminole, His Hero! Anyway... Rock grins up to Seminole, nodding. "Please, Seminole... I will... Take care of yourself and get Guts away as peacefully as possible... Make sure Dr. Light isn't hurt." Rock then looks over to Twila, weakly smiling and looking quite hurt... especially with the mech fluid staining his cheek... "Hi... Can I get my Band-Aid pwease?"

Twila Peterson is already stepping in front of Rock, gently turning him over to his side with the help of a drone orderly so she has more of an access to his back, realizing the pain signals his pain reception system are shooting off must be horrendous. Before doing anything more she reaches over and makes some disconnections. His motor skills within his legs may be nil about now...and he may feel numb...but he doesn't need the extra stress the pain was shooting to his other systems. "Working on it," she quips with a warm smile. A gloved hand whipes some of the mech fluid from his cheek and then gently moves him back onto his...back. "That help any?" ske questions, obtaining other tools to get started on his primaries. With care Twila opens some panels within his broken chest armor to have a looksee inside...

Rock gives a slow sigh as Twila flips the disconnections that cause the pain receptors to go silent... numbing his body... a deep, relieved sigh coming from him... "Ahh... much better..." Then Rock nods as his lips are wiped clean, smiling softly up to Twila... "Thanks, Twila... But... maybe Sigma will be... to upset at Vile... to hurt anyone." Rock sighs. "Sigma... and I... arn't finished yet..." Rock just closes his eyes, his chest being opened easily for Twila to peek in... He is battle scarred and dented, and despite the scorch marks and heavy dent caused by Sigma's leg... Rock is just lays there... his body numb. He replays the events in his mind... before speaking softly. "Why would Vile help me...? ... Or was that Vava?"

Twila Peterson shakes her head as she trails one particular line of damage and stress it right to help his secondary repair systems. She may be awhile at this...but at least some of the basics will be out of the way soon enough. "I don't know. It's hard to tell with those two...if there is even two. There were accounts that 'Vile' himself was dead. But, you know how the media is with making snap judgments," she replies. She then snags a quarter-sized line and snaps it into his side, then flips on the control at the terminal near her. Soon after several lights light up inside, announcing his repair is fully up and running. "Sigma sure seemed surprised in either case." Speaking of which. "Rock, I knew why you did what you did...I know coming from someone who's been a civie until a few months ago may sound lame, but please don't rush off like that again. It could have easily been a trap."

Rock leans back, his eyes closed and face calm. If he wasn't so numbed... he would be in a good deal of pain still. He nods slowly... sighing as he feels Twila's hands working and helping repair him... "Thanks... love..." Rock opens his eyes, looking up to her and then nods. "True... He might be... I am not sure..." Rock then leans back, closing his eyes as he feels her continue to work on him. "I know, Twi... I know... Blues was there... and could have. Maybe he'll will be to distracted to take vengeance..."

Twila Peterson reaches up with a cloth and cleans some of the grease and debris from his features before continuing. Then gently kisses his now cleaned forehead. "Just rest, for right now, kay? Plenty of time to be concerned about that when you're well."

Rock nods slowly, smiling. "All right, Twila...I will see you... in the morning..."
