Main Courtyard - RHQ

This is the expansive Courtyard just outside the front entrance of the towering Headquarters of Repliforce. The Headquarters itself stretches fairly high into the sky, massive in size and bulk as the metal mostrosity looks nearly impregnable, the smooth and well designed outside concealing some very nasty weaponry within. In the courtyard, there are plants and trees growing everywhere in separate gardens, with metal walkways patterning their way around the plants and trees. The middle of the courtyard opens up into a vast and bare area before leading up a short flight of metal steps that lead inside the Headquarters. Usually, at any given time, you can find Reploids wandering the gardens, or maintenance drones taking care of anything that needs pruning or cleaning.

Twila Peterson is sitting under one of the large oaks of the coutyard speaking into her radio that Rock had given her.

(Ch. A) Twila Peterson transmits: '*tap-tap* Um...hello? Rock, you there? This is Twila.'.

(Ch. A) Rock transmits: 'Twila!! *he pauses to try and settle down a bit* Whatcha need? You're not in trouble are you? Do you need help? Are you alright? *you can hear him slaphimself . o (Settle down Rock)* Anything I can do for you?'. (Ch. A) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Um...uh... yeah. Yeah, I'm alright. I didn't mean to startle you. You did say this channel was open just to talk...that it wasn'y needed for just emergencies. I just wanted to say hi.'.

(Ch. A) Rock transmits: 'Yeah, sorry, I'm just making sure, sorry bout that, heehee, what's up?'.

Rebound Mouse enters the base. Rebound Mouse walks as if in quite a hurry. Rebound Mouse looks to Twila, "If you decide to go to the club in San Angeles, I would advise against it...”

(Ch. A) Twila Peterson transmits: '*there's a pause followed by a sqeak of a mouse, then the noise fades* Not much. Just that your one of the few ones I call freinds right now.'.

Twila Peterson flickers a glance over towards the reploid. "Club?" she asks, blinking.

Rebound Mouse squeaks, "I bumped into Enker and Snake Man....I don't wanna be around those two for a split second." Rebound Mouse keeps heading towards the door while speaking to you, not the one want to be out in the open right now.

Twila Peterson watches the mouse go by...blinking in some alarm... Twila Peterson manages, "Enker? You sure it was him?"

Rebound Mouse 's stopped by the guards, who insist that a search be done on him if he encountered those two. Rebound Mouse says, "If it wasen't, it was a good impression of him." Rebound Mouse looks up at the guards, "Look, I'm very small...where would a search snake hide on me?"

Twila Peterson almost drops the radio from her hand. Enker? So he wasn't? Uh, oh. She gulps. "Guess...he wasn't as down as Rock thought," she sulks. "Terrific."

(Ch. A) Rock transmits: 'Aww... are you doing okay? You want me to come down there? I'm already in the neighborhood, I was checking out a few things with the reports on Enker, but I'm done now, and I don't really have anything else to report on, so i've got some free time.'.

(Ch. A) Twila Peterson transmits: 'I don't mind one bit...but...you may want to add something more to those reports... *pause* A Repliforcer ran past saying he saw Enker and Snake Man over at some club in San Angelas...'.

Rebound Mouse decides he does not wanna be taken apart and searched, so he heads back the otherway, "Don't go to San Angeles......they might be waiting there for you."

(Ch. A) Rock transmits: '*grumble* Well then I'm going to have to pay him a little visit later then...'. (Ch. A) Rock transmits: 'But in the meantime, I'll be there in a few, don't run off, heehee.'.

Rebound Mouse has left.

Twila Peterson nods slowly towards the mouse, eyes widened. "Yeah, guess I won't be moving out as soon as I hoped..." She looks back at her radio. Sheesh, what would happen if the world heard the Commander of the Hunters giggle like a schoolboy?

(Ch. A) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Heh. I'll be in the courtyard.'.

(Ch. A) Rock transmits: 'Uhm... I might be a little late... there's a mouse wanting to speak with me...'.

(Ch. A) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Must be Rebound. He's the one who rushed by about the other two. Hmm...would you rather I wait outside or just stay in for now?'.

(Ch. A) Rock transmits: 'I'd really feel better if you stayed inside, especially now that I know Enker's back out and about...'.

(Ch. A) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Gotcha.'.

Rock enters the base. Rock zips into the area on his hoverboard, and suddenly hops off, kicking it up all fancy like and catching it in his hands a few feet from Twila, he smiles as he approaches, "Hiya!" he spouts out emphatically.

Twila Peterson is sitting under a large oak tree close to, but not exactly, the center of the couryard, resting her back against the back of the tree and idly toying with the grass with her fingers. She perks up when he makes his rather sudden enterance and and moves to stand up. "Hi." So that's the hoverboard of doom... ;)

Rock grins, "Just a sec." he steps back a few feet and hovers up, surrounded in that fancy dancy blue cylander of light and reappearing in a set of casual clothes, his hoverboard also gone as well. Rock transforms into Casual Rock.

Twila Peterson tilts her head as he makes the change. "Feel better?"

Rock nods, "Wanted to get out of the official stuff." he smiles.

Twila Peterson comments as she seats herself back down unless Rock himself gestures he would like to go elsewhere. "Certainly looks differnt than a suit and tie. But I gather it's no less differnt."

Rock sits down indian style in front of Twila, "Hee, yeah you could say that." he smiles, switching his look to a bit of concern, "Are you alright?"

Twila Peterson leans back against the tree's bark. "Other that finding out a certain Master is obviously back in working order and a Repliforcer is trying to hurry me out of here as quick as he can, I'm...fine," she answers with sarcasm sheard slightly around the edges. "One of the RFers asked if I ever learned just *why* Enker was interested in me and I told them what Enker told me. Guess some are getting somewhat suspicious now about me being here."

Rock frowns, "That's not very fair... I hope some of them took up for you."

Twila Peterson offers, "Lunar did. Actually, it was his cousin that voiced his concerns."

Rock sighs, "I'm sure that's the last thing you wanted to have to deal with especially just know finding out about Enker being back up and a bout."

Twila Peterson doesn't comment about the others present...mostly because nothing was much really stated by the bystanders. "Not really, I guess I can understand somewhat where they may be coming from -- by way of security. But I would think they would notice that if I were anything at all like *that* I certainly wouldn't blab about it."

Rock nods, "Well I guess I can see where they're coming from." he rubs his chin, "Have you found a place to stay yet?"

Twila Peterson replies, "One of the staffers was with me at a terminal, going through several options by way of apartments. I at least have some options narrowed down if nothing else. Seems a little like I'm wearing out my welcome here." Tho not by all. She'll certainly miss the wolf as well as little Ryu of course.

Rock nods, "Well if you need a place to stay, you can stay in my room at Light Labs. I can always use Blues’ room."

Although, if Enker and Snake man were found in San Angelas...Twi's not too sure she feels safe leaving yet. But something has to be done about her arrang---huh? She blinkblinks, suprised. "At your place?"

Rock ers, "I'm sorry if that's going to far, just thought I'd offer it, it wouldn't be any problem with the rest of the hunters."

Twila Peterson flickers a glance back to the enterance of the massive base just ahead abd around them. "I'll...keep it in mind if...you don't think it would an hassle." After all, it seems like someone's wanting to shuffle her out of this place already.

Rock shakes his head, "It wouldn't be any hassle at all... although I do admit i'd probably need to tidy up a bit, I haven't had a chance to clean it up since the last time Rush and Tango got in there." he chuckles.

Twila Peterson ers, "Tango?"

Rock smiles, "My sisters robo-cat, or as I like to call him, the Rolling Furball of Doom." he chuckles, "Rush has a tendancy to chase him around."

Twila Peterson's eyes flash with a brief momnt of mischiviousness. "Whatever happened with names like Rover and Tabbey?

Rock snickers, "I dunno, ask Dad, I have no idea what's with the musical theme, I kinda like it tho, gives us more of a family feeling."

Twila Peterson chuckles. "I did somewhat pick up on it. Must be some sort of interest."

Rock shrugs, "Must be." he says with a smile, and uncrosses his legs, planting his hands behind him as he stretches out a bit.

Twila Peterson regards Rock silently for a moment. "What's it like living there?" She can't ask him to compare. He probably wouldn't know how to size it up against a human family.

Rock hrms, "Well aside from the actual work part, it's really like a big giant family so to speak." he smiles, "Last few days all of the femmes have been going out to shop and coming back competing with each other, it's funny."

Shopping must be an all-encompassing female trait then. "Competeing?" she asks.

Rock nods and chuckles, "They come back, showing off all their new clothes and whatnot, trying to impress the guys and get the other girls jealous, I usually just nod and smile."

Twila Peterson breaks out into a smile of her own. "See no evil, speak no evil, feel no pain?" she teases. True what they say. 'Hell hath no fury...' There's an unseen grin at the thought. "And what have you been up too. No more modeling any outfits?"

Rock gives Twila a playful scowl, "No, no more modeling for this little blue boy." he smiles, "I've been trying to get more info on Zero's kidnapping and the situation on Enker. Aside from that, not much other than... well... thinking about you." he manages to muster out somewhat shyly.

Twila Peterson looks down at the grass bashfully. "Been...thinking about you too," she lets slip up, then blinks - startled that she did. She glances back up towards Rock after a moment's pause. "Been able to find anything to help your friend?"

Rock blinks and blushes as well, trying to regain his composure, "Well... not really... but I've got one of my best working on the case." he suddenly thinks to himself . o O (Rock, you're talking about the same girl who was intent on solving the mystery of what kind of coffee we needed to buy because we ran out) he then adds, "She's a little ditzy, but she's good at snooping around for clues, and she always gives it her all."

Twila Peterson offers, "I certainly hope something is found for Zero's sake. I do recall you mentioning he was your best friend."

Rock nods, "He is, it just hasn't really been the same around the base without him..." he chuckles, "Sometimes he's the biggest pain in my rear, but it's times like this I realize just how important he was to me, on the job and off it."

"Usually people only seem to relize those things when the other person isn't round," Twila states. "Sounds as if he keeps you alert like a good friend should."

Rock nods, and smiles, "But we'll get him back, we've gone through worse, which I'm hoping won't be hte case this time."

"I'm pretty sure you will, " the woman attempts to reassure.

Rock smiles at Twila, "Thanks, it means a lot to hear you say that." He gazes off into her eyes, before catching himself and blushing a bit again.

Twila Peterson finds herself liking the reploid as well, regardless of the fact that they are two seperate species. But her recent encouters with Shiru are leaving her a tad somewhat confused as well. In preperation she bites her lower lip, trying to ask him tactfully, in some way, without coming off as offensive. "Mind...if I ask you a question?"

Rock nods with a smile, "Sure, hit me with your best shot."

Twila Peterson tries to reformulate the question within her mind a few times before actually asking it. "The friend of mine that you helped bring back after he fought with Enker, Shiru, he tried convincing me that reploids were merely machines and all their emotions were man-made. Not their own. But, I've seen differntly. I...can't help but be a bit confused."

Rock shakes his head, and looks her straight in the eye, "He was wrong," he states flatly, and says, "I'm proof that he's wrong." he pauses for a bit, trying to search for the right words. Rock stands up, feeling the need to use body language. Rock looks down at at Twila, "I'll give you a small rundown of our 'race' so to speak."

Twila Peterson blinks and watches the reploid get to his feet. After a momentary lapse she nods. "Alright..."

Rock looks off a bit, "Blues, or Protoman as he's more commonly known, was the first of the androids, built by my father. He remains an android still, and as such, has a few 'prime directives' that limit a few of the things he can do. But aside from those very few things, he is totally sentient, in every meaning of the word..."

Twila Peterson tucks her legs to her chest, loosly holding them as she listens.

Rock looks back down at Twila, "I, was the second." he pauses, "Before the Robot Master Insurrection... I spent most of my time learning, and growing... those are the only times that we were really a complete family. Blues, myself, Roll, and Dad. I miss those days a lot, but I know that there's no use in dwelling on the past..." he pauses a bit before continuing.

Twila Peterson offers a silent nod, indicating he has her full attention. Sounds vastly differnt to hear Rock tell it than what she had been instructed by her parents upon growing up. She's already seen somethings which shatter some of their beliefs however. "I'm listening," she says quietly.

Rock holds his arms out, and uses them as he talks, "When the reploid was born, a whole new way of life opened up for many robots. They had complete sentience, while we have a basic personality matrix, it has the ability to learn, and feel. Reploids don't have redetermined personalities, they are learned and developed. While we may have suggestions implanted from the getgo, our ultimate outcome is up to us, and us alone..." he pauses, "When I was rebuilt as a reploid, a whole new world opened up for me... I learned many new things, but something I've always known, even when just an android, was how to care, how to be a friend, and how to love..." he looks down a bit, and then away to the side once more, "It was love that drove Sigma mad... his love for Iris, and the humans apparent lack of compassion for her when she was kidnapped, drove him over the edge... and with the help of Doppler's Maverick Virus, it twisted a once great hero... into the monster that we now must protect the innocent from..." Rock pauses to take a deep 'breath' before continuing. Rock looks back down at Twila, as he kneels down next to her, "So you see... we -do- have free thought... we -can- learn... we -can- form bonds... and... we -can- fall in love..." with that, he just sorta looks off, as he sits back down. Rock shrugs, "So what Shiru told you, was either something that is specific to only him, or he is in denial... or he's making excuses." Rock says, "Or, he may just be ignorant to the life that was given to him."

Twila Peterson is mute for a short time, inwardly digesting what she had just been told. "I'm sorry," she says, breaking the silence. "I didn't mean to be offensive in anyway. I...just really didn't know." As for Shiru, Twila's quickly becoming convinced that it's either denial or he *is* making excuses. In any of the above scenerios, it is his loss and his alone. "I remember teeling you once that I was a bit sheltered growing up. Some of what you tod me I knew...but certainly not all of it."

Rock nods, and reassures, "Nothing you've ever said was offensive, Twila. It's all genuine curiosity, and I take nothing but joy in helping you understand it all. Anything that will make you feel more comfortable is good in my book."

Twila Peterson eases at that, greatful she hadn't caused any undo harm for asking. "Thanks. My parents had...taught me differntly at the time when all this was happening and kept me away from most of it...and whatever developed."

Rock nods, "It doesn't suprise me... a lot of people blamed us for a lot of the problems we have nowadays, and it's true." Rock sighs, "Dad never intending on building machines of destruction... but he also didn't expect Wily to go wacko..."

"Actually," the woman notes, focusing on the grass by her feet, "they blamed humans. They never did like any form of high technology...even when it might have been the only way to have a child of their own. They felt we were 'pushing the limits' so to speak in trying to 'play God'. So, they believed humanity was just being paid back for it’s crimes. And then when the Mavericks emerged...we moved to a settlement up in Montana. Segregation from society for a little while."

Rock nods silently, as it's now his turn to listen.

Twila Peterson rests her chin on her knees, for a moments, slowly blinking, before pulling herself back up again. However, her focus remains downward. "I'm...sure I don't need to go into what Mavericks would have done if they ever found a human settlement based on segregation from a reploid filled society."

Rock nods silently, placing a reassuring hand on Twila's for a moment, giving a slight squeeze, "No... no you don't... I've had to witness it..." Rock shakes his head, "I've never... ever... seen anything more horrifying..."

Twila Peterson retains her calmness, offering a slight pressure of her hand of her own accord. But there are bare hints that its strained by her posture. "That's...how my parents were killed."

Rock blinks, "I..." he gasps for words... "I'm sorry... I had no idea..."

Twila Peterson reshifts her weight, maintaining that same edge of calmness. She lifts her gaze, revealing some of the strain is still there. But here eyes appear somehow shadowed. "That's when I lost 'Princecess' to, the cocker spanial I commented about." Starnge how a small dog thought he could take on a run-a- muck machine. She shrugs to that, not callously. But dealing the best she can. "I fgured since you told me where you came from..."

Tai Panda arrives from the Entrance Foyer - RHQ. Rebound Mouse limp crawls into the area, his body dented and battered all across the front and his left ear has been torn up.

Rebound Mouse 's more than likely heading down the main pathway, then he finally musters the will to squeak out, "Rock!"

Rock nods as he looks at Twila, "That's horrible..." he sighs looking off for a while, "We should've been there... I should've been there... -someone- should've been there..."

Rock turns around to look at the direction of his name being called, he turns back to Twila, patting her hand, "I'm sorry... I'll be right back..."

Twila Peterson states, "There was some form of communication I'm sure. But,---" she blinkblinks as the reploid gets called away. There is a belated nod followed by a quiet gaze looking fo to where he headed off to.

Rebound Mouse looks like he's been tossed in a grain thresher and survived, in addition to the other damage he's sustained it looks like somebody wrapped something heavy around his torso and squeezed it till his cover had heavy dents in it.

Rock stands up, he's dressed in his casual clothes, but, even despite that, he's still a sucker for helping people out. How Rebound learned his real name is sort of a mystery to Rock since he thought most repliforcers knew him only by X, but he disregards it as just a stupid personal misconception.

Tai Panda's attention is also diverted as she hears the Repliforcer squeal out the Maverick Hunters name. Frowning, she's rather disappointed in the fact that Rebound Mouse is calling out the name of X, instead of the many qualified Repliforcer medics, especially when directly outside headquarters. She strides confidently over, a rather hurried stride, although not fast enough to acquire running status.

Rock arrives over by Rebound and kneels down, "Are you alright little guy?" he then notices Tai approaching, and stands up, nodding, taking a step back, knowing it's more her place to help him than his.

Rebound Mouse looks over to Rock, "I was.....spyin on Enker, and I found out he's hiding something in the...."

Rock blinks as Rebound says the magic name, he kneels back down, "Huh?"

The young woman hoists herself to her feet after patting down some of her unintentionally dredged up emotions abnd begins to approach the small group.

From afar, Enker just told Snakes to 'deal with him'. I certainly don't tell him -how- to deal with him. ;)

Rebound Mouse squeaks, "By the harbor....he reached into a dumpster and pulled out a keycard."

Rock nods, and pats him lightly, "Thanks little guy... you get yourself to the repair bay... you look like you need it... thanks for the info."

Tai Panda hrms and kneels down near the Repliforcer. Pulling out her datapad, she scans asks for the Repliforcers name. Once received, she places it into her small computer as it outputs information on the reploid, however only enough a Segeant is able to receive. Casting a slight glance a X, she doesn't mind his presence, and is glad with the help. She returns to reading her DP and frowns. She then looks at Rebound Mouse with an inquisital glance and says, "Repliforce Unit Member Files tell me that you're an specialist in the area of bombs, especially in disposing them. What were you doing spying on Robot Master units, especially without notifying myself, Lunar Wolf, or Slash Beast?"

Twila Peterson stops her gait and stands off to the side, merely observing.

Rebound Mouse groans weakly, "Oooh....that repair by gives me the creeps, seeing too many damaged reploids there...guess I'm among them now." Rebound Mouse muttes something about snake man trying to eat him before getting to weak to respond.

Rock stands back up and takes a few steps back, trying to get out of the way, not wanting to be a nuisance, he's not even really supposed to be here.

Twila Peterson stands a little closer to Rock and beds within his direction slightly. You whisper 'What happened?' to Rock.

Rock whispers: 'He was spying on Enker and got attacked...'. Rock shakes his head, muttering quietly, "Enker is really going out of his way to lower his tolerance level..."

Tai Panda frowns at the lack of a response and is rather unimpressed with the Repliforcers performance. The Special Forces Unit sergeant rises to her feet and looks sympathetically towards the reploid, however she is still rather annoyed with the lack of skill shown today. Brushing a few strands of hair that has fallen into her face, she quickly places it behind her left ear and turn to X. Radioing command center, Tai relays the information of what has happened, and nods as a reponse comes through. She then says, "I am sorry to interrupt your previous conversation with this Civilian," she waves a hand towards Twila, obviously talking about her, "But do you think you could assist me in bringing this reploid into the head quarters?"

Twila Peterson's features offer an almost visible 'oh'. And this was the mouse who told *her* to stay clear of that particular area. Hmmm...ok. "Certainly didn't waste too much time after the repair table," she sulks.

Rock erms "Well, yeah, sure." he says sorta apprehensively, darn that silly honor and sense of duty.

Tai Panda smiles, "Thanks. This shouldn't take long." Her deamenor quickly changes as she says, "All we have to do is haul this reploids carcass to the repair bay." She almost snarls, but stops herself before she does.

Rock nods, "No worries." he turns to Twila, "I'll be back in just a sec."

Twila Peterson nods in like. "I'll be here," she promises before heading back towards that tree.

Rock leans over and grabs Rebound by the legs as Tai picks him up by the arms. Tai Panda nods as she helps Rock haul Rebound into the base, lifting him up by his arms.

Twila Peterson retakes her seat over by the oak, watching the procession back within base.

Tai Panda and have left.

<After not much time has passed...>

Rock walks back into the area, looking a tad exasperated, and sighs a bit, but immediately lightens up as he eyes Twila and walks back over to her, sitting back down, "I'm really sorry about that..."

Twila Peterson is still sitting underneath the oak within her orginal spot. She forces a grin as the reploid returns. "A Hunter Commander's work is never done?"

Rock nods and sighs, "You got it." Be smiles, "But, with luck that's the only interruption we'll have the rest of the night."

Twila Peterson perks an eyebrow, putting aside some of the more serious discussion from earlier obviously. "Hopefully you just didn't jinx it," she says with a wink.

Rock smiles slightly, "Let's hope so."

Twila Peterson does feel a little awkward tho after opening herself up the way she did. But she tries not to let it show. "Anyway, since you shared where you come from I just...thought maybe I would to." If anything, to understand the other a little more.

Rock nods, and smiles, "I'm really honored you felt that I was entitled to know... I'm sure it's hard to talk about..."

Twila Peterson bobs her head shyly. "It is," she admits, "but I thought it best if you know. I am beginning to see where my parents were a bit...wayward within some of their thinking. But, I'm still there daughter too.." She trails off as if not exactly knowing what she ment by that herslf.

Rock nods, "And I hope I never make you feel like you aren't..." Rock looks Twila in the eyes, "The last thing I want to do, is hurt you in any way... So if I ever do, or just make you uncomfortable or anything at all, just let me know..."

Twila Peterson returns the reploid's gaze and dips her chin once as if in answer. "I somehow doubt you will."

Rock nods silently, at a loss for words, yet again.

Twila Peterson falls silent as well.

Rock looks up, "Twila?" he manages to force out of himself.

Twila Peterson directs her attention back to her companion. "Yes?"

Rock erms and figets, "I.." he chokes, and looks away, shaking his head, "Nevermind."

Twila Peterson prods gently. "What is it?"

Rock erms and figets some more, "It's... it's nothing..." he pauses . o O (Some brave hero you are...)

Twila Peterson regards him quietly as he goes about figeting. As before she's struck by a thought within the back of her mind. o O(And I thought *I* was the one who was shy...)O o . "You alright?"

Rock nods, "Yeah yeah, I'm perfectly alright," he says with a smile. Rock gulps.

Twila Peterson flickers a glance at the grass and then states, "I...like you alot too."

Rock blinks, "How did you..." He nearly faints.

Twila Peterson offers a small shrug in response as if it didn't really matter just *how* she knew. She just did.

Rock tries desperately to regain his composure. Rock finally chuckles lightly, "Who would've thought... me... leader of a group of elite defence force... unable to muster up the courage to say something so obvious..." He rubs the back of his head.

Twila Peterson pulls herself away from the tree a little and then resettles herself on the ground, hands within her lap. "Hey, when you go against Masters or Mavericks you don't exactly have to actually talk alot to them."

Rock smiles as he half dips his head down, looking up at Twila, "Good point." he fiddles with his hands a bit, sorta unsure of what to say or do next.

Twila Peterson is uncertain as well. She sits there with her hands within her lap, gazing towads the Hunter, smiling. Noting how nervous he seems to be, she's left wondering if there was anything she could do to lesson it, and hopes her own nervousness isn't showing too much.

Rock finally breaks the standoff, and stands up, reaching out a hand to Twila.

Twila Peterson extends her own hand as she starts to get to his feet, her fingers gliding into his palm.

Rock helps her up gently and doesn't let go of her hand for a little while as he lowers his arm, he blushes a bit as he loosens his grip enough for her to pull away, feeling a bit ackward.

Twila Peterson holds his hand for a moment or so more before offering a gentle squeeze and withdrawing it slowly. "Thanks alot for coming to visit."

Rock nods, and smiles, "Anytime... thanks for inviting me. I really enjoyed it."

"So did I," she admits. "Maybe next time out of the base...maybe?" Even if it's just outside the walls. Twila really has something about these walls.

Rock nods, smiling somewhat sheepishly, "Maybe go out to dinner or something? Or maybe to a park or the beach?" he says, as he suddenly notices that the sun is rising, he smiles, "Hey, look." he pauses, "Absolutely breathtaking..."

Twila Peterson looks over where thr reploid is gesturing. "It is," she muses. "Been awhile since I stayed up long enough to see the sunrise."

Rock nods, "I don't think my eyes have ever been privvy to seeing such a captivating scene..." Hey look, Rock spouted off a compliment, finally! Not exactly a direct compliment, but he's trying here.

Twila Peterson smiles. She's careful not to do any real assuming here so...she doesn't. "It is. And someone to share it with."

Rock nods, "I'm just having a hard time... trying to figure out... which one of the two is more beautiful." he squeezes out . o O (Come on Rock... stop being so sheepish)

Twila Peterson's cheeks blush. She raises a hand to her face and smiles.

Rock sighs as he looks at his chronometer, "I.. have to go..."

Twila Peterson lowers her hand and nods quietly. "I...understand."

Rock reaches out and takes her hand and squeezes it lightly, "If you need me, just radio me. I'll try and come visit again tommorrow, but with Enker being out and about again... I may have a bit of work I'll have to take care of."

Twila Peterson returns the gentle pressure. "I understand that too," she bids. "Godspeed, Rock."

Rock nods, "And to you as well Twila." he takes a few steps away, not letting go until their arms are almost perpendicular to the ground, he releases her hand gently, "Until we meet again..." he hovers up and is surrounded in his spiff blue cylander of clothes changing, and reappears in his Megaman armor. Rock transforms into Megaman and departs....
