--------------------------------------------

Donachi Business District - Neo Tokyo
This is the economic heart of Neo Tokyo and a great deal of the world. It is within these few square kilometers that corporate empires rise and fall, deals determining the fate of the world's commerical enterprises are made, and where the greatest commercial structure ever created dwarfs everything around it, the Stratoscraper. This immense building is so tall that aerospace technology had to be applied to maintain the building's atmosphere near the top, while the foundation below bores deep into the planet's crust. Around the base of this building are the smaller, though by no means small themselves, skyscrapers that house the headquarters of countless corporations and globe-spanning enterprises. The city has reached so far into the sky here that special public transports race up and down between suspended platforms that connect many of the buildings. Floating food vendor booths drift to and from specialized airlocks on the side of the buildings, and the lights from various holographic ad signs reflect from the mirrored windows.

Morph Doppelganger walks outside, in the form of Vanessa Carlyle, and stands next to Twila. "Um," she says, "Hello." She looks at Enker and then at the Clown. "I don't think we ordered any clowns...did you?" she says, looking over at Twila.

Twila Peterson exits out of the front of the Labs with who appears to be a fellow human to greet the two new arrivals, glancing at them oddly. "No...not per my knowledge." She then turns towards the other two. "You both...needing something?

David waits outside, a long wooden staff with a golden ball on one end in one hand, a cane perhaps, though surely for show, since he appears to be somewhere in his 20s. The Master's civilian disguise has changed considerably since last he met this Hunter, but given height and build, accompanied with the fact that he was Wily's left hand man at the meeting last night... There is little doubt as to just who this young man really is. He smiles briefly at Twila, or something reasonably close to a smile, though it looks rather fake. "Greetings, Hunters... Ah, Mrs. Peterson. I do not believe I am familiar with your companion, but it is a pleasant surprise to see you again... I wish to know what the Hunters are doing about our situation. We are as much their allies as the Repliforce, for the moment. My companion..." he raises his staff/cane and uses it to point at Clown Man, who lacks disguise. "Came with of his own accord."
From afar, Megaman nods

Enker:
Before you stands the man known as David Enkerman. He stands tall and proud most of the time, always tight-lipped and serious, a no-nonsense kind of a guy. Standing at 6'3", he's fairly tall for a human. His face is clean-shaven, his cold and calculating eyes blue, and the hair that falls neatly to either side from his part of a golden blond. He appears to be somewhere in his mid-to-late 20s, and most often wears a simple but impeccably tailored blue business suit with gold tie and black shoes polished to perfection. Possibly the wealthy son of some businessmen, just out of law school.

Morph Doppelganger blinks at David, recognizing him as Enker. She saw him at the meeting last night, but keeps that to herself. Instead, she looks over at Twila and says, "I don't recognize him, do you, Miss Peterson?" The woman seems a tad confused.

Twila Peterson turns to glance towards Venassa as she secretly fights to hold down her bile. This fellow, after all, was the one who actively involved her within this war after all. "Actually, yes I do," she states, narrowing her eyes somewhat towards the Master and his companion ater a lapse of a few moments as if in thought. "Enker: Elite Robot Master if I'm correct. And...Clown Man." Recognized from his profile within the database. "I...personally haven't heard much of anything since last night's events."

David nods to Twila. "You are correct of course, Miss Peterson... Forgive me if I choose not to reveal my true form for the moment, as some would prefer this deceitful exterior than think that they associate themselves with Wily. It is, after all, the reason why he gave us such disguises in the first place." Enker flashes another fake smile and continues, but with a look past Twila and to the Labs' entrance. "We also have not heard much, although our master has been working on the situation. I hope the other factions are still not wasting time on procedure and deliberations. If I might head inwards to speak with those who are more directly involved?" He inquires, underestimating the importance of a civilian such as Twila as anything more than a pawn or a source of information.

Twila Peterson shifts her weight. After darting another look towards Venassa as if asking for help in deciding what to do, she fingers for her radio. "Um...I'll ask." Although, there are others inside as well. So, she doubts they'll be denied. But, better safe than sorry. "One...moment."

(Ch. B []) Twila Peterson transmits: '*ahem* Guys...er...fellow Hunters rather since some Mavericks know that's frequency by now...two Robot Master are asking for entrance into the base.'.

Morph Doppelganger stands there, watching Enker and then over at Twila, noting her apprehension. Her alter-ego's fought Enker, and knows the danger the Elite Master represents.

(Ch. B []) Mirage transmits: 'Please don't say it's Enker...'.
(Ch. B []) Rick Morgan transmits: 'Which 2 exactly?'.
(Ch. B []) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Enker is one. I believe the other is Clown Man...'.
(Ch. B []) Mirage transmits: '*curses*, "Well..what'd Rock say about Robot
(Ch. B []) Rick Morgan transmits: 'Oh great. a real gruesome twosome. Let's see what they want first.'.
(Ch. B []) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Um...to find out if anything has been worked on since last night.'.
(Ch. B []) Rick Morgan transmits: 'For that they're gonna have to really talk to Rock himself. Or Doc Light for that matter. Heck, I thought -Wily- was supposed to be working on this just as much too.'.

Twila Peterson shifts her weight as she talks over the Hunter broadband...and makes it a point to step somewhat closer to Venessa. She...doesn't really like Enker. Nooooooooo. And despite his false charm...

(Ch. B []) Mirage transmits: 'Yeah, I don't trust Enker as far as I can throw him...'.
(Ch. B []) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Ok...that mean the Mavs at base can be thrown out? Or...guess I can't be that hopeful.'.

Enker nods to Twila and awaits the response of her companions, taking the chance to look over her companion... A pretty little thing by human standards, the type that Wily might be interested in, but Enker is a machine through and through with no attraction for the usual desired female traits.
Glamour Bunny receives a radio transmission.

Twila Peterson perks an eyebrow as the conversation continues over the radio, not able to really hide a sigh in relief. "Actually, you're...going have to talk with Rock concerning that. Or rather...shouldn't Wily be working into this directly?"

(Ch. B []) Mirage transmits: 'No...tell them to wait. Once we talk to Rock we can let them know.'.
(Ch. B []) Twila Peterson transmits: ':ttttttbts :)'.

Morph Doppelganger ahems and listens in on her radio as she hears all the transmissions. "I don't think Enker would try anything while inside the base," she says, looking at the Robot Master. "Would you?" She radios a brief message to Twila, electronically, as she does so.

Morph Doppelganger sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "Don't worry. He can't cause trouble without us getting him."

Not just her however...the others are stating somewhat of a no. Twila glances back at the building and looks towards the fouth story, trying to convery although she does feel a certain way...it's not her making the decision.

David clicks his tongue at the response, making an equal attempt to hide his disapproval. "Wily is a brilliant scientist, Miss Peterson, and although he is also an excellent diplomat, time is currently our worst opponent. I would not come here if there was not a reason for it... The doctor is occupied coming up with his own solution. Thus why I have come here myself." The disguised Master smiles again at Venessa. "Of course I would not, my lady... You have my word."

Rick Morgan steps out of the hangar doors, taking the lift down to ground level. The one beside the -really- big lift for the ride armor and other vehicles that is. As he steps out front, he flashes a quick glance in Twila's direction, before returning his attention to the Master's present. "Rock and Doc Light ain't available if you're looking for them." he states.

Twila Peterson wouldn't mind having one of the other Hunters out here to be honest. She offers a sigh. "I asked the others other the broadband who carry rank here." Well...1 is more than 0 anyway. And...they're the ones stating what I just told you. I'm not one who would be able to give or deny authorization."

Morph Doppelganger looks over at Glamour, catching the radio transmissions and then looking at the Maverick. She looks over at Twila and gives her a 'just one moment' sign and heads over to the Bunny. "Excuse me," she says, "Are you lost or something?"

Glamour Bunny blinks!? Turning around quickly and looking towards Morph.
Mirage steps outside of the base, "Twila...Morph..how are things going here?".

Twila Peterson nods quietly towards the other and holds her peace for the moment.

Glamour Bunny says, "Me...lost!? Umm....no. Not lost."

Twila Peterson blinks towards Mirage. "Um, Morph left a bit ago if you wanting him."

Morph Doppelganger smiles at Glamour and says, "Then why are you so fidgety?" She smiles a bit at the bunny, "You look rather lost to me. Would you like to come inside with us?" She offers her hand to Glamour.

Quick Man is skipping (literally skipping) through the streets, completely undisguised and flaunting these precious few moments of diplomatic immunity. He seems to be actually seeking out children and parents with children along the street. The same scene is repeated with each group - he goes up to them, gives the child a lollipop, and says something to them. Invariably, the child blinks in confusion while the parents (if any) grab hold of the kid and try to get away as fast as possible. Quick Man seems to be taking great glee in this activity.

Morph Doppelganger leans in closer. "I beg your pardon?"

Twila Peterson finally glances over towards Rick's direction and breaths another sigh of relief. Well...way to feel better relaxed anyway. Why did she offer to come out here to greet the two anyway? That...she'll never know.

David gives quick clances over to all of the new arrivals and raises an eyebrow, taking up his cane and waving it around to indicate nothing in particular. "...It seems we're in the middle of something of a party, Miss Peterson. And furthermore, your ability to grant permission is not my concern, only your ability to open the lock of this base. The Masters and the Hunters are allied at this point. I had thought you were a woman of enough intellegance to realize this from what's been going on of late... Such gruges and bickering between we two who are not presently enemies is the one thing that proves Kaiser's greatest weapon at the moment."

Glamour Bunny hmms? "Oh...nothing, just absently thinking out loud..."

Morph Doppelganger can pretty much guess. "Well, if you'd like to come inside." She offers her hand again and says, "I'm sure we can help a Reploid in need." She looks over to Twila. "Isn't that right Twila? I know the Hunters are tight on security, but we can have room for one more with all the people we're letting stay due to this crises."

Glamour Bunny nodnodnods, "Yes....like, I'll come inside.."

Clown Man shrugs. "No Problem. WE" He indicates Sideshow. "Have some toys for you if you want...as a sign of goodwill and such." Sideshow materializes teddy bears, and a baby doll in the "Just My Size" catergory. "I hope you enjoy them."
"So's loyalty." Rick interjects at Enker as he slides up beside Twila, pulling one of those Twin side by side scenes, facing the Master himself. Not that their relation is -very- common knowledge outside of their own ranks. "And we can't open those doors without Rock's permission. It's one thing to work together for the same goal, another to be visiting each others base frequently."

Twila Peterson reacts as if she's just been slapped by the Master's accusation. She mentally counts to ten. "Despite what my personal feelings and what you may think it's not my---" She cuts herself off as good ole bro moves himself beside her. A glance is thrown towards Venessa then as she comments, "That's not something I can grant for her either..." She then does a dlible take of the repliod...recognizing her from somewhere...

Morph Doppelganger smiles and looks back over at Twila, looking for a response. she frowns a bit at the response and says, "Well, I'll return later then. I'll help her find her way around." She looks down at Glamour. "Do you want to go somewhere then?" she asks, smiling brightly.

Morph Doppelganger shrugs a bit in sympathy. "I'm sorry, I can't. I'm not /really/ with them." Vanessa looks very sorry, "But how about I buy you lunch instead?" she offers, attempting to cheer up the bunny.

Twila Peterson offers Venassa a slow nod before casting another glance towards the other reploid. "Hope you find your way around..." she offers before taking one step or two closer to Rick.

Quick Man continues to work his way up the road, giving out candy and scaring small children. Finally, he reaches the scene before Light Labs, and, with a smile, puts an arm around Clown Man's shoulder. "Hey hey! How're my buddies doing today?" He keeps smiling, looking the group over. A quick nod to each. "Mom." "Armor-dude." "Lady I don't know." "Psychotic rabbit." A pause. Wait a moment.

Glamour Bunny says, "Lunch? Like....I don't really eat. Per se."

Twila Peterson winces. And she thought they would have *stopped* calling her "Mom" by now!! "Uh...yeah...hi..."

Glamour Bunny says, "Like....who you calling a psycho!?!"

Enker looks over Rick briefly, and pulls out from somewhere within his suit a datapad, running a quick scan over the Hunter. "Hmm... Now that's rather interesting. Unless you have a rather incredibly good cloaking device, you appear to be an actual human being, like Mrs. Peterson." He also notices a coincidental something coming from Vanessa- it has happened from humans before, those who carry cell phones and datapads and other devices in excessive manner, but then again it could mean something entirely different. "Are not you human beings born with an instinct towards self-preservation? I believe according to my information that within a mere few day or so, reality will become so unstable that it will be impossible to take any action beyond watching it crumble. Is Hunter policy so rigid that it would be considered better to keep out one such as myself who only wishes to help then save you and your friends from destruction?"

Morph Doppelganger blinks and looks over at Quick Man. She facepalms a bit and then looks like down at Glamour. "Well, how about shopping?"

Rick Morgan returns. "If we got such a feeling for self preservation, then I feel pretty confident that Wily has got everything he's taking care of on his end under control. Besides, you won't get anything from us anyway. We're just doing our ends of the job as it is. Sorry, those doors aren't opening unless Rock or Doctor Light give the official okay on it." That of course, and the fact that he -knows- when this is all over things are going back the way they are....
Glamour Bunny blinks, "Shopping? Yeah, I like shopping." She smiles a bit.

Twila Peterson blinks towards Enker and his line of logic. "I doubt very much it's our best interests you have in mind."

Morph Doppelganger smiles then. "So we'll go shopping then," she says, taking Glamour's hand. "Let's go." She begins to try and drag Glamour with her, wavign to Rick and Twila and let them handle the visitors.

Quick Man's eyes slowly narrow. He peers deeply at Glamour, looking past the armor (eeeek! Pervert!) and into the depths of her very soul. It's unnerving as he scans across the reploid rabbit, taking in every visual stimulus and comparing it with what he knows..... "You're... one of those... singers, aren't you?" He claps his hands cheerfully. "That's right! I saw you at the Catacombs one night! Oh, you were very good."

Glamour Bunny blushes at the compliment. Turning towards Quick Man, "Like.....you saw me sing there once?"

Twila Peterson nods slowly towards Venessa in honest and friendly farwell as she leads the other off, grateful for the small distraction, before refocusing on the others.

Morph Doppelganger tugs on Glamour a bit more, but waits till she's done before heading off with her to go shopping.

Glamour Bunny slowly gets lead away by Vanessa, "I'm glad to know somebody appreciates my singing...."

Quick Man nods cheerfully to Glamour. "Oh, yes. You were with Screaming Rodents, weren't you? You opened for Morgaine's group that night." Then he notices as the target of his conversation is being taken away. Hopping slightly, he shouts after them. "Are you still touring? I'd love to catch another show! Your drummer was amazing!"

Enker frowns at the joint refusals from the pair of humans before him. "Get something from you?" Enker frowns at Twila. "That was not at all my intention, my dear. I had instead proposed to offer your own scientists and forces what Wily knows. We require from you not information, but raw manpower, and I believe you have all of that we could need within these walls." Enker gestures to Light Labs with a hand, and then turns to Rick and frowns yet again. "I see that it is harder to get a Hunter's trust than to teach a pig to sing. I have given this young lady my word of honor, and still I sense doubt... You are correct that I do not hold your best interests in mind specifically, sir, but I hold in mind the interests of this entire universe and the continued survival of all who dwell in it. Yourselves included."

Glamour Bunny sighs, remembering those few Reploids she was playing with that one night, wishing she still had a career in movies, TV, singing....anything....but the war holds its importance over any of her other desires in life.

Morph Doppelganger smiles a bit at Quick Man, entertained by his...innocence, if that's what you can call it in a Robot Master. She continues to walk away from the group with Glamour and heads down the street with teh Reploid.
Glamour Bunny waves as she is lead down the street.

Quick Man waves happily at the now-vanished pair, and glances down at his handful of lollipops. "Drat. I'm going to need a new supply soon...." Another quick glance up. "Hey, Clowns... you wouldn't happen to have a couple of Zenny to spare, would ya? I need more candy." A vapid yet sadistic smile flashes across his face. "So many children, so little time."

Twila Peterson resists the urge to openly facepalm. "Neither Dr. Light or Rock gave their permission. And that permission can only come from them. They can't allow just anyone in...anymore you would do so at your own base."

Rick Morgan merely stares. "Then tell it to those who are in the authority to do so." he states evenly. "I'll spell it out nice and clear for you to understand. You -aren't- getting in here without Rock or Doctor Light saying so. You wanna give stuff to the scientists, beam it through a secured computer channel. I'm sure they'd be more than willing. End of story."
Rick Morgan then proceeds to cross his arms over his chest.

Enker smiles yet again, an honest smile this time, and one which oddly looks perfectly innocent. "Have you yourself not been invited into Doctor Wily's base, Miss Peterson?" Turning to Rick then and his smile vanishing, "I was not aware that either Light or Rock..." the two names invoking brief sparks of hatred in Enker's eyes and voice, but they pass quickly- "Were so very protective, especially when it is so inappropriate to be so. If you are so very set in your ranks that you cannot take the inniative to allow me to offer your faction what might prove of grave importance... Perhaps this is a test of Fate, to risk sounding like a Stardroid. Maybe a higher power deems that a universe of beings that cannot even pull together to save themselves ought not be saved."

wila Peterson tenses her hands into fists. "Invited and being forced are two seperate things. And I had guards breathing down my necks when I was there. And I was brought there against my will. They're two seperate things." She pauses briefly before stating. "And if you really all that concerned you'd be doing your best to respect the Hunter's protocol...not attempting to force your way in."

Rick Morgan still ain't budging, and dosen't even lower his stance one bit. In fact, the very mention of Twila and her 'time' in Skull Fortress makes him frown all the more. "Nice speech, but I'm not buying it. It still remains. No ok from Rock or Light, no getting in."

David takes this time to bring his cane directly in front of him and he leans on it with both hands, smiling briefly once more before he is enveloped with a dull hum and an appropriately aslo dull yellow glow, his form becoming encompassed in fuzzy light- it expands outward to a few points here and there, and then retreats back inwards, Enker being left in full golden and blue armor- his wooden staff is now the 8-foot long Mirror Buster, which he grasps in both hands.
Enker returns to full power armor.

Quick Man moves away from Clown and Enker slightly, getting the idea things are about to become significantly less peacable then they were just a minute ago. And better to spread out of the blast radius.

Twila Peterson's eyes widen into huge orbs as she stands even closer to her brother right about now.
You whisper 'He better remember we're under a truce.' to Rick Morgan.

Rick Morgan, considering the sudden change....doesn't even budge, and instead stays standing exactly as he was with Twila alongside him, more so now that she moves closer.

The charm of youth that David posessed vanishes with his human garb, and his expression is now stone-cold and devoid of emotion, the face of a machine. "Why Miss Peterson," he says flatly, "You look uneasy. I was correct that this form is a bit more intimidating, was I not? But intimidation serves a purpose some time. Make no mistake from what I am about to say, Miss Peterson, neither I nor my comrades shall pose a threat to you... But then again, they have been known to ignore orders from time to time, when the mood strikes them." Enker glances to both Quick Man and Clown Man- "And with three Robot Masters here, I should think your human emotions might strike just a twinge of fear into you. Why don't you information Light and Rock of the situation that borders on emergency? I am sure they value you two humans enough to drop whatever it is currently demands their attentions..."

Twila Peterson's features visibly pale as she stands there, somewhat immobilized. Hmmm....kinda more than a ring of a threat there.

It's then that an arm actually flashes in front of Twila, and pushes her -back-, as Rick immediately fills the void between Enker and his sister, not about to let another second go by like this. Rather than any sort of fear, he feels a generous portion of anger right now, wanting nothing more than to have that multiton war machine at his command right now. Still, even then...he glares back at the android. "You know Enker....if you put half as much of your effort into concentrating on working in a harmonious way with others as you do with screwing things up and trying to be the big man around here, we'd probably have beaten Kaiser a long time ago." How about that? A compliment -and- an insult in one sentence. Go Rick!

By now, he's already pushing backwards, guiding Twila away from the Robot Masters and towards the front door, calling the other's challenge now. "Maybe Wily made you guys unfailingly loyal Enker, but I don't recall anything about suicide, unless you got your CPU switched with a bomb bat recently, in which case I'll stand corrected. So either shut the hell up and call Rock or Light and work out a meeting, or go ahead and shoot and turn this back into a war all over again and get us nowhere fast." he continues to push Twila back with him in the process, keeping one firmly on her arm.

Twila Peterson allows herself to be prodded back without any amount of verbal debate, instead allowing the Hunter to go about stating the way things are and the way things shall be until either one or the other of the two individuals are contacted. She stumbles slightly as she reaches the first stair but gain her grip on the railing soon enough to prevent herself from falling as Rick continues grasping her arm.

Enker raises a hand to his chin as the hunter speaks. "Come now... Did I not come here with nothing but harmonious intentions on mind? Was I not forced to acquire this form as a last resort? It is greatly unfortunate, I think, that it was Miss Peterson who came to confront me first off..." Enker looks down to her. "No offense to you of course my lady, but you are human, and I think you do not forget past actions as easily as you might. Just because when we last spoke I had less than the best intentions in mind does not mean that I do not come in peace this time." He then turns back to Rick, and just blinks. "And what do you think I have been trying to do, Hunter? I do not have time to schedule a meeting for next Tuesday with Rock and Light" he replies sarcastically. "If I am ever to speak to them, it must be soon. Very soon."

"If you're such a genius then haven't you clued -in- yet!?" Rick suddenly snaps, as he stops, though gives Twila a bit of a gentle nudge, in a 'keep going' sort of manner. "They aren't -in-! You can't have a meeting with someone that isn't -here-. Capiche!?"

Actually Twila never did say or even imply that te android's actions agianst her would ever be forgotten. But that's hardly the point, is it not? "You'll have to contact them yourself. Otherwise we can't help you," she gets out. Her steps continue towards the front entrance under her brother's direction, steadying now as they draw even closer.

Enker raises a brow at the civilian. "I see now why you do not understand... Your patience seems quite limited, whereas I have patience in infinite supply. Neither Rock nor Light make their positions or a means of contact known to me or the other Masters, for obvious reasons. Once inside your Hunter base, I could simply wait for their inevatable return."

Twila Peterson .oO(Not to mention poke their unclean noses into whatever that doesn't belong.)o. Even the Mavericks who are somewhat forced to being here are under constant supervision...as well as fields. "Then do what someone else did...wait outside."

Rick Morgan shakes his head. "Sounds nice on paper dosen't it? Still not gonna happen. So amuse yourself with finding a way to contact them, or call back later." he then turns around, essentially putting his back to Enker, as he starts up the steps purposefully. "Unless you got anything -else- to add, I think we're done here."

Quick Man glances about, looking at those present. Then, he holds out a hand towards Twila, and asks, "Want a lollipop, Ma?"

Twila Peterson reaches the front entrance now, and rests her hand against the framing of the controls...which would allow the floor to slide open at even the slightest touch. Her eyes narrow as she glances over her shoulder...peering at Enker first...and then drifting her eyes over to his fellow Master. "No thank you. And I'm *not* your mother."

Enker just hrmms at the Hunter. "Yes, I think we are. It is indeed a sad state of affairs when the Mavericks are more honorable than the Maverick Hunters." He too turns to go, just shaking his head and muttering under his breath as he catches Quick Man's offering in the corner of his eye. Another quick flash of golden light, and Enker is once again an ordinary civilian as he makes his way back through the night to the teleporters in Neo Tokyo.
Enker transforms into the civilian David Enkerman.

Rick Morgan clenches his hands into fists as he glares after the departing backs of those present, before finally heaving a deep breath, and turning back to face Twila again. As if looking at her was enough to cause every bit of stress to leave him, his face melts into a much softer expression. "Are you ok?"

Twila Peterson shoulders slightly tremble in response as she turns away from the retreating Masters. "I--I think I will be..." she muses softly...

Mirage stalks outside, "Are the Masters gone?".

Quick Man frowns slightly. His feelings are hurt. But then, he notices another happy family nearby on the sidewalk! Instantly, he's over next to them, giving the child a lollipop. "Hi! I'm Quick Man, and I'm an internationally wanted criminal! I'm currently being investigated for mass murder, kidnapping, and causing several hundred million Zenny in property damage, among several dozen other assorted felonies." He smiles cheerfully as the familiy backs away some. "I'm free for babysitting, at low rates!"

Mirage blinks and taps Twila on the shoulder, "Everything alright?".

Rick Morgan sighs, and gives Twila's shoulder a gentle touch, before turning back to watch the Masters leaving. Sheesh. He shakes his head slowly, more to himself than anyone else, as he tries to get his -own- anger under control.
Twila Peterson ughs as Mirage very nearly runs into her. Now this helps in feelign sandwhiched. Rick right behind and Mirage right in front. Lovely. She lets out a tiny squeak, startled at first, and then settles. "Once my heart stops racing. Guess it's my fault for being right in front of the door..." she mumbles before drawing in a tight breath.

A rather human looking figure walks down the street. Everything about him screams preppy. The way he walks, the way he dresses, even the way he just smiles. The man makes his way over to the infamious Light Labs, head of the Hunter operations around the globe. The individual continues to smile and nod to civilians as they pass one another in the street. He approaches the small group gathered outside the door. Nothing about him seems odd at all...
...except he's twelve feet tall.

Mirage smiles and steps even farther outside. "I'm glad you took care of it".

Twila Peterson presses her lips together angry at Enker of course, but also angry at herself. "Rick did actually. I just froze up is all."

Rick Morgan sighs, and gives a quick glance towards Twila in concern, before turning to face...twelve feet of reploid. He blinks, and glances uuuuup at the figure, narrowing his eyes as he studies the form. He -knows- this one right...? But...

"Uh..." he starts, not sure how to start out.

David turns to observe the approach of one behomth of a human as he goes, deciding against it after all- perhaps he'll hang out for a bit more to watch. "This should be interesting," muses Enker to himself. The young human of course is indistinguishable as a Robot Master, but given the fact that this same human stood as Wily's left hand man along with Bass last night, it is easy enough to guess who it is. The same goes for the Colonel, givin his far from human height, and that unmistakable trademark cap.

Enker isn't through here just yet, boys and girls. Twila might not be getting much sleep this night without aid of modern medicine.

Mirage looks upward and sees the large being, "Wow", is all he can mutter.

Twila Peterson then takes notice of...um...another individual approaching within the direction of the Labs and soon arrives. She follow's her brother's lead and stares up at him. She has met him in person before...but that was a few months ago. More like a lifetime ago. Her eyes dart from Mirage to Rick...and then to the newcomer. "Colonel?"

Colonel:
A stern and serious looking fellow, he holds the snotty expression of the British in his expression. The facial features are quite normal, nothing to distinguish him from any man or reploid. However clearly artificial life due to his massive 12 feet height, he rises above any humans within the immediate vicinity. He wears neat straight brown pants, no folds or stains at all. His sweater is also tucked gentlemanly into the waistline. The boots are a shining ebony black, so clean that you can see your reflection. A cap covers the hair, as the light is broken by the visor, it creates an opaque shadowy darkness around the eyes.

Rick Morgan blinks, and stares longer. "Colonel?" he speaks, repeating Twila's recognition, then finally seems to relax. "Sheesh, I don't recognize you out of uniform..."

Enker grins and turns himself about, raising a hand to his mouth to call out to the newcomer. "I don't think you'll find much luck with them, sir." he says, his voice raised to cover the distance but not particularly emphasized. He puts his hands to his hips, still holding the head of his wooden cane in one, and waving the end in a small smircle near the ground.

Colonel looms above the others. Colonel chuckles like Doctor Hibbert, "Gee, I wonder what gave me away." His eyes fall upon Enker, immediately the soldier wonders what the Masters are doing here. He doesn't ask as it was not his place to. "You are not so obvious to recognize, but the face is all too familiar...Enker." The Officer frowns and looks back at the faces he meant to see. "Are these fellas bothering you?"

Morph Doppelganger walks into the area with Glamour, both ladies carrying kimono's in their hands.

Mirage shakes his head, "Nah, I think we're fine. Rick took care of'em. I'm Mirage, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance Colonel".

Quick Man continues to wander about the streets, handing out candy and scaring people. Hey, it's a hobby. Not like he's needed to do anything else at the moment, what with being turned away from Light Labs and all.

Rick Morgan merely tilts a glare in Enker's direction, before glancing back at Colonel once again. "Nah, we're ok Colonel. Somethin you wanted comin here anyway?"

Twila Peterson fights the urge to just run herself inside and give her room some redecorating.

Glamour Bunny is walking along side Vanessa with her shopping bag and a pair of sunglasses on, yes...shopping does help to calm her nerves.

Colonel taps something invisible on his upper chest. The human clothing suddenly fades away into static. The Hologram disguise completely phasing into nothingness. The Colonel brings his posture up and less relaxed, tensing his slouching shoulders and raising his chin higher. The expression as well transforms in an instant. The friendly baseball cap is the last to go, as it isn't a fake. The Soldier removes it from his head to replace it with the ever so coveted Military hat. He adjusts it slightly, bringing the visor down to cover more of his eyes. "A pleasure to meet you." His attention switches to Rick while motioning into the door. "May I come in?"

Twila Peterson also turns towards Rick as he's addressed. She her frame begins to relax a little as time passes. Well, at least things are calmer now than what they were a few moments ago...

Rick Morgan actually makes it a -point- of turning to look in Enker's direction, as he proceeds to step back. "I don't see any problem with it." he says evenly, making the pathway clear for Colonel to go inside. "Come on in."

Twila Peterson moves herself out of the way as well the OK is given. However, still being a bit shaken by Enker, she remains silent.

Morph Doppelganger stops at the entrance to the Labs and says, "Thank you for the nice time." She smiles at the bunny. "I hope I'll see you again." The disguised Reploid waves and then moves to step inside the base...

Enker hrrms at Rick's words and accompanying gesture, and then outright laughs, walking right back up to the Hunters' front door. "I realize now the error of my ways. It was foolish at best to think that humans such as yourselves would have any sense of what is in your own best interests, or to understand the concepts of truce or honor. It only makes sense- Your leader is Dr. Light, after all! Humans of intelligence are one in a million, Wily for example." Enker turns to stare directly at Mirage. "What is your position here, reploid?"

Twila Peterson suddenly blurts out, "Shuddup already!" with her anger overcoming her fear if only for a moment.

Enker makes a point of ignoring Twila. She could take a malet and smack him in the back of the head with it for all he cares.

Rick Morgan just stares for a long moment, before turning and gesturing to Twila as she outbursts. "Come on..." he says gently, moving up and slipping a hand over her shoulder, starting to guide her inside. "He's not worth it."

(Ch. C [Misc]) Morph Doppelganger transmits: '*Morph's voice* Is there a problem outside?'.

Mirage growls, "My position...my position is that I think you need to leave. And by staying here your only making the matter worse. So, it'd be in your best interest to leave, that's my position".

Colonel smiles at Twila and Mirage as he passes through the door, a reassuring nod while he was at it. "I can have a batallion soldiers here in five minutes." Enkers words bring the reploid to an abrupt halt, honor...something he never would have believed a Master to know anything of. His mind dwells a bit on the thought before quickly dismissing them, they were a mere annoyance at the moment...nothing more. There were bigger fish to fry, and that's why the Repliforce officer came.

(Ch. C []) Jet Stingray transmits: 'Outside where?'.
(Ch. C []) Colonel transmits: 'None...we will be inside shortly.'.

Twila Peterson bites her lower lip before turning away aruptly. She then hurriedly follows the Repliforcer inside along with her brother, who can feel her frame shaking once again.

Entrance Hall - Level 1 <Hunter HQ>
At first glance, the lobby to this large complex seems like any other scientific corporation's. Black polished marble floors and buffed steel walls with numerous glass windows seem to dominate. Even a small security desk to the west, a sealed door behind it, looks perfectly ordinary. However, upon closer inspection, the angled glass windows hide and protect numerous security cameras, as well as other electronic gadgets of an even less benign nature.
In the center of the huge lobby is an ornate fountain with a hollow cut-metal sculpture of the earth turning slowly, inside a flickering but ever-burning flame symbolizing freedom for all. Embossed on the wall towards the lifts is inscribed 'Light Labs, Inc. International Headquarters.'

Morph Doppelganger shifts into his normal form, holding onto the bag that he promptly stores into subspace. "A kimono," he says, "But I won't need it in this form..."

Twila Peterson keeps herself tightlipped. If there was a problem, she certainly

Rick Morgan follows Twila in, hand still resting on her shoulder, and he outright pauses, pulling gently on his hold on her. "C'mon..." he muses quietly, pulling her a little closer. "It's ok..."

Morph Doppelganger speaks up again. "Is there a problem?"

Colonel shakes his head over at Morph. "None that we can take care of, just some pesky Masters." He takes a quick glance around the Lobby. "I could have just teleported in here, but that is just down right rude." The Reploid frowns. "I wouldn't want to spend what could be our last days...as no less than a gentleman." The officer's head is slightly bowed, the expression on his face reflecting his concerns on the dire conditions of the current dilemna.

Mirage shakes his head as he walks through to door, "Enker...I hate him".

Morph Doppelganger nods a bit and his torso shifts from his lower body, elongating so that he's more or less following the siblings as they walk down the hall, his legs keeping up. "Are you two alright," he asks.

Twila Peterson then straightens, relieved by the consolation of Rick's words more than ever right now. "Yeah...that other problem's cleared...up now..." she answers haltingly before regarding the others. "We're fine." .oO(I think...)Oo. She then informes the towering Repliforcer, "I haven't heard anything else than what was stated last night...although the others may have."

Mirage gnaws on his lip, "So, what brought you all the way here Colonel?".

Morph Doppelganger stops, allowing his body to catch up with the rest of him as he walks the two down the hall and looks over at Colonel. "Ever get the feeling that this place is like a soap opera?" he says, looking at the big guy.

Rick Morgan gives a nod in Colonel's direction as well. "Same here pretty much. Been alot of plotting going on, and I've been busy lately with my own repairs on individuals and stuff."

Colonel takes a deep breath and sighs, he looks away from the faces of the others. The Officer looks at the fountain, staring blankly at the artistic structure. His voice echoes through the steel walls, uncannily calm and cool despite the situation. "As I am sure...you have heard of what has undergone earlier today over at London. About the incident at Cambridge. Doctor Quire's concoction was proved to be a failure, however Kaiser made an appearance." He swivels around and lets his words hang for a brief moment. "The device was destroyed...along with quite a bit of my pride. I came to see if your scientists have been more succesfull than ours in formulating an alternative...an alternative which the General calls, his final solution."

Rick Morgan listens to that, and closes his eyes, shuddering once at the thought of the device having been destroyed outright. He recovers quickly enough, and opens his eyes again. "Rest assure Colonel, with Doctor Light and everyone else working on it, we'll have something ready for you. I'm willing to stake everything on it...which I think is what I'm already doing."

Mirage nods at Rick's words, "We're all working on overtime for sure Colonel..but what do you mean...General's final solution?".

Morph Doppelganger hrms. "I could try and infiltrate Robotropolis again, but the Kaiser can somehow know me," he says, rubbing his chin and rubbing his chest at the same time. "He saw right through my form as Magistrate Vile..."

Twila Peterson sucks in her breath at the news. Actually, she *hadn't* heard. Well, there goes that idea. She falls silent as she digests the Repliforcers words. For some reason an icy sensation makes it's way down the length of her spine at the term used for the alternate plan. "Final...Solution?"

Morph Doppelganger blinks, his entire body shifting into another form, and looking at Colonel. "Final solution?" he says.

The mere image brought with that term conjures up a sore point within human history for some reason as Twila thinks on it.

Colonel glances over to Mirage and raises his head high, he looks up at the ceiling, eyes dart from corner to corner. "As some of you know, there is an enormious structure orbiting Earth. It is the property of Repliforce. A base with a weapon that has devastating capabilities, able to take out entire regions of a continent. It's called the Ion cannon."

Twila Peterson swallows...hard, not liking the sound of this in the least. "And this Ion cannon, how would it be used?" Although...need she really ask?

The figure before you begins to waver and shift, light and electromagnetic fields lifting until... Morph Doppelganger stands revealed.

Rick Morgan hmmms quietly. He knows of the Ion Cannon, at least the damage it can unleash on a surrounding area. Though he nods slowly. "It'd be about the only chance if there's....no other solution."

Morph Doppelganger shifts back into his other form, his eyes bugging out and his mouth dropping down. "The Ion Cannon? I've been working in Repliforce Intel for
years and I've never even /seen/ evidence that it existed..."

Mirage rubs his chin,"I think times running short, hopefully Quire, or one of the Doctor's has a plan."

Morph Doppelganger hrms at his radio and smiles a bit. "I think I can have some fun here. I've got the public Master frequency on my datatracks. One moment...." Modulating his voice to Wily's, he coughs a bit. "Ah-hem. BASS! BRING ME SOME MORE DEPENDS THIS INSTANT!"

Twila Peterson just...blinkblinks at Morph. Well...one way to break a solemn mood...

Colonel stops staring off at the ceiling, bringing his gaze back down to those shorter than he. "Indeed, it is a weapon of mass destruction that has been concealed from the public. The UN funded the program to create such a base years ago, meant only to be used in extreme situations...such as the ones we face." He pauses. "The Ion Cannon has several solar panels spread out facing the sun, it gathers enormious quantities of power and collects it all together within the base core. The reserves have grown into levels of which even I could not fathom, this is due to years of dormancy. Despite the fact that there has been no real reason for the Repliforce to use it true potential, we have left it to gather energy for nearly a decade. In hopes that it would be charged fully for an attack at any moments notice. There is one...and ONLY one person alive with the activation code..."

Rick Morgan dosen't need to be told twice about who it is. "General."

Colonel nods. "We are running out of options, when the time comes...he will make the decision to fire."

Morph Doppelganger continues to speak as Wily, transmitting his voice across the airways, "Did you not HEAR me boy!? I am the GREAT Dr. Albert Wily! And when I want something, I had better get it! Now! Go, before I let Snake Man have his way with you!

Mirage nods, "Let's hope it doesn't come to that."

Morph Doppelganger (Ch. E []) Snake Man transmits: '... I think I'll passss'.

Twila Peterson's knees start to buckle underneath her as more of this sinks in. The fact implications of the destruction and the lives lost are enormous is an understatement at best. This is not exactly what she needed to overhear within her current state. "I---I...better excuse myself..." she muses weakly before turning towards the grav lift.

Morph Doppelganger says, "*Wily's voice* Bring them Robotropolis and apply them to Kaiser Sigma! This I command!"

Rick Morgan blinks and moves to help steady Twila up as she moves off. "I better make sure you get there..." he offers, casting a glance over his shoulder, an apologetic look sent in Colonel's direction. But...well he should be able to understand. -He- has a sister too right?

Morph Doppelganger: (Ch. E []) Bass transmits: 'Most interesting. Either the Doctor has finally succumbed to alzheimers, or we have a joker amidst us.'.
Morph Doppelganger continues on, keeping himself entertained.

Mirage nods to Colonel, "Anything else you wish to discuss with us sir?". He turns to watch Rick help Twila away, and his gaze turns back, "This is putting a strain on everyone."

Morph Doppelganger says, "*Wily's Voice* Do not question me, you finheaded welp! Do it, or I shall strip you down and use you to create my own personal alarm clock and toiletry set!"

Colonel smiles with an understanding look at Rick. He understood, and right now he should be with his as well. "I'm glad to hear that the Hunters are working hard to find an alternative solution to that of ours. Please inform me of any theories in which our top minds could assist you with."

<Soon...>

Twwila's Quarters <TQ>(#3681OeM
Encased within white walls and teal carpeting lies the fashioned quarters of one lone woman. The room itself is sparsely decorated save for one or two framed prints of the oceanic life focusing on the whale and dolphin hanging on the wall above the desk. This desk, as with several other pieces furniture wooden and of an antique design. Upon the desk rests Twila's laptop computer as well as a minimal amount of accessories. The bed lies against the adjoining wall, its mattress and bedding covered with a Pennsylvainian Dutch patterned quilt. Also noticed on top of the bed are two stuffed toy lions (one large, one small), and a teddy bear. On a nearby nightstand rests a Bible and three framed photes. One displayes a photo taken of a petite blond and her husband of Middle Eastern decent who stand behind a young red-headed girl appearing to be between the age of 11-13 years. The other is of her and Rock as they were at the 1212 Halloween party when she dressed as Megaman's younger self and Rock came as Zero. The third is of Cossack and Kalinka. Beside the nightstand is a handcrafted metal statue of the "Blue Bomber" himself.
Not far from the door rests a padded basket-type bed for the girl's young, mischievous cabbit. Kyo-Ohki will more than likely be found here if she's not with Twila elsewhere or exploring the vast ventilation system trailing throughout the base. Spread around the basket are some toys she likes to play with on occasion.

Twila Peterson maintains an unhealthy set jaw as she's aided to her room. As she and her brother enter, she offers the small, presently caged and unhappy cabbit a glance of sheer sympathy before she bends over, letting Kyo out.

The cabbit sniffles before bounding over to Twila, wailing within her own way. <What I do wrong? Don't ya love me anymore?>

All Twila can do in response is hug the mech-animal...and shed some tears of her own.

The cage Kyo was in itself doesn't appear uncomfortable within the least. Her toys are in there as well as food, water, and her basket. So, Kyo wouldn't have bene too uncomfortable...just rather confined.

Rick Morgan sighs, and watches the display between the two, before turning to glance up at the vents with a silent curiosity. "You know..." he offers, touching Twila's shoulder gently. "Tomorrow I can try and re-inforce those vents so they still work, but she can't get into them. That way you could at least let her out of the cage a bit more..."

Twila Peterson strokes the fur lovingly, in attempts to calm the animal down while Kyo continues within her distress. "I dunno. I might help. Not like I want to see her locked away. But I don't want her getting hurt...especially with...who's here..." she states after a lengthy pause. What almost seens an eternity later she gets back up to her feet, glancing idly towards her bed. "I don't know how much more of this I can take. Sigma and the Maverick's were bad enough. But last night with Snake Man's pet and now Enker...if the temperal danger doesn't kill us...this truce will."

Rick Morgan narrows his eyes and turns back to face Twila fully. "Snake Man's pet?" he mutters. That must have been after he slipped out. "What are you talking about?"

"Enker...left behind a Search Snake when, Wily, and Bass left the meeting," Twila recalls shakily. "It...happened to crawl up my leg before Mike was able to get to it and get rid of it. Bit him too. That was why both of us were in the Med Center. I was tending to his hand..."

Rick Morgan frowns visibly, and clenches his hands into fists, as if struggling to restrain himself. He growls lowly for a few seconds, before letting it go finally, and resigning to a deep sigh. He steps forward, and takes both of Twila's upper arms in his hands, and shakes his head slowly. "We gotta pull through this the best way he can..." he murmurs. "And the -instant- this is over, expect that things will snap right back to how they were. I wouldn't be surprised if they have plots for -us- at the same time right now."

The young woman nods towards the latter half of his statement. "Can't relly help but wonder if that was the reason Enker was dead set on getting in..." she says in distatse." Glanceing over to her bed once more she allows the cabbit to leap on the bedspread before turning herself and embracing Rick tightly. "Gotta pull through first..." she reminds him, voice drifting though the folds within his fabric.

Rick Morgan smiles gently. "We'll pull through it Twila." he soothes, keeping his arms around her as he hugs her close. "I promise we will."

Quick Man sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "Help me!"

Kyo-Ohki offers a saddened "mew" as she watches the two. Her ears droop quite low as she watches the siblings. A paw raises to bat at the air in front of her before settling on the mattress again. "Meow."

Twila finds herself nodding in concession. "One...one way or another, huh?" She remains there within his arms for an undetermined length of time, trying to find the strength she needs in his grasp. After a time she loosens her hold a little. "I...better get some..." Her voice then trails off as she glances down at the radio on her belt as it comes to life. "Who?"

You send a tightbeam radio transmission to Quick Man: "And...who is this...?"

Quick Man sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: " LET ME IN! BASS IS GONNA VAPORIZE ME! HEEEEEEELP!"

Twila Peterson eyes widen. "Uh...someone is stating that...Bass is going the vaporize him if he...isn't let in..."

You send a tightbeam radio transmission to Quick Man: "*taking a stab at this* Quick Man?"

Rick Morgan just...facepalms at that. "Twila...here..." he turns to take hold of her radio, and turns it off -himself-. "You're gonna get some sleep, cause you need it right here and now."

Twila Peterson doesn't seem to raise any objections to this...either. She bites her lower lip, offering only a sigh in response. "Alright," she tones quietly. "I'll...try..."
Twila Peterson snorts belatedly. "Was Quick Man anyway..."

Rick Morgan sighs, and shakes his head. "Whatever it was about, is his problem." He frowns, and then finally softens his gaze, moving over and gesturing Twila towards her bed. "Come on...you're gonna get some rest."

Kyo-Ohki hops up and down on the bed, eagerly waiting for Twila. She casts several inquisitive glances over towards Rick and then hops on up to the edge of the sheets at the head, nabbing some of the quilt within her mouth, and attempting to pull tha blankets down for her mistress anyway she can.

Twila watches Kyo's antics, but can't really bring herself to smile this time. "Thanks, Rick," she whispers as she pulls back the portion of the blankets Kyo is too small for.

Twila Peterson then eases into the bed within her clothes...bothering only to remove her boots.

Rick Morgan hmmms, and proceeds to tuck Twila in of course, moving the blanket over her and Kyo at the same time. "Hey, I said it before, I'll say it again." he murmurs. "What's a brother for huh?" he leans forward then, to gently kiss her forehead. "Try and get some sleep at least."

By now, Kyo has snuck herself in so she can better snuggle Twila's neck. The animal purrs in content, jst grateful her owner doesn't seem upset with her any longer...at least for now. <I'm sorry...I didn't mean ta be bad...>

The girl wearily closes her eyes...only to open them halfway. "You too, Rick...kay?"

Rick Morgan smiles. "I will Twila. Promise." he speaks gently, before straightening up and moving back, stepping towards the door itself, and finally dimming the lights before he opens the door to step out.
