AUTOBOT NANNY Mount St. Hillary -- Entrance Cavern Hot Rod hmmmms, then nods, peering down towards the camp and his new responsibility. "Seems like the 'cons are always walking right up to the front door... and to Seattle too," he muses unhappily, then starts scouring the humans for a familiar face. Galactix idly flicks off a piece of black colored metal from his foot unit. Candice enters the cavern through one of the adjoining other caverns. She waves shyly to the Autobots that have seen her already and seenms to be trying to stay away from the military encampment...especially the infirmary. Ellis sighs, tossing down the clipboard onto the back of the command post, and growls at noone in particular. "I want my arm back!" Flak looks at Ellis, "What do you mean? You lost your arm?" Hot Rod smiles a bit, hearing the voice before seeing the face, then sneaksneaks over to the command post. With a leap, he *klunks* down hard nearby, form looming over the small building as he beams a wide grin down at Ellis. "HI!" Ellis grumbles. "Just use of it." he scowls at the sling. "..Heya, Hot Rod!" he greets, smiling. Hot Rod reaches down, finger brushing the tiny sling thoughtfully. "That how you patch yourselves up then? Was it broken?" Candice looks over towards the distance of the camp and notices Hot Rod by a marine...already surmising who it is... despite her inability to see his features from this distance. +radio ellis=And just what are you doing out of the infirmery? Ellis ignores the radio blatantly as he shrugs his good arm. "At least until the doc can look at it." he responds quietly. Candice, for all the world, feigns innocence as her radio goes unanswered...hoping this means since Ellis left he won't have *her* go back either. After all...what's a few mere brusies. With this bunch she's learn to expect them anyway. Hot Rod frowns down, starting to straighten a bit. "You haven't been to the repair bay yet? Sheeesh, you're worse than me," he says, trying to sound disappointed to add some element of guilt that people find works so well with him. He looks back up at Galactix. "So you guys chase him off then?" Ellis smirks, and looks at Hot Rod, responding. "Been by the infirmary to check on Candice?" he finally asks, "I have too much work on my desk to worry about my arm." Hot Rod flickers a look back at Ellis. "No... she's not out yet? Wow... she wasn't hurt that bad, was she?" Ellis shakes his head. "Not sure." RADIO: Why, you have a signed release from the infirmary? If so, I want to see it. Ellis taps his radio to send a communique. +radio Ellis= "Uh....last I check you weren't my commanding officer. And just where is *your* release form, Lt?" Flak looks at Candice, "How are you today?" Ellis smirks at his radio, and transmits. Candice lowers the radio and glances up at Flak. "Oh, fine. Alot better after a good night's sleep I think. Still sore tho." Flak says, "That's good" Hot Rod peers up at Galactix again expectantly for a bit, then shrugs, glancing back down to Ellis as he says, "I'll go see I guess. Can't be any fun if it's like our repair bay." RADIO: No, but I need required visits from all of my staff, military or civilian. Paperwork and all that? As for my own.. Heh, haven't even checked in yet. Too much paperwork on my desk. Ellis smirks. "It is no fun, trust me. Anyway, I'll tag along." RADIO: And that sudden freeze with your back? Candice rocks herself gently back and forth and returns the radio. Hot Rod meters his paces a bit, strolling slowly so Ellis won't have a hard time keeping up. Absently, he tucks his hands under the edge of his torso armor at his waist... putting his hands in his pockets as he looks thoughtful for some reason. Galactix says, "Chased off would be an understatement. He rammed into me with his car form, and I unknowningly jumped on top of him. He looked rather two-dimensional afterwards." +radio ellis=A muscle somewhat sore from the fall. I just moved the wrong way. Nothing to worry about. Sheesh. Galactix says, "He looked a lot like a human toy called a 'frisbee', so I gave it a try and flung him off towards the sea." Flak says, "Oh and I shot him before that !" Ellis says, "Something the matter, Rod?" he asks, as he moves along. "You seem to be lost in thought." Hot Rod blinks up first at Galactix, struck by the humor in that, then laughs. "Heh... good one, Galactix. One less con to worry about I guess," he says cheerfully, then hmmms? at Ellis. "Huh? Oh, no, just trying not to hurt myself thinking, you know," he offers with a slight grin. "Prowl says I'm supposed to take care of all you human guys now... just trying to figure out how to do that." Candice has been, of course, negligent in having her injuries tended or really looked after. But she's always managed to take them in stride. Besides, she *has* had worse bruising. So, a small tumble down the hill followed by a wack upside the head against a tree stump that left her unconscious for a few hours isn't cause for concern. Flak looks at Candice, "It's too bad you humans don't heal like us" Candice offers a shrug to Flak. "Well...true. but we don't usually get outselves as hurt *on a normal basis* such as you guys do either..." Candice take notice of Hot Rod...hoping against hope that he won't join in with Ellis. She throws him a mock salute and a lopsided grin with a finger to her mouth. Shhhhhh. Flak says, "Yeah well...I hear that in your wars you hurt more than us." Hot Rod starts to open his mouth to offer a greeting as he gets nearer, then treats Candice with a curious expression. Furtively, he looks around, waiting for the other shoe. "Uh... heeeeya, Flak...." he says cautiously. Candice nods slowly. "Well..I suppose you have a point there. Organic matrial is able to heal itself naturally for the most part. It just requires some time to do it. Humans don't have 'spare parts' such as a Transformer would." Flak looks at Hot Rod, "Hum?" Candice figures if Hot Rod has to ask about "the other shoe" *she* certainly wouldn't tell. "How are you doing?" Hot Rod shifts on his feet a bit, not getting it, then finally blurts out a cheerful greeting. "Hi, Candice," he says over a grin, then elbows Flak a bit. "Heard you and Gal are the Con chasers of the week." Ellis jerks a thumb towards the infirmary. "Get in there, Candice." Flak says, "Yeah, I guess so" Candice puts her radio on her belt, crossing her arms over her chest. "Forget it. Not with just a few knock-ups... and especially not until you go first." Flak looks at Ellis, "I don't think she has to obey your orders" Ellis scowls. "Don't make me carry you in there. The last thing I want you to do is keel over with internal injuries." Flak looks at Candice, "Internal injuries?" Candice opens her mouth and closes it. "I would have 'keeled" over before now if that were the case. 'Sides...who says you can carry anything with that arm?" Ellis says, "Maybe, maybe not. Get in there, Candice. Orders or no orders, you are the civilian member of a Marine staff and I will not have you going about like this. I had the corpsman give me a once over, you can do the same. Now go." Hot Rod frowns, dropping to a knee, then looks between Ellis and Candice. He hrms, then squints at Ellis. "Hey, do *you* have any internal injuries?" he says pointedly. Hot Rod grins, optics glittering as he leans forward to be face to face with Ellis. "Heh... thought you said you hadn't been fixed yet?" Candice is actually glad Hot Rod injected his concern. She then turns to Ellis. "Have you?" Ellis slaps his hand over Hot Rod's mouth. "Ignore him." he says with a smirk. "I'm fine. No concussion or anything." Candice perks an eyebrow. "Are you sure?" Flak looks at Candice, "If you say you're ok I guess you are" Ellis doesn't respond for a long moment, and then decides to plead the fifth by changing the subject. "At least grab some asprin before your body decides not to like you." Hot Rod folds his arms over his chest, still looking between Ellis and Candice as he straightens a bit with a credible impression of the 'we are not amused' glare. "Hey, I'm bigger 'n both of you. How 'bout you both go see the medic?" he says with a wry grin. Candice looks as if she's more inclined to believe Hot Rod than Ellis at this point. She silently notes Flak's injection but doesn't respond right away to it if only to avoid the argument with Ellis that she's not a docter so she wouldn't know. She turns back to Ellis. "Better than that. Advil. Anti-inflamitory." Candice turns to Hot Rod, blinking. "Oh, terrific. You deemed yourself head nurse?" Flak looks at Hot Rod, "This from the one who never goes to med bay" Hot Rod flashes a grin. "Hey, Prowl put me in charge of taking care of you guys, so that's what I'm gonna do," he begins, pausing to elbow Flak's knee since he's at about that level. "Hey, I go... just... uh... when it's convenient... besides," he adds, hooking a thumb at the two humans. "... they can't be fixed... gotta just.. heal or something." Ellis smirks. "I'll go to my command post and grab a few items. Flak says, "Well from what I learned they can heal while staying here" Candice facepalms. "In charge of taking care of us? Great...a robotic Nanny..." Hot Rod grins at Flak, then nods. "Yup, so we'll scoot 'em in here and make 'em heal," he says, trying to sound ominous before breaking out in a quiet laugh again. Candice regards Hot Rod again. "Uh...don't some of us get a second opinion? I *hate* visiting docters." Ellis makes his way back to the command post, and starts to scrounge about, looking around as he pulls out a small briefcase, popping it open as he puts in some paperwork, his radio, and a small box of a certain chocolate that a certain doctor loves to death. Hot Rod smiles winningly at Candice. "Nope. You guys need to get taken care of. Don't have so many friends that I can afford to lose one." Flak looks at Hot Rod, "Aw.. that's too bad hehe" Hot Rod makes a face at Flak, then grins again. "Suresure.. make fun of the guy with the wicked paint.... That's what usually scares 'em off," he says over a laugh. Candice rolls her blueish eyes at the Autobot's charm and falls for the sentiment. "Ok," she groans, shaining her head. "Ok, ok. I'm going." She heads toward the infirmery somewhat relunctantly... mumbling something under her breath. Not too many Autobots are able to give 'puppy-dog-looks'. But some of them sure know how to sweet talk. Sheesh! Flak says, "Bah, I don't like your paint job" Ellis smirks at Candice as he holds open the tent flap. "After you." Candice turns her head with amusement back at the Bots before entering into the infirmry. "You mean his *mauve* paint job?" and then enters before Hot Rod can respond. Ellis closes the flap after Candice, but doesn't go in himself, trying to sneak away... Hot Rod blinks. "HEEEEY! RED!" he calls after Candice, then hrmpfs, pushing himself to his feet again to smirk at Flak. "That's okay, only matters that *I* like it," he says with an impish grin, then glances down to make sure the two stay in the infirmary. Hot Rod coughs gently. "Mr Turtle...?" Ellis hmms, looking up at Hot Rod, "I left something in the CP..." Yah, that's the ticket.
