If your site does not fit with these requirements, we thank you for your time and effort but it would be best for all involved if you politely stepped out the door. But please, do read on..
Here are the requirements

Your web page must not have any broken images

We the providers of this web ring find broken images to be a bit tacky. If you are just starting out on your web page, and learning as you go, you are to be congratulated! And do come back when you are finished. However, the staff will reload your page and check it on several different browsers to make sure this isn't an error that we have made.

You CAN NOT link to other Pages!!

The Children of the Night do not tolerate theivery! This is a shameful act that happens to many times on the internet. There is no excuse for linking to other servers. If you do not know how to save images that you find appealing, there are people out there that will help you with your quest. In the words of my great maker, "Do not be a shameful thief!" If you are linking to other pages that belong to you, that is different. But linking to someone elses page and making a problem for their bandwith is unacceptible. This rule applies for midi files as well.

Your site must be gothic in nature

We are, afterall, the Children of the Night. If you are here than you must be interested in the darker side of things. If you want to be considered for the ring, your site must fit the theme. This is not to say that mortals are not welcome. We would love to have you ::grins:: as long as your site is dedicated to the darker side of life.

I think that about does it. I do however reserve the right to change these requirements at any time. If your site meets the above requirements, and you would like to join, We would love to have you!
After you submit your site, we ask that you place the html code on your page within the following few days. When your entry is received, we will view your site and send you email stating whether or not you have made the cut. But do not worry, if you followed the rules above Im sure that there will be no problem. The html for this web ring is as follows: you may cut and paste this code, but remember to upload the pictures to your own server or you will be breaking rule #2 and we wouldn't want that.
