A pathogen responsible for deaths of a Goa'uld sect infects Daniel Jackson.
One of the first thing which got my attention for this episode was that we got to see Daniel in a mental asylum. That simple fact there paves a huge way for Danny Whumpers everywhere.
This episode is good in its mystery and special effects, though I think the parts where we saw the dead Goa'uld went a bit overboard in the gore department. But the high point of this episode is when Jack, Sam and Frasier are trapped in the facility trying to overcome Machello's little snakes. That part was especially well-directed.
This episode is definitely worth your while, and my only regret was that I missed taping the episode.
