Joel, the MUD addict

Mudding

I, unfortunately, made the cardinal sin when it comes to MUDs (an acronym, standing for 'multi-user domain/dimension/dungeon'). I started playing them. Now, I, like many others am quite addicted. It is quite fun, and I've met lots of people (see friends) over the MUDs. What are MUDs? Well, there are some FAQs out there (of which this is just one), I suggest you go check them out if you're interested, and don't know what a MUD is.

Anyway, after finding out about the MUDs from a very corny television show (which I cought all of 10 minutes of), I decided to find out where and how to play one. The best way to find a MUD that I found was through the Mud Connecter. After much trial and error I found that one used a telnet program to access the MUDs, and, so I used the one preinstalled on my computer.

I know, you don't care about that stuff, but I felt like saying it anyway :)

Now, I've found two MUDs that I have taken a particular liking to. They are:

It isn't that I happen to dislike all other MUDs, I didn't want to complicate things by being on too many different MUDs, so I keep the number small.

Well, that's it for this page. Time to return to Kraada's Lair. Unless you want to e-mail me at kraada@geocities.com.
