Bleach...1986?... This was Nirvanas first accual record. They had a demo that was called "Fecal Matter" i believe.. Whitch was recorded in the attic of a house they practiced at in Seattle, and this what got them noticed. Bleach was named so becaues at the time that is what most people cleaned their heroin needles with, it was cheep and easy. The band consisted of Kurt, Chris and Chad Channig. Chad was a drummer who tehy had to mold a bit but who they got to work nicely. After the album was recorded they took on ________ as a second guitarest. He is in the pictures ( far right on cover) and credits but acculy did nothing on the recording. The Record was done over 3 day in the Sub POp studios and for the amazing amount of $600.14 Super Cheap. The first single released on vinal was Love Buzz. Not the one that the band wanted, but the one that the label wanted. They toured in a van arround the country and played at clubs and record stores to promote the album.
Nevermind... the
Second album and the one that got Nirvana Started on the mainstream and the
ears of evey highschool studdent in the country. Massivly remixed and processed
againsnst Kurts will, but he was at teh mercy of the label and had no weight
to throw arround .. yet.
