As dawn broke over the fields of Dianadale early this morning, the fields were trampled and work began to restore the damaged crops. While the constables are busy, keeping guard over the normal prisons. Not to mention the makeshift ones quickly erected to hold the mass of people held. The library And many town buildings need reconstruction or repair.
The raid started at sunset. The Mecks that were anxious, and moved before the light left the sky alerted the town to the raid. The guards were supplemented with farmers that took up sickle and pitchfork. Which faced the unprepared the Mecks for any counter. While the guards stormed out from the town, the farmers cut off their route of retreat. Trapping the ill-fated raiders in between two bodies that wished their capture. Few resisted once their paths were cut off and a lot of sharp evil looking objects were pointed at them. Many regretably got away.
They are presently being held for questioning, and there has been no talk of present release.
