Koronande's Senators have been disturbed by reports that the Speaker and member of the ruling three-person executive committee Si Maelstrom has been poisoned and abducted by Princess Zariya of Amber. While the motives for this assault are unclear, it is yet more ammunition for critics of Amber's heavy-handed tactics in the region.
Senator Kratti had this to say: "If true this would be a staggering attack on Koronande's sovereignty. We will be seeking urgent talks with Amber's ambassador over this affair. However if he is dead we will give him a splendid funeral. If he's alive I will kill him because I hate him."
Reponse from the Amber Embassy
I wish to assure the people of Koronande that Amber is just as disturbed by these reports as you are, and I swear to you that the truth behind them will be discovered and appropriate actions taken.
