(HBC Report) Out of the Gulf of Koros comes death and destruction for the people trapped in the corrupt Republic of Koronande. Last night a daring pre dawn raid by Pirates and Marines suspected to be Rory's bore down on the dockyards of the Republic sinking several republican war ships to get to the Ports. There were old issue Rolandae weaponry in use with older gunpowder.
Once there, there was a sudden and destructive raid attacked Pearl's trading compound in Koronande and started attacking troops of the Republic just a few miles from their capital.
There was an attempt to blame the Tanturak Empire and start a war though the Tanturak Fleet never attacks when Valmorgul is in Haven City.
The Trading Compound was levelled. Warehouses were razed. The raiders did not even steal records but merely burned them.
Senators were indignant and this may impact the upcoming elections where Rory's cousin Laszlo is running for office.
Rory's office in Amber denies the raids and says it was the Empire of Tanturak.
Senator Kratti denounced Rory as a "Brandite Kirkist Aggressor" and called for the death penalty.
Senator Si Maelstrom said he was "Very disappointed in Rory" and urged that cooler heads prevail until a full investigation occurs,"What if it was Tanturak with Haven agents?" he asks.
Senator Bossa Silvafriend called for an immediate Declaration of War against Roritania (Mumakan Enclaves) and upon Rory's ally Hathor. "I think that we should kick his ass. Tanturak waits a thousand years to get in war. This brat wants to play now."
Pearl was infuriated,"After all I have been through. Bribes and fines from Oberon, jilted by Laszlo in favour of his harem of cousins," she broke down and cried at the destruction of her massive compound."I am going to punish that brat big time. I can see why the Abyss Hags love to gut red heads. I would gut this sonofabitch myself with my nails."
