The Card: The Princess of Cups represents the earthy part of water. This card signifies a young woman of infinite grace and sweetness, voluptuousness, gentleness, and kindness. This young lady is also romantic and dreamy. Ill-dignified, this card represents a indolent, selfish, and luxurious woman.

The Character: Valerie is one of the newest cousins in Amber. From what I gather, she was an ice skater. She seems sweet and shy, and also seems very intimidated by Amber so far. However, I get the feeling that this facade is hiding something...the Princess of Wands seemed a natural choice for her, even though this is a Court Card of the tarot deck, and she holds no real power in Amber as of yet.
