Through the streets of Amber City this day, Princess Zariya headed a small procession up to the gates of Castle Amber. Along with the Princess herself and a retinue of soldiers, Princess Zariya had with her five magnificient Arabian horses. Each stallion was black as night, and looked to be a rich gift for the King indeed.
At the gates of Amber, Princess Zariya formally turned the steeds over to the King's hands stating, "This is but a small token of my esteem and appreciation for my liege. It is my fervent wish that I be able to serve him always, in whatever small capacity I can."
Gram is there to receive the gift of horses on behalf of the King. "His Majesty wishes to thank you for such a noble gift and encourages all his grandchildren to make expensive and wonderous gifts to the Crown."
He then gives Zariya a small medallion "This is the Order of Merit. Not a heraldic order but a medal for your actions on behalf of Amber."
