The Card: The Knight of Cups represents the firey part of water. It is a man who is a graceful dilettante, who is amiable in a passive way. He is quick to respond to attractions, and is easily enthusiastic. He is exceedingly sensitive, but has little depth of character. Ill-dignified, this card represents a man who is sensual but idle, untruthful, and prone to melacholy and drug abuse.
The Character: Elendil is a half-elf, like many of the cousins in Amber. He is King Oberon's son, however, and the Prince of Koros. He seems nice enough, and he certainly has many of his cousins drooling over his good looks. However, I have yet to see him do anything vaguely important, except respond when his foster father, the King of Koros, was assasinated.
