The Card: The Eight of Swords represents Interference. It indicates the waste of energy in details, thus causing the neglect of more important things. It means the lack of persistance. It can also indicate sheer bad luck in matters, or restriction of some kind. Lastly, it can also mean that great care is taken in some things that is counterbalanced by disorder in others.

The Character: Lord Badger is one of Haven's ministers. I'm not quite sure which office he holds (see how much I paid attention to him?). However, the few times that I had encountered Lord Badger in game, he seemed...overly boisterous and loud. He also has an uncanny knack of pissing people off, which has happened every time I've seen him in game.
