The Card: The 9 of Cups represents Happiness. It represents a complete success, pleasure, and happiness, but perhaps temporary. It means physical well-being. Ill-dignified, this card represents a danger of vanity, self-praise, conceit, and over-indulgence.

The Character: Tara is another of our relative new arrivals in Amber. She's happy and perky, and not really afraid to stare down someone who's been here longer. Hence, she got her head shaved. But, she turned that around and didn't seem to take major offense at it. I think. I think she's also got something going on with Vladimir (the 4 of Disks) but I'm not sure. I think this card represents her ok, but I'm not sure...haven't interacted a lot with her quite yet, so I guess we'll see.
