A written invitation is sent to Mahja shops, artisans, tradesmen and workers inviting them to join the Amber Guilds appropriate to their craft; a spokesman for the Guildmaster mentioned that few of the Mahji immigrants had taken the opportunity to join the extended family of Guildsmen, and that it was regrettable that they had not.
