The Card: The Fool card is the beginning of the Major Arcana in a tarot deck. It is the card that signifies ideas, thoughts, and a certain spirituality. It is the urge to transcend the earth-bound desires, the start of a long spiritual journey. It also represents the unpredictable, a random impulse or urge. If it is ill-dignified, the Fool card represents folly, eccentricity, or even mania.

The Character: Random was the King of Amber, but puttered it all away, basically. He is a big joke in the game of Equinox, made fun of by his siblings, nieces, and nephews. So, thus, he's the Fool of Equinox.
