The Card: The Empress card is the image of nature and nuturing. She represents love and beauty, graciousness and gentleness. Ill-dignifed, she can turn to debauchery and idleness. She also represents a certain earthy sensuality.

The Character: Llewella...well, still in Equinox she is a mystery. Although Llewella is closely associated with Rebma, and thus the ocean, the Empress is a card that I felt fits her personality (as much as I know of it anyway), more than any other of the major arcana. She was, is, a hard one to pin down.
