According to unconfirmed rumor, Claudine Danvers-Barimen, wife of Mad King Jason of Nuevo Sangre and Lupinia, just received an emergency hysterectomy. In the frenzy at Wolf's Eye, the normally tight security allowed some unsubstantiated facts to emerge:
During Claudine's prior captivity, and reported sexual abuse, by Delwin, she apparently contracted a latent infection that may have been contracted by Delwin during his time among the Abyss Hags.
Princess Tabitha of Ygg, daughter of Claudine and Jason, has been asked to visit her mother during her recovery, but it is not clear how much of this request is due to her mother's emotional and physical state and how much is due to concern for Tabitha's own health.
To keep the uterus from regenerating in its diseased form, blue crystal sutures have been used.
Rumor has it that Claudine ordered the extracted organ mailed to Delwin with a knife and a fork.
