Yes if you you hadn't already guessed you have reached the latest Red Dwarf News Buletin. Well it may not be the latest, but it is pretty darn smegging late OKAY. Now if you have heard any more news then I think you should be telling me, because I really want to know, so give me an email. The address is below:
New Web Page There is soon to be a massive official Red Dwarf Website which will be run by Grant Naylor Productions. New Video Red Dwarf: 'Pervisions' Series 1 is a new video due out on 2nd February '98 in the UK for £12.99 Cult TV: Action '97 Norman Lovett is a confirmed guessed at the Cult TV: Action '97 convention from the 24-27 October at the Haven holiday park at Caister, Norfolk, UK. Write to: PO Box 1701, Peterborough, PE7 1ER Phone: 01733 205009 Cult TV Magazine The next issue of 'Cult TV' magazine, out around the end of August in the UK, will have an interview with Craig Charles.
Series 8 was to filmed in February '98, but Craig Charles is now talking about it being sometime later in the year, probably around May. It will be 8 episodes long, like series VII. All the members of the cast will star in all 8 of the episodes, including Rimmer. Rimmer's return should start in the first episode. Doug Naylor will be the sole writer of series VIII. Ed Bye should be the director and producer again. :)

Series 1 - October
After the filming of Red Dwarf VIII, work is to start on the Red Dwarf Movie. Not much is none about it, but it is rumoured that Rob Grant will be involved. It will also still have the original cast. If the movie is a success, they will make another movie. If it isn't they will go back to the making the 8 episode series. Movie Update Craig Charles has confirmed that the Red Dwarf movie will defiantly go ahead with an international release. It will cost in the region of £20 million. Ed Bye will direct it and filming starts in October 1998.
