"Dusty" Lee of Torrance CA posing with his favorite toy - a tennis ball of course!
Dusty is out of "Harley" (AmCanCh Emerald's Man of Your Dreams) and "Gala" (RDO's What a Party), DOB 1-8-2004. Dusty's registered name is RDO's Desert Dust. His parents report that he loves chasing tennis balls and also chases his adopted sister around the yard. He does very well in obedience except when it comes to the "stand for examination". He loves people SO much he gets overly excited!
"Candy" is Dusty's littersister. She is an Autism Assistance dog, seen here posing near some summer color while she was still in training.
Candy's registered name is RDO's North Star Candy Kisses. She is a valued member of the North Star Foundation, currently on placement with a family in Phoenix AZ. Her "job" is to help diffuse her child's meltdowns and participate in his therapy and schooling. Candy exemplifies the North Star purpose through her sensitivity and automatic emapthic responses to her child's moods. Another fine littermate of Dusty and Candy's is "Kody" Freeman.
Kody is short for Takoda, which in Native American means "Friend to all" and thus Kody's registered name is RDO's Friend to All. He is indeed a friend to everyone he meets, affectionate and so gentle with toddlers that he is a regular visitor at his human mom's daycare. She reports that Kody plays soccer and loves his toys and raquet balls but pulls the fuzz off tennis balls so those are off limits.
From our OTHER litter in 2004 we have "Bailee" Finke
Bailee is out of a repeat breeding of "Leo" to "Abby". She was born Jan 12th and inherited her sire Leo's rich color and coat volume and her dam Abby's melt-your-heart eyes. Bailee parents report she spends "hours and hours" hunting in their bushes... who knows what she is hunting for, she isn't telling!

"Trip" Barnes of Huntsville AL starring as "Sandy" in a local production of "Annie"
Trip is out of Ch "Leo" (Ch Goldenwind Out of this World) and "Abby" (Emerald's Abagail Marie), DOB 12-24-01. Trip's registered name is RDO's Polar Express. His parents report that he did so well in obedience as a puppy that he was cast as "Sandy" at the tender age of 10 months and gave an absolutely perfect performance. Bravo!

"Sparkle" Herzberg of Houston TX in true "Golden" surroundings!
Sparkle is out of Ch "Leo" and "Betsy" (RDO's What A Notion), DOB 1-1-00. This was our "Millenium" litter and Betsy's last breeding. Sparkle's parents report that she enjoys swimming in their lake, going on walks, chasing her tail and being loved!
"Louie" Vandenberg, Sparkle's Litterbrother
We had high hopes that Louie would stay at RDO but as is sometimes the case, we ended up placing him into a loving pet home as a young adult. As you can see he does not lack for toys. Louie's registered name is RDO's What A Wonderful World (he was named for the Louis Armstrong song of the same name).

"Josiah" Fank of Pacific Palisades CA
Josiah (RDO's Man of His Word) was named for Ron Perlman's preacher character on the short-lived Western series "The Magnificent Seven". Josiah was born 1-30-98 out of RDO's The Knight is Young ("Luke") and RDO's Twinkle Twinkle Lil Star ("Darla"). He has quite a Fan Club, as everyone who meets him thinks he is the best and handsomest Golden there is.
"Sunny" Finke
Sunny (RDO's Golden Sunset) is a littermate to Josiah pictured above. Her mom reports that she is very tennis ball obsessed (most Goldens are!).
From the Class of '95
"Shelby" Greene living the good life in Las Vegas Nevada!
Shelby is out of Ch "Jedi" (Ch RDO-Emerald's Against All Odds) and "Missy" (Emerald's Innovation of RDO), DOB 3-11-95. Shelby's parents report: "She is very spoiled and loves riding in the car, sleeping on our bed, and swimming every day in the summer."

"Cooper" Fank at the beach in Pacific Palisades CA
Cooper was out of "Astro" (Ch RDO-Emerald's Rocket Man) and "Mimi" (RDO's Don't Rush Me), DOB 1-22-92. He was a real California Beach Boy, blonde, beautiful, and he loved to body surf. Rest in peace, Cooper, you are missed.
