Justice is the newest "keeper" here at Rancho Del Oro! In early 2005 we used the frozen semen we have stored on "Astro" for the first time. We selected our "triathalon girl" Rika for this honor and could not be more pleased with the results! Justice is a moderate, balanced, athletic, and delightful boy. He is very reminiscent of his sire and displays a number of behaviors that Astro was well known for. Ah, genetics! SOMETIMES we get what we hope for!
Here is Justice at his very first dog show, the GRCGLA 2005 Winter Specialty at the Long Beach Convention Center.
I took this candid photo from across the ring. He is not really this dark in color but was in a PERFECT "free stack."
Justice won his 6-9 mo Sweeps class and went third in the Regular class.
The lighting was terrible and so was the footing. This was a difficult photo to get (and NOT very flattering) as Justice's back feet kept slipping out from under him on the carpet. Fortunately, we expect there will be a lot more winning in Justice's future and we hope to have better photos of him soon!
