Desi was my first well bred Golden after three very poor quality "backyard bred" ones in a row. She showed me there really is a HUGE difference. She introduced me to the world of dog shows, field training, Search and Rescue, doggy "acting" for TV, and breeding. There was nothing I asked of her that she wasn't willing to try, and it was only my lousy training that kept her from achieving many more titles.

I can not recall Desi's "statistics"... how tall she was, what she weighed... I only know I was blessed to have her and did not fully appreciate at the time how truly spectacular she really was. We lost Desi at age 10 and a half to babesia gibsoni, a blood parasite.
