Comet is a stunning dog, everything a male Golden should be… tall and handsome with a winning smile and a wag in his tail.
We hope he will be our next big star in the show ring so we gave him an auspicious name!
Comet is pictured above making his US show debut at the Golden Retriever National in October 2004 where he made us proud, winning a third place in the Novice dog class.
Comet inherited his sire Leo’s superb headpiece in a lovely light honey gold colored package.
Comet was proven as a sire in his own right in early 2005, and produced stunning puppies with fun personalities
and lots of multipurpose talent.
Looks like he has the "right stuff" in his genes too!
We sent Comet to Canada for his Canadian championship in early 2005 and he finished that title in three weekends! (Unfortunately no photo was taken.)
He then came back to the US to grow coat and develop a LITTLE more maturity.
We sent him out in Nevember 2005 to the tough Arizona circuit where he won his first AKC points.
We have now begun our quest for his AKC Championship in earnest...
Comet has been sent to professional handler Adam Wilkerson for serious campaigning. He has been burning up Texas and here are two of his wins...
Comet is now "minored out" and waiting for Majors! We hope Comet is finished and back home again soon!
