I'm pretty sure this is a new movie, but it could be an old one. I saw it on television two years ago and thought it was a very wonderful movie. It tells the story of a young girl who wants to see the unicorns. A sprite, guardian of the unicorns, played by Tom Cruise, agrees to let her see them, as long as she does not touch. However, overcome by their beauty, she ignores his warnings and approaches the unicorn. The unicorn allows her to touch him, but in doing so, allows himself to be captured by the devil (very appropriately played by Tim Curry). He has plans to use the unicorns horn to take over the world, and wed the young girl. Tom Cruise, along with several other friends, vows to rescue the unicorn and the girl. I may be remembering this wrong, so please feel free to correct me. I don't have any pictures from it at this time, but maybe in the future.
I thought the special effects of this movie were especially good. The unicorns and other mythical creatures looked as real as they could be and the entire world seemed filled with magic.
