The Hobbit
This story, the prequel to the Lord of the Rings trilogy, tells the story of Bilbo Baggins and his greatest adventure, later retold in There and Back Again: A Hobbit's Holiday. Bilbo is recruited as a thief by thirteen dwarves and Gandalf the Wizard to assist the dwarves regain their homeland and treasure from Smaug the Dragon. The group travels through many perilous locations, fighting off goblins, wood elves and trolls. It is during this trip that Bilbo meets Gollum and steals a ring from him. A ring that will prove very important part of the Lord of the Rings. With the help of high elves and men, Bilbo and his company continue to the final battle with Smaug. This movie, of course, can not quite live up to the book, but it is hardd to put so much infomation into one and a half hours. Even though the animation is poor, I think that the hobbits and Gandalf are especially well portrayed. Below are some pictures I found that I really liked.
