Vampires Of Necropolis LARP Troupe

Body Language & Hand Symbols

Rock... Paper... Scissors...

One of the major differences between Table Top RPG's and LARPs is that no dice are used. Instead combat and challenges are worked out with Rock... Paper... Scissors... to settle problems or disputes.

Rock

Paper

Vampires with.... the intermediate level of Potence may use the Bomb in Physical challenges. The player with The Bomb MUST announce to their challenger " I have the Bomb and I win all ties."

Body Language

Body Language is probably one of the hardest things for new LARPers to understand. Different vampiric disciplines (powers) are represented in LARPing by the use of symbols and body language.

Auspex
Auspex is the Vampire's use of Supernatural senses even to the extent of reading someone's Aura or picking up Psychic Residue, and of course ultra sharp senses ( sight, hearing, smell )

Hightend Senses

Now look with your vampire eyes...
Lastat - Intervue with the Vampire - Ann Rice

Hightend Senses is the ultra sharp senses of the vampire with Auspex. (sight, hearing, smell)

Index finger pointing to eye.

Index finger touching ear.

Aura Perception
Aura Perception
With this Ability the Kindred is able to find out any one thing about the subject when they are using this Discipline. (ie. " Are you lying? ", "Are you a Vampire?", etc...)

Obsfucation

Obsfucation is the power to move about unseen or to disguise things about yourself such as your appearance or your true nature.

Unseen Presence
Arms folded across torso.

When another player is moving around with their arms crossed in the above manner, you should regard them as invisible unless you have an ability to see them or they have given themselves away by doing something that would give you reason to believe that someone invisible was nearby.

Mask of 1000 Faces

Hand held under Face as if holding a Mask

Vampires useing MASK look like anyone they want to. (even like that!)
