The next morning, the party packs their things and heads out. The journey is an uneventful 2 1/2
days. On the afternoon of the 19th, the party enters the city of Lacynos in order to buy supplies.
Elderitch buys a heavy cloak, 50' rope, spikes, small hammer, and climbing pick.
Reg buys the following: 50' rope, grappling hook, small claws for hand and feet, large sack, 5 day
supply of rations, 5 day supply of water, 1 bag of wine.
Tabrina and Angus buy cold weather clothing. Tabrina also buys a travelling spell book.
Seeing that the price of the spell book is alot, Tabrina asks, "Ummm...how much will you give me
for these two potions of mine?"
"That would cover the cost of the spell book." the storekeeper says. "Do we have a deal?"
"Throw in a read magic, sleep and magic missile spells and we will," replies Tabrina.
"Done," says the storekeeper.
Sarah buys cold weather clothing, as well as vials for holy water. "Do we need more climbing
gear?" she asks the storekeeper.
The storekeeper replies "As for climbing gear, do you have ropes and spikes?"
"How much do we need in terms of rope and spikes? I thought we had enough.. I'll take the
clothes, although I wonder if you have vials made out of something other than glass?"
"Sure, I have vials made out of copper, would you like those instead?"
"Thank you," Sarah replies.
After everyone has finished shopping, the party decides to relax for the evening before heading
out. They have a hearty meal of beef and boiled potatoes, with pitchers of cold mead at The
Knee. It is a small establishment filled with mainly young persons. After everyone is full, they
retire for the evening.
The next morning, September 20th, dawns cloudy and cool. The party gathers their things and
heads out. The party, all except Tabrina, is quiet today. Tabrina is still elated overher recent
purchases. The journey back to the mountain is uneventful.
