Former Job: Chief Engineer of the EFS Isis for 5 years

Background: Born on Earth in 2220 in Salt Lake City, Utah to a family that was okay, it had its ups and downs but out all of this Chris Lowell became a good person. At the end of high school when he was 18 he joined Earth Force just like Captain Shara McGurland did, but unlike her didn't have as much as good luck as she did while she was in there. Like her, he fought in Earth-Minbari War, but he didn't do the same thing that she did. He wasn't a pilots that fought in the battle, he was an engineer of one of the few capitol ships that survived the battle.

After the war when from ship to ship just doing his job, but with no real sing that he wanted to be in Earth Force like he did before the Earth-Minbari War and because of that almost lost his job. This was because he was lapse at his job that almost cause the ship that he was on to exploded, but it was stop, but not before it killed a person.

Then he went to the EFS Phoenix and he thought that it would be like his other pervious assignments. He was wrong because he meet up with Shara McGurland but at that time she was a first year commander and he could tell that. He saw himself in her and he didn't want that to happen to her, despite the age different that the two of them had. He didn't care, he just didn't want to have a person to share the same type of faith that he had. So he stuck close to her, but didn't make any attempts to make friends with her, that chance when she had her first job as the commanding officer where Shara and him were the only survivors. Being so close to depth he thought that it would be wise to make friends of her, witch he did. It was that friendship that he had with her, that straighten him out and made him get the job of Chief Engineer.

In 2258, with the news that Shara McGurland was finally going to become a captain with her own command, the EFS Isis, he requested to join her. His request was approve and was the movement that got his the job of Chief Engineer that he still holds to this day.

When the Civil War heated up, he stay with his Captain while other people that he knew made their choices to leave the ship to go on what sides that they wanted, despite that fact that some of his best people went away. That in fact made his job harder.

When she took her ship back to face the music he supported her actions and it was that action that he did that almost ruined his job once again. It was save because McGurland says that it was her actions and that he shouldn't be held for account just because of what she did during that time period in the Earth Alliance's history. She said to the board off inquiry " We all did things at time period that we are all ashamed of doing and that our inaction coast countless lives and trust. I did what I thought was right, even if you might think that what I did was wrong. I should be the one that should be held to account not my crew for they did what I told them to do. If you want a person to be blame, blame me for I was the one that made the choice not to fight in the Civil War, the burden of what I did is me alone not them. Leave them alone and if you don't show them mercy. Don't ruin their careers just because they were put on a ship whom captain was the type of person that thinks that fighting between your own people is a waste of time and effort. Is the type of thing that no captain should be put through no matter how good it might of have seem at the time."

The speech work for the crew. They were all save including Chris Lowell.

Then in 2263, McGurland got the command of the ISA Vortex and because of that she chose him to come along with her on that ship.

Disposition: A little ill-bearing person, that would rather hit a thing to get to work then actually look inside of the thing. He dose get the job done.
