Background: A former slave this was because her family soled her into slavery to pay off their debts that had made over the years, Dureena won her freedom in a combat galaliter style fighting event that was called "The Pit". After that she joined the Thieves' Guild and was though the way of the thief that was called Gant the Elder. The period of the time that she spent with him is unknown, but after a period of time she went away from him, and traveled the universe. While she was doing that she had seen other worlds that no one on the Excalibur's have seen, been the worlds that they have only heard about, and have been to worlds that they have been to. She wasn't around her world when it was destroyed by the Shadow Planet Killer toward the twilight of the Last Great Shadow War and since her world was neutral in the war, she blame John Sheridan for the lost of her world. That cause the depth of her family and everything is that she knew was gone because of that even.

In 2267, she went to Babylon 5 to join the local Thieves' Guild that was on that station for reason she didn't know. The only way that she was caught was the picture that Sheridan drew of her that she put out on the station to the station's security personal. That until Sheridan and told her what was going on, that it was the Drakh, not him that cause the depth of her world and that the Drakh was still out there, that happen after she had attack him. He give a her a chance to hurt the Drakh, with the chance to get some revenge for what they did to her world she join up with him to help. Which she did with the finding of the Data Crystal and finding out which target to take out to destroyed the Shadow Planet Killer. Despite the fact that it was in vain because the Drakh had seeded the air of Earth with a deadly plague that would kill every living thing on Earth in five years unless a cure in found.

After that she went to Babylon 5 were she meet with Galen and after that the two of them went to Mars were she meet up with Captain Matthew Gideon. With some convincing that they would need a person like she was to help them, he picked her to help him them on their quest two find the cure for the Drakh Virus.

She was thought to the last of her race, but that was until the crew of the Excalibur went to a world that was inhabited with humans that were infected by the Drakh virus that in turn infected the last of her race that was called "The Lost Tribe". Only her and Doctor Chambers know about them.

She asked Galen to teach her what he knows, but he has refused stating that her will for revenge with the knowledge will result in bad results. The only way that he will teach her what he knows is when her desire for revenge is over with or has lessen.

Disposition: Strong, independent, and will stand up to what she believe in. If that dose not work she will throw a knife or two at you for not believing that she is like that. Dose not like a person that is a bad theif to get away with stealing things.
