The Mountain I thought I had it all planned out, this life of mine. When fate stepped in and gave me a new mountain to climb.
Standing alone and frightened, I beheld this mountain high. My eyes searching upward, the apex reaching the sky.
The beauty before me made my heart pound, but accepting this challenge, Made me wonder if my judgement was sound
Then I heard a soft voice, whisper my name. It sounded like music and my fears it did tame.
I glanced over my shoulder and smiling eyes I did see. With loves soft light shining on me.
The warmth from this light was such I had never seen. The love so pure, I felt it must be a dream.
"We'll climb this mountain together." I heard the angel say. "Facing each new challenge, day by day."
Opening his arms he enfolded me within and I softly whispered, 'Let our journey begin."
Awareness dawned, and suddenly I knew. The Mountain is called love... and the Angel is You.
