My Definitive Plans -- Tuesday, September 27, 2005

These days, I'm going to a school to get a degree in computer programming and game design. I guess I'll be busy for some four more years of going to school, but I'm not too busy to work on my Pokémon website. To say that I've gotten tired of my website, is like saying I no longer have a passion for video games. I have my goals in order now:

  1. Upload Pokémon sprites from the GBA games.
  2. Make table data for almost every attack in the game.
  3. Make Pokédex pages for the first 151 Pokémon.
  4. Make an attack database listing all of the attacks in order.
  5. Upload sprite images for all the items in the games.
  6. Make item database pages for all of the games.
  7. Make Pokédex pages for the last 235 Pokémon.
  8. Make a berry database with information and locations.
  9. Finish the R/S/E Trainer's Guide up to Verdanturf Town.
  10. Make information pages for Pokémon training and breeding.
  11. Finish the FR/LG Trainer's Guide up to Saffron City.
  12. Make information pages about connectivity with Colosseum/2.
  13. Make an alternative Pokédex section for R/B/G/Y/G/S/C.
  14. Finish the C/S/C Trainer's Guide up to Ecruteak City.
  15. Finish the R/B/G/Y Trainer's Guide up to Saffron City.
  16. Make information pages for things involving multiple games.
  17. Finish all of the Trainer's Guides for all of the games.

After all that is done, I'll probably just write about strategies for raising and battling your Pokémon. I wish I could just do that sooner rather than later.

Last Day of Summer Vacation -- Monday, September 5, 2005

I never got around to updating the website over the summer, but I guess it was always in my thoughts. I apologize for what has again become a slow year for TPP, but hopefully I will rebuild myself with the stuff I learned and achieved this summer.

I drew my own picture of Togepi because all the other pictures are lacking a special something. I have the image scanned and stored on my computer for later use. I've never thought of myself as an artist, but I assure you that this thing will look great if I just figure out how to paint it in properly. I'll have to learn how to use Photo Shop sometime.

I had a talk with the Arty2 of the Legendary Pokémon website and I got permission to use some of his Pokédex data. Using that data, I managed to make the first three pages of the TPP Pokédex. In my eyes, this is the most incredible thing I have ever seen! The information for Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, & Venusaur is there, but it is incomplete because I didn't list their TM/HM Moves and Breeding Moves.

There is a lot of work to be done. The website is kind of broken right now (in my eyes), and I will fix it later this month. See you next time!
