Pokémon Center NY Updated Again -- Monday, February 21, 2005

I just wanted to let it be known that I added descriptions for at least 6 more photos in the Pokémon Center NY section. The next batch of photo descriptions will be pretty hard since I forgot to take photos of the second floor game room and battle tables. I will be going back to New York later on this year to try and get more Pokémon from the Gotta Catch 'Em All station.

I may have to split the Pokémon Center section into multiple pages since I seem to be writing too much content, but that's a good thing since I am describing everything very well so that you don't have to go all the way to New York to know what it's like to be there. I still have to write about the Pokémon that I got there in July 2004.

Pokémon Center NY Updated -- Sunday, February 20, 2005

Hello there! I have been busy for most of the week doing lots of personal stuff around the house, such as packing unnecessary stuff and putting it into my basement. I got to Celadon City on my Leaf Green game. I gained more experience in manually repairing PCs with viruses. My friend said he could no longer connect to the internet, so I fixed his computer. When I get even better at it, I may even get paid to do that for people.

I was really happy when I saw my website stats go up in visitors for the past 2 weeks! And so, I decided to spend a little more of my spare time updating my website rather than playing video games and such. I don't have school for all of next week, so I will be finishing the Pokémon Center NY page in a few days. I made a description of the first photo so that you can know what to expect later on this week. Don't forget to check my site regularly for updates!

Happy Valentines Day! -- Monday, February 14, 2005

Again I haven't been able to update the site in over a week. I spent my weekdays doing schoolwork and playing Mario Party 6. I spent my weekend helping my dad and fixing up the MAME emulator on my computer. Any other free time I had was put into playing my Pokémon Leaf Green, which I am now at the entrance to Dark Tunnel with 25 unevolved Pokémon in my Pokédex.

Of course, there are still other reasons why I haven't had to time to update my site. Writing them down would be a waste of time anyways. On another note, I mistakenly wrote down my last update as being posted on "Sunday, February 4", but that was actually "Sunday, February 6". I'll try not to let it happen again.

To everyone who celebrates it: Happy Valentines Day!

Not much updates. -- Sunday, February 6, 2005

Alright, I haven't done anything to the site in a whole week, so I'll explain what is going on. For about 3 days I've been sending e-mails to get permission to use some copywrite material for my future Pokédex project. I won't say what the material is, but I am sure that it will be very useful to have. I also decided to restart my Leaf Green game since I never really worked hard on it in the first place. I was attempting to do 2 things: I wanted to figure out if there is a certain pattern as to how your character is chosen for when you are in the Union Room, and I wanted to get the ultimate Squirtle as a starter and teach him Hydro Cannon.

I didn't find a pattern for finding out your Union Room character, it seems to be very random or it uses a kind of formula involving your trainer ID. I can't figure that out without a Gameshark to be modifying my ID. My character, Rose, ended up being a Cooltrainer, but I still would have enjoyed being a PkMn Breeder. I tried getting Squirtle from Professor Oak many times until he finally gave me one with very good stats: Sassy nature, 20 HP, 10 Atk, 13 Def, 11 Sp.Atk, 13 Sp.Def, 9 Spd. Squirtle's Attack may have been only 10, but he ended up doing 4 points of damage to Gary's Bulbasaur each time. Bulbasaur could only do 2 points of damage each time it attacked Squirtle. All they ever did was exchange tackles, so Squirtle won with 12 HP to spare!
