Summery: In ANH, Luke says '...when Biggs and Tank left.' Tank is never 
mentioned anywhere else in the movies. Maybe mark Hamill slipped, but maybe he 
didn't. This is Tank's story.



Dear Diary,

	This will probably be my last entry. I have this feeling of dread, it's 
just hanging in the air above my bunk. I don't think I'm going to make it 
through the next battle. I want to leave a record, something that will jump up 
and say 'Hey! I was important! I helped! I did good things!' Well, diary, this 
is it.

	My name is Jaime Musketeer but everybody calls me Tank. Before I joined 
the military, I was fat, but the trainers have worked me down to what is 
considered normal. I was born and raised on Tatooine in Anchorhead. My folks 
died when I was a kid so I was raised on the streets. I had two very good 
friends and we would crash around Anchorhead like we owned the place. We must 
have been quite a site: a street rat, the son of one the rich snobs, and the 
pauper nephew of a moisture farmer. We had high hopes. We were going to join the 
Empire together and pilot our way to the top ranks were Commander Fel and other 
greats are placed. We wanted to be recognized. But it didn't work out. Luke's 
uncle would by no means let him go so it was just me and Biggs who boarded the 
shuttle for the Imperial Academy. At the Academy, things didn't go so well. 
Biggs hung out with all the slackers and the ones who looked like they would be 
Rebels. I had to constantly remind him about the correct way to go. But it 
didn't help. Biggs defected the first chance he got along with his newly 
commissioned squad. I was suspect, but there was no inquiry. I'm scared. I know 
that he next place we visit is going to be Yavin 4 and scuttlebutt has it that 
that's the place where the Rebel base is. I'm scared that I'll shoot down Biggs 
without knowing it. All the propaganda we're fed keeps telling me that Biggs is 
better off dead, but I don't believe it.

	Even more so are the stories of a freighter that entered and left the 
Death Star. The tapes I've seen show one of the inhabitants of the freighter as 
a young man with blonde hair and blue eyes. And he looks exactly like Luke. So 
both my friends are on the Rebel side.

	Diary, if I survive this battle, which I don't believe, I'm going to 
defect to the Rebellion. I want to be with my friends.

Historians' note: Tank Musketeer was killed during the Battle of Yavin by Biggs 
Darklighter after attempting to shoot down Luke Skywalker. Biggs Darklighter 
came from behind and Tank never knew what hit him.
