Union Jack limited edition action figure

Made by:
Toy Biz, released in 1998 for a Toyfare exclusive offer in issue 7, March 1998

Comments:
Union Jack is actually a repainted Spider-Man toy, all Toyfare exclusives are repaints. I think it was a parachute Spider-Man or something, it's got a hole going all the way through the sides, which is covered by the belt, and there's this other big groove in the back. The belt is removable, and it holds a little gray knife. Unfortunately it didn't come with a pistol. The figure itself is fairly good, the paint job is less than average, but it does have 11 points of articulation, maybe 10, it does look like the neck should move, but I'm not gonna force it to just in case. But when compared to other figures released that year, it seems fairly old. One thing I find odd about this toy though, is that I'm not a toy collector, and wasn't really in to Union Jack at the time I bought it (the mini-series was released the next year) I just saw it and said "Damn, I need that".

Here's the add for it that ran in Toyfare issue 7, March 1998. Notice that the design for the flag on the name banner is incorrect.
