THROW MOMMA FROM THE TRAIN

Even though this is not a horror movie, I feel it needs to be mntioned here. Normally, I've despised most takes on Stranmers on a Train, however this one is superb. Billy Crystal plays a disgruntled writer who's ex-wife stole his unpublished book and later published it under her own name. Of course she soars to publicity and he's struggling to make ends meet. Danny Devito plays a wannabe writer who wants to knock off his momma because she's o domineering. He makes a pact with Billy Crystal's character that each should kill the others nemeis-woman. Billy laughs it off...until his ex-wife is missing. Then Danny returns wanting his end of the deal.

This movie is hysterical and there is a wonderfully hilarious train scene at the end. It respects Hitchcock's Strangers from a Train (at one point Danny Devito is watching it....that's where he gets his idea from.) This movie is well worth a view for any fan of Strangers on a Train. 1
