This movie suffered from the same disease that Dracula (1979) did. All special effects, no story. Gary Oldman is quite convincing as the Vampire and does an excellent job....but the plot seems quite weak to me. Anthony Hopkins is the Van Hesling. I normally do enjoy him but he was completely unonvincing in theis role because he overacted WAY too much. I wouldn't reccomend this film to anyone....even if you are a Dracula fan.
