Handle Mad Hatter (17)
Real Name Francine Uri Santos
Yogang Gamblers (Disavowed)

Francine was born into a comfortable lifestyle. Her parents weren't rich, but she never went without necessities. Unfortunately, the infamous Oklahoma City Fire destroyed her family and her life when she was only eight years old. All that remained was the book her dad had given to her for her seventh birthday, Alice in Wonderland. She was shuttled to her brother's care in Night City. Her brother was a low-level hood and delivery boy for the Organitskaya. He saw to it that she ate well and went to school every day. He also taught her how to gamble, which was his only hobby. She picked it up instantly. Soon, she was beating him consistently. Eventually, she decided to up the stakes (literally), and began frequenting the pits. It took a few months, but her game began to get better, especially poker and baccarat. By the time she was sixteen, she was well known throughout Gambler subculture. Her ruthlessness, skill, and signature black dress earned her the handle, the Black Widow.
Eventually, the respect and the (by her estimation) meager winnings just weren't enough. In a daring move, she struck out to increase her holdings tremendously. In a plan accomplished over a month and a half and with over a dozen individual stages, she pulled of a tremendous heist. Using two contacts (their identities remain unknown, but many believe they followed her into the Disavowed), she managed to raid the Flamingo pit, burn the building to the ground, loot the remains, scam the survivors, and cover it all up with both a police raid and Guardian foul-up. It's estimated that she made upwards of fifty thousand dollars. Unfortunately for her, the owners of the pit suspected one of the Gamblers of cheating. This meant that there was a member of the pit wearing a video camera to catch him in the act. The evidence captured in the images was far from conclusive, but it did raise questions. In order to escape the pressure, she framed her brother (who died for his 'crimes') and disappeared.
Francine's ruthlessness and organizational skill amazed Bonepart, so he asked her to form his intelligence community. She readily agreed. Now she runs the Tea Party, a name that she chose. She runs the Tea Party through intricate plots, careful culling of contacts, and carefully weighed risks. As part of her deal with Bonepart, she is allowed to make a profit on the side through blackmail, extortion, or theft as long as the Disavowed are not at risk and the group receives fifteen percent. Her new handle is the Mad Hatter, but she has dozens of aliases in a variety of yogangs. She follows Bonepart for three reasons, she respects his skill, profits by his actions, and fears his retribution. She has seen what happens to traitors and would prefer death. There are persistent rumors that they are or were romantically involved, but neither will talk about it.
The Mad Hatter has poise. She moves with a determined form of grace and carefully measured movements. When not out among the yogangs, she still enjoys wearing her pearl earrings and a simple, yet elegant black dress. While in the outside world, she dresses to match her surroundings and does it well (use Blend as an estimation of her disguise ability). Talking to her is always a pleasure, but often more damaging than one realizes. She seems bright and cheery, yet never says anything of herself. Her conversations are a dagger wrapped in silk and the most potent weapon in her arsenal. Her ruthlessness extends to combat as well, so when meeting her, watch your words and your back.
