Daedalus is BeastieBoy with a primary interest in birds. Despite her young age (11), she has already risen far in the ranks. Part of the reason for this is upbringing. Both her parents worked for GeneTec; her dad as an accountant and her mom as a research chemist. For the past two months she's been living with her gang, the Bozo Clones. This wasn't her choice, she came back from school one day and found her house engulfed in flames. She is always on the lookout for news about her parents or her older brother Bluey, a Rad. Luckily, her entire family wasn't in the house; her two familiars, Icarus (a hawk) and Athena (a Great Horned owl) were outside. Unfortunately, her feathered friends couldn't prevent her from getting a case of the Carbon plague. She emerged from the other side a Scout and has received training from some of the other gang members. She wears her brown hair short (or the birds play with it) and wears a brown duster so the birds can perch on her shoulders. She also keeps her envirogloves on for most of the time. In order for her animal companions to find her, she also wears a bandanna on each arm. Each bird is trained to respond to a particular bandanna, Icarus to white and Athena to red (this prevents fights over perches). Daedalus tends to bide her time, rather than act rashly, but when she decides to act, nothing is held back. She has gotten into the habit of letting her birds carry her probes, which has given her new range in her abilities, but makes her animals look strange to untutored eyes. Cassandra treats her pets as the last remnant of her family and will protect them with everything and anything.
