It is out of respect for the Nightmares, the once long time companion of Dark Knights, that I would like to speak a few words about them. They are to be remembered....

The Nightmares were demonic stallions from the Abyss (okay okay I know, mares/stallions makes no sense but that is how they were coded. They were ALL male *rolls eyes*). These creatures of night and death snort fire and emerge from portals from the Abyss to the summoning Knight.

The Knight who summoned them would have graduated from the ranks of Squires, have had a very evil disposition, and achieved a commanding level in the Occult power of Summoning and a good ability at Riding (60 in Summoning, 20 in Riding). The Nightmares were a valued ally of the Knights, following him or her into many a battle.

NIGHTMARE'S DESCRIPTION
A black gaunt horse with red eyes as red as the fires of hell it also has flaming hooves that scorch the earth as it gallops along the ground of the material plane. This horse is one of the steeds of the abyssial lords and should not be trifled with if you are good of heart. The fiercesome nightmare strong back can support a knight in full armour, yet it is fast enough to race against a speed demon. The very sight of it strikes terror into your heart.
He is in good health.
Nightmare named Shadowen has a strange dark aura around him.

Shadowen was the name of my nightmare, the nightmare of Vireyda Magaly. He served me loyally from the moment I summoned him, often sacrificing his corporeal body and returning to the Abyss only to later return again in another mortal form when I resummoned him. Our bond was tight and true. Although I have been bonded to many wyverns now - I shall forever miss my Nightmare...Shadowen.
