The captain woke up in a heated furry. He had to kill something! He saw his house plant and decided that would do for now. He got a faser, set it to 16 and fired. It vaporized into nothingness. He wondered what had just transpired. He decided to call upon the expert advise of his ships councilor, Deanna Troy.
"Captain, what can I do for you?" asked the small woman.
"Well Deanna, I just woke up this morning and had the uncontrollable urge to kill," he replied. " I grabbed a faser and disrupted my favorite plant."
"Captain, uncontrollable rang is normal. What brought this on?" she asked.
"It wasnt like that, it was as if I had lost control," he explained.
"As I said rage is normal. People lose their temper all the time."
"I lost control, yes, but I was being controlled by something!" he interupted.
"Captain, I think you are exaggerating. I feel . . .
Captain Picard had gone and gotten a phaser . He shot her and she disappeared. He went into the corridor with his faser in hand. He arrived on the bridge. Once there, he asked Data a question.
"How far away are we from Star Base 32?"he asked.
"We are 30 light-years away from Star Base 32," came the reply.
"Thank you Data," he praised.
"Youre welcome sir, " he said.
Picard set the faser on wide setting and on level 16. He backed up to the wall and fired. Everything living vaporized in front of him, everything else was badly singed. He then told the computer to flood the ship with Benzene gas to kill everyone on board. After everyone was dead Q appeared.
"Good show Mon Capition. I am impressed. You passed my little quiz very quickly." Praised the being.
"Q return me to my ship!" he demanded.
Then captain Picard was on the bridge of the Enterprise, HIS ship, feeling greatful to have survived another encounter with Q.
"Data, how far are we from Star Base 32?" he checked.
"We are currently 30 light years from Star Base 32, the android responded.
"Thank you Data," the captain said.
"You are quite welcome sir," came the reply.
Set course for Hallga IV Mr. Gallas, warp three. ENGAGE!" he commanded.
With that, the ship did a 45 degree turn and sped away leaving only a burst of light.
