Candace Painter was born on Earth in 2349. As a child, Candace spent hours on end studying the operation of the LCARS system. She joined Starfleet in 2364, at age 15.
She was stationed on the Uss Galaxy, where she served for 3 years. She was transfered to the Uss Enteprise in 2371, as a Lt(Jg) and was promoted to Lt(Sg) after the crash of the D. She was then put on Starbase 23 where she was untill 2373. She was taken on board the Saturn as 3rd in command, Operation Officer. She was promoted to Lt. Commander when she took command of the Devine after Miller was lost, and she was able to save the Devine.
