Nick's ex-wife is a lawyer attempting to expose the unethical practices of an immortal doctor, who in return is trying to kill her. But Amanda also has a score to settle.
Aside from the hugely inappropriate title, there's a lot to recommend here. The arrival of Lauren Wolfe actually lends a new dimension to Nick, and his relationship with Amanda becomes more fleshed out as a result.
Heller is something of a straightforward villain; he's stylish, he's English, he must be evil, but he does make a good opponent. The fact that Nick is willing to take his head is also a clever twist, but what makes this even better is that the writer doesn't wimp out at the last minute by letting Amanda rush to the rescue.
Containing a twist I wasn't actually expecting, this is a well-scripted and thoughtful episode that, unlike many this season, shows the potential there is in The Raven.
