Loyalty: Part Seven

Impaled on the alien's barbed tail, Scorponok mentally issued the command to transform. He knew that in doing so, he would die in a relatively short period of time. At this point, he didn't care. He was going to die, it was now a matter of how he would die.
"I'm a Predacon!" he shouted at the creature as he transformed. He began to slam his claws into the massive tail.
"A Cybertronian!" he shouted even more forcefully as the transformation completed. "And -YOU-, whatever in the Pitt you are, -YOU- will know fear!" Scorponok, now in robot mode, used all of his strength to rip himself free of the offending object. As Scorponok freed himself from the final painful inch, he did not drop dully to the floor. Rather, summoning reserves of strength he had never tapped before, the Predacon performed an acrobatic maneuver that landed him squarely on his feet.
The creature did not move. He merely scrutinized the now skeleton-like figure standing before him. A gaping hole in Scorponok's chest gave off an erie glow as whisps of energon began flowing around him. He would go into permenant stasis lock any moment now, but not before he made his final stand.
"Now, you walking nightmare, you get yours!" In one swift moment, Scorponok let loose with a volley of missles and toxic sting blasts. The alien stood frozen like some macarbe statue as the arsenal sped toward it. In a nano-click, the cavern violently shook from the multiple explosions.
As the smoke and crushed debris filtered away, Scroponk's face widened as he noticed the alien standing, unharmed, from his attack. The creature actually looked amused as the energon deposits around it and began to pulse violently.
"Fine," Scorponok said in resignation. At least it ends for both of us.
The alien then did something that chilled Scorponok to his core processor. It began to laugh.
