Two days later.

"Warning: Voice command override. Unit Scorponok will suffer permanent stasis lock if Restoration process is not implemented." A long pause.
"Core energy dump to primary systems initiated. Computer ... off-line."
He was now completely alone. Hunted. Damaged almost to the point of no return. He was also Predacon, and he would not yeild to the alien creature that had relentlessly pursued him for so many cycles. If he were to die, he would take the creature with him to the Inferno.
He lay crouched, in beast mode, on a thin ledge high above the ground. The only illumination provided by the now faint traces of energon formations. Placing his head over the rocky ledge, Scorponok intently listened for the creatures approach. He would have to rely on all of his organic senses now. For this, he felt crippled and trapped. But soon, he hoped, this nightmare would end. For now, he thought, all fear and doubt had to be removed.
The sound came as it had so many times before. "No fear," he thought to himself again.
The sound came closer. Organic and mechanical limbs effortlessly speeding across the terrain.
"No doubt," he faintly whispered.
The creature was almost there.
"It's time."
It was there. In his line of sight. "Now." The only warning that the alien had of the Predacon's assault was the faint movement of air created by the downward strike of Scorponok's tail. An upward glance was greeted by the injection of cyber-venom directly between the alien's eyes. A brief cry of pain was followed by a second strike. The creature was lightning fast, however, and two of it's upper limbs deflected the blow. The other two limbs grabbed hold of the tail, easily flinging Scorponok off and into the adjacent wall.
The Predacon regained his balance just as the alien leaped onto him. Narrowly avoiding the alien's deadly claws, he leaped to the right and delivered another dose of cyber venom into one of the alien's left legs. The creature screamed in pain, and anger. Turning, the two opponents squared off against one another.
There was a slight red shimmer, and the alien disappeared.
"Impossible," thought Scorponok. He wondered if his internal optic sensor circuitry had malfunctioned. With his computer off-line, there was no way to discern.
"How?" The question lingered as a brief red shimmer illuminated the back side of the Predacon.
In a nano-second, the alien's tail blade imbedded itself into the mid-section of Scorponok's back. Pain, as the Predacon had never experienced it, ripped throughout his body as the creature lifted him into the air to meet. Metal and organics shrieked, circuitry ignited and fizzled, as the alien curled it's massive tail and dangled Scorponok before it's gaze.
It's eyes narrowed as it drew the Cybertronian closer for inspection.
"You ... you think ... you've won?" The alien shook the impaled Predacon briefly as an answer before drawing him even closer.
"You're ... wrong."
"Scorponok ... Terrorize!
