P-Files #PF.FF-01: Head Huntings
Many years ago, there was a spooky folklore in Singapore.
The occultists believe that whenever there is a construction of bridges or Flyover (i.e., Highway) anywhere in Singapore, there will be head-hunting. Some mysterious figure(s) would go about at night with a sabre or sword, cutting off the heads of passersby that walked the streets late at night.
The belief was that the bridges or highways could use some spirits (i.e., souls) to hold and support the structures during construction. These spirits can strengthen the structure by preventing it from collapsing. The way to do it is get someone killed and severed their heads off. The deceased bodies had their heads severed and the spirits would then be 'headless' in theory. The mysterious figure (probably sorcerer, warlock or witch) will then control the spirits by having their heads in hand.
