In a small shop's back room, in the large city of Caemmlyn Orestar was born. Then without a last name, and a dead mother the shop keeper named him Orestar. With a mother dead, and no known father the shopkeeper adopted the little boy, taking all the gold from the woman and putting it in a safe place for when Orestar grew up.
Orestar grew up in the service of the shopkeeper. He inherited the shopkeeper's surname: Credlin. When Orestar wars young he alwyas found it strange that all his friends had two parents, a mother and a father, and all he had was a father, but he just forgot about it as soon as he thought aobut it. When he was old enough to understand he was told of his heritage. After that he couldn't look at his "father" the same way.
Orestar fell into service of working in the shop and selling the items when the shopkeeper's workers fell ill. He found this line of work satisfactory. One day a male Aes Sedai and a female Aes Sedai entered the shop in search of travel goods. Orestar scrambled to get them and when he came back into the room he found the two in a soft converstaion.
They eventually, after purchasing what they needed, Orestar asked to be tested for the channeling ability. They ran a few tests before they left him with an open inviation to Tar Valon and the Tower of Chasaline.
After a few months, Orestar found himself with the little gold of his mother, and a horse of the shopkeeper's on the road to Tar Valon. To become a Novice and study the One Power.
Orestar has the clasic Nature vs. Nurture atributes of him. His Nature was that of his mother, whom he'd not known. He has a nice disposition and a soft caring heart for a Nature, that usually doesn't win over his Nurture. His Nurture was the enviornment which he grew up in. It was a tough life, even when the shopkeeper treated him as a son. He'd gained muscles working with the cargo, and a hard outer exterior.
He has brown hair of an Andoran and deep blue eyes that look past long strands of hair. He doesn't believe in short hair, nor long and his hair falls to about his nose level, and always is strands. He prefers to wear darker clothing and a pair of comfortable boots that the shopkeeper had given to him before his departure to the Tower.
