Life breathed cool air unto me
Filled me with joy and sorrow
Taking away another’s life
So Death embraced thee
Life’s joy was for lovers free
Carefree Fates with uncontent hearts
They never sought their Avalon
Until Death embraced thee
The Fairy Folk lived happily
Their King gave merriment to all
His Life’s work was never found
But Death embraced he
The Gods’ lives were mighty
Worshipped by all and none
They promised Life after Death
Still, Death embraced thee
A Vagabond’s Life was for me
True to word, humble of thought
A Life in vain perfection
Though Death embraced thee
Nature filled my Soul with ectasy
Her gentle hands pressed ‘gainst my lips
She promised me another’s Love
Pointing, Death embraced she
Life had shown all there was to see
Her barren Lands upon ageless Eyes
I was not alone anymore
Because Death embraced me.....
