Background

Cade started life as the son of a Gondorian soldier. His mother died when he was nine years old and his father remarried soon after. Cade resented his new mother and resented his father even more for remarrying. It did not help that his father was absent for much of the time in his duties as a soldier. In the poor section of Minas Tirith, Cade turned to crime.

Cade's life of crime was helped by his natural strength and large frame. By the time he was eighteen, he was a favored thug of a Minas Tirith crime boss called "The Duke". His violent streak was encouraged which led to Cade murdering a holy man who refused to pay for "protection". This single act still haunts Cade, but it led to his greatest choice.

Cade joined the Army of Gondor. In the Army, Cade proved himself a fearless and impressive, though somewhat violent, warrior. He rose quickly in rank, though his temper and stubbornness kept him from raising higher than a captain's rank.

Even with all his faults, Cade is extremely loyal to Gondor and its ideals. He treats his subordinates well and if not for his faults would have risen to Captain of Gondor already. Who knows if he would even want to be Captain of Gondor. He still does like to leap into masses of Orcs to fight them hand to hand and he's had a sword forged from armor and weapons of his fallen foes. Cade lives for battle.
